The food at Indus Restaurant has always been exceptional, but in recent years, they have truly elevated their game. The quality, taste, and presentation are unmatched, and the customer service is second to none. The staff are incredibly welcoming, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that enhances the dining experience. There’s simply no competition when it comes to their level of hospitality. Highly recommended, a must try for anyone who appreciates great food and top-tier service!

My partner and I dined at Armaan for the first time last week following regularly reading great reviews on local Facebook pages. The reviews were very accurate indeed! We arrived around 6.30pm and the restaurant was very quiet - I expect it gets busier as the evening goes on. The waiter was very friendly and courteous and the restaurant had a very comfortable and spacious feel to it. To start, we ordered paneer pakora to share which was very generous and oozing with flavour. For the main, I ordered the chicken tikka masala and was pleased to find that it could be customised to my taste - mild to moderate. My partner ordered the Karahi fish and also praised the infusion of spices. The main meals came with a sundry side and between us we opted for the pilau rice and naan - both great portion sizes for sharing. All the food was freshly cooked, not greasy and great value for money. I would 100% recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic and independent restaurant experience with great prices.

Food was cold, bland chips. Butter chicken just pure oil. Ordered a garlic nan and received a plain

Worst tasting curry I have ever had. A shame as we were looking forward to this restaurant and were a large group for a birthday meal. The Butter Chicken was extremely plain with no spices or flavour to it, tasted like nothing and the pilau rice was essentially just plain boiled rice. Would not recommend…

Went here 2 weeks ago fair enough it was quiet staff were great and the food was so nice better than a certain place round the corner, will be coming back here again

Appalling customer service from the manager 25 of us arrived as booked at 6.30 for my grandsons 16th birthday . We were seated in individual booths away from the main side of the restaurant. the booth was not comfortable for my daughter due to her being 8 months pregnant and it also meant the family in our party had their backs to each other and we had a cake that we wanted to put in the centre . The main area was almost empty apart from one couple and there was a long row of tables together we explained to the manager the booths were not suitable and asked if we could sit in the main area on the row of tables , the manager abruptly said no incase other customers walk in and want those tables .We asked if they had been reserved and he said no but you can’t sit there .we reminded him that we had booked in advance for a birthday party and would have appreciated some consideration to make us comfortable he snapped at my daughter and said the booths are fine and I can’t help . He could clearly see the children in the party becoming upset but he had no compromise was dismissive and walked away we asked to see him again and he refused to come out to speak with us Due to his rudeness we felt uncomfortable and said we were leaving my daughter asked for her £60 deposit back the manager then returned and he snapped no a deposit is a deposit do you understand and there is no refund . I said the deposit is not refundable if we had not turned up but we have turned up been treated badly and therefore forced to leave so it should be paid back he rudely said no you are not getting it back .We did not want our grandsons birthday ruined so all decided to leave without our deposit . This manager was a rude angry little man and looked quite scruffy in appearance the other staff were very apologetic and tried to reason with him on our behalf but he was just as rude to them it was clear they were embarrassed and could not apologise enough .Over the years we have had many great evenings at 7 spices with excellent customer service I can only assume it has changed hands such a shame to see it decline in this way A shout out to butlers restaurants up the road we called them and explained our situation and they went above and beyond to accommodate us despite being busy , the food , customer service and effort they went to was fantastic and thankfully my grandson had a great 16th birthday thanks to butlers they even put sparklers on his cake and put 7 slices to Shame

Fantastic food and great service, thoroughly recommended based on our visit. Nice restaurant with pleasant decor and the open kitchen (behind glass) is very impressive/reassuring. We had a biryani and garlic chilli chicken (with garlic nan), both were excellent but we will probably stink of garlic for a week! Congratulations to the staff and management, your Tripadvisor reviews are hard earned and well deserved

Deliciosa comida para llevar de última hora. Yo estaba ordenando en línea, pero tuve que llamar a re gluten / opciones sin lácteos y el tipo era muy servicial y tomó mi pedido por teléfono. Recogido 30 minutos después y un servicio excelente, además de que estaba delicioso, tenía sobras para el almuerzo al día siguiente! Sin duda recomiendo 😍

Oh yes! Every time we dine in this fabulous restaurant, we have a fantastic dining experience. From the beginning with the poppadoms and the amazing pickle tray to the starters and extensive mains. Finally, even an ice cream menu for those with a sweet tooth. Something for all tastes and dietary requirements. Definitely back soon to enjoy it all over again. Thanks guys x

Wish there were 10 stars for service. Thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The service was great. The kids had a guided ghost tour of the oldest building in kippax, they were mesmerised. Thank you.
