The service here was top tier, staff were friendly and it wasnt a long wait to get my food, the fish pakoras were fresh and crispy and the chicken tikka was 10/10, overall a pleasure spending money on food here and well worth it Would go back again 100%

Me and my wife and a couple of good friends had a lovely meal here. The food was Fantastic we all enjoyed the starter .The service from the staff was also first class, no rush nice and steady so we enjoyed our meal. The main course also top notch . All in all very happy with the Scarborough tandoori. I would definitely return without doubt. Can't recommend enough 10 out of 10 . Also the meal was not expensive quality and a great price. We were staying in Cayton bay and decided to go out for our evening meal ,we looked online and came up with a few names but we chose Scarborough tandoori ,and we weren't disappointed!! 😋😋It's is a very modern contemporary restaurant that looked very Nice as we walked in and we were greeted by a gentleman welcoming us to the Resturant , he showed us to our table and he asked would we like drinks nks to be ordered ,we both had lager with choices of several for an brews we chose Cobra and it was very good , we chose our meals from an extensive menu we shared our mixed kebab starter came with salad garni that was very enjoyable as was our freshly cooked shami ,shish ,chicken & lamb all was very tasty popadums was an excellent start , my husband chose a Chicken Balti I have issues with spicy food so I chose butter chicken both shared a pilau rice and keema naan, we thoroughly enjoyed our night at Scarborough tandoori and would recommend this classy Resturant with polite staff and gorgeous food

Had a lovely meal, clean restaurant and nice staff, very relaxing atmosphere, some reviews say it's expensive but you get what you pay for nowadays.

My go to local place to eat, great staff and food. Definitely recommend a visit. Go and enjoy! Been loads of times and always had good food and service.

Me and my partner visited here as part of our weekend getaway to Scarborough. Like my title, the place and service was excellent. Unfortunately my curry dish (Chicken Tikka Masala) was very average. It was quite bland. The garlic naan bread was very nice though. My partner said her Chicken Korma was nice.

Fantastic- very clean restaurant, friendly staff and attentive, efficient service, the tikka masala was absolutely Devine and I thought the bill was very reasonably priced. £51 for 2 mains, 3 sides, 3 drinks + poppadoms and pickle trays. Can’t believe we have never visited before being fairly local, but we will definitely be back!

I used to love going to this place years ago, was always an end of night place to go. Haven't been for a while, so we decided to try. The place was busy and nicely decorated. Staff were professional and friendly. The food was very bland. Not a lot of flavour to the two dishes we had. Garlic naan was pretty poor. Will be a while till we go again unfortunately.

Another fabulous meal at Scarborough Tandori last night. This is our favourite restaurant in town and as locals we took our friends this time who had not been before and they loved it. I booked ahead to secure a table as a Saturday night is always very busy with both locals and visitors. I wanted a particular table and called the day before to secure it, yet the previous customers were still there on the night, the manager (from the restaurant in Bridlington) was excellent and kept me informed and up to date on the situation while we waited. We were offered drinks while sitting waiting - exceptional customer service. Food was fabulous as always and the waiting staff timed each course well. Staff always charming and efficient in here, nothing is too much trouble. The perfect restaurant - wonderful food and fabulous staff - what a combination. Book and see for yourself.

We enjoyed our evening meal here last night, we came to Scarborough for one night and looked for a good restaurant on here. This was our choice and we were not disappointed, the staff were friendly and wanted to make sure that we enjoyed our food. My husband said that this is the best curry he has ever had. Pros, staff very friendly and efficient, restaurant spotlessly clean. Cons, the blandest curry I've ever had, mixed meat tandoori consisted of one cube of lamb and what I can only describe as the chicken you get vac packed in the supermarket. Sauce was a very insipid orange colour with absolutely no taste or spice whatsoever. My wife's dish was some sort of white fish which again was tasteless and very bland, when asked what sort of fish it was the waiter didn't know. Very small dish of rice which again had no taste. Kitchen sent 4 cubes of chicken as some sort of consolation which tasted slightly better. Overall poor value for money (£16 for the mixed tandoori) and definitely won't be returning.

Me, and my boss, had a brilliant meal on Thursday 18/1/24. I had the best chicken pathia and naan bread in all the restaurants i have visited throughout the UK. Totally recommend this restaurant and the people are so respectful. Well done guys and we will be back!

Fabulous Indian, nothing was too much trouble and the food was delicious. I had the chicken shashlik which was perfectly cooked. My husband had the chicken balti which he said was one of the best he had eaten. Lovely thin Nan……..again cooked to perfection. The staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend

This restaurant is out of this world! From the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out, everything was perfect! The staff are so professional, attentive and friendly, they could not do enough for us. The food is amazing The restaurant itself is so modern and spotlessly clean.! Really enjoyed the experience. Staff were friendly and efficient. We ordered three main courses including the Tandoori Mixed Grill and three different naan breads after being recommended by McGinty's Pub. The Naans were divine. Some of the lamb on the mixed grill was slightly chewy, but nothing to stop it being enjoyable. All dishes were very tasty and a step up from the standard Indian. We saw the family naan being served to another table and wished we had room for that as well.

Great food, Great service and lovely atmosphere. Four of us had a mixture of staters, curry, rice and breads. All were excellent quality.

The atmosphere and service here are really good, and can accommodate large groups if necessary. The food, however, wasn't great, with the veggie dishes being pretty poor and not resembling the dishes you enjoy in more authentic restaurants. I would say they seem to cater to the classic "English taste", with a relative lack of flavour/spices that you want from south Asian foods. If you're more of a picky eater or prefer less spicy or less flavoursome food then this might be perfect for you. I would also say the flat breads aren't great, as they seem to focus on the naan only - sorry if you prefer roti or chapati

Went here for a meal last night, booked ahead as I know how busy they can get on Saturdays. We'd been a few years back and it was delicious. So recommended to friends this time, Wasn't what I expected, the service was shocking no manners, just rushed food to us and pushed us out. I understood they were busy but politeness was another thing. The food wasn't over that good this time round (not sure if changed hands or chef) , the lamb on one of the dishes was so chewy you couldn't put your knife though it, looked as though it was just warmed up. Told a waiter about the problem and he didn't batter an eyelid, didn't seem interested in changing it. Just walked of. No discount on the bill. Was quite pricy for what we ordered on 4 people. Not sure if we will be going again as this is a put of.

What a fantastic place, I dined here with my family (12 of us) last night for my 30th Birthday meal. The food was just out of this world and tasted great, everything was piping hot and you could tell it was all cooked from fresh; we could not fault one single thing. The service was impeccable all of the staff were lovely and most helpful! Lovely decor and designed well, and a nice clean feel about the place. Surprised at the good reviews on here. We we went in and saw that the place was quite busy, so that was encouraging. But a disappointing experience. The food was very ordinary….. No better than takeaway standard and had barely any kick or spice and...

Clean, friendly and efficient but best of all the food was delicious. Both of us (one vegetarian) left empty plates. Definitely go again.

A friend and I visited last minute without booking around 1800 on a Saturday. Squeezed us in, very polite staff, the beer on tap was nice (I usually stick to bottles) everywhere was clean tidy and presentable staff were attentive. The food was really good, I’m a fussy sod and know what I want and it did not disappoint. It was also quick, two main, rice, chips, two chapati’s and two pints of cobra we were in and out in 30 mins! On top of all that, I had to specify I had a nut allergy and it was received in a way that made you feel reassured, that young man that bought the food to the table also expressed again that this curry had not been near any nuts etc. Also food was well priced. What more can you want? Thanks very much!
