Took almost 2 hours for delivery, no apology given. Food virtually cold on arrival.

Fresh hot Indian meal, didn’t expect it in Scarborough, to our surprise it was great. Staff was good at the service and informed well about the menu

We ate out as a family of four - three adults and a seven year old. From our arrival, the gentleman looking after us was so lovely. All the food was fabulous and quite frankly it was the nicest food we have had in a long time - absolutely spot on! Lovely, comfortable, clean restaurant with lovely staff and stunning food- we'll be back next time we're in Scarborough and have already recommended it!

Really disappointed with the takeaway. Chicken tikka was very tough , we couldn't eat it it was that bad . Samosas were cold in the middle too. I reviewed TripAdvisor beforehand too. Mark

Very tasty food, good service with friendly staff. We really enjoyed our meal, nothing to complain about. Poppadoms, 2 mains, 2 sides and 3 drinks for less than 50 quid. We came away full and content.

A midweek visit, a warm welcoming meet and greet. A lovely well presented meal for all 4 of us. Washed down with a couple of pints of Cobra. Complimentary brandy and Bailey's, a nice touch.

Booked a table online for Saturday evening..we should not have bothered. Arrived and were shown to a table without asking about any booking! This is a bog standard Indian Restaurant. No bottled cobra tiger or peroni beers.. only Authentic Indian Budweiser! on a Saturday night!! Obviously missed the cash and carry. Food was fine service pleasant.. lacking atmosphere.Wont live long in the memory.

Visited Scarborough for a second time for a two night break. Found Tika Tika Indian Restaurant on our first visit to Scarborough 2 years ago. We went both nights we stayed then and we have been both nights just now. Fantastic food, lovley staff. Cannot fault our experience. Great value for money. We had the set meal for two. We would definitely recommend and will be visiting again for sure.

Booked online as visitors to Scarborough due to great reviews. Service/Staff excellent, unfortunately environment is not a relaxing restaurant and more like a cafe experience with bright white lights and the tables and chairs , crockery and paper napkins are not what you would expect in a restaurant.. Onion bahjis delicious and fresh, lamb chops in tasty onion tandoori sauce though lots of onion and 2 very very tiny lamb chops, not worth the money of £7.95!!! Chana pathia extremely sweet and sadly not spicy, so very little eaten. chilli chicken very tender and tasty. Would only recommend as a quick cafe meal

We come here regularly and can honestly say this is the best Indian in Scarborough!! Authentic, incredible tasting food, very friendly staff, Mohammed is fantastic and always greets us, outstanding service every time. The garlic chilli chicken truly is something else if you like a bit of spice. My friend who doesn't like spice likes to get the butter chicken or the makhani which also tastes beautiful. Paired with a naan bread, some rice and a few naans you cant go wrong. Coming from a Scarborough local whose tried them all, can definitely say this is the place to go. Fantastic atmosphere and service every time, but most of all the quality of food is to die for!

One of the best curries I have ever eaten, so much so we went twice whilst in the area for the week.

On holiday and we wanted a family Curry Night. After searching the Internet we landed on Tika Tika... and so glad we did. Ordered over the phone for delivery at Cayton Bay Holiday Park. They were on time, the food was hot and the sides and main meals were delicious. Highly recommended 👌

The lovely meal we had at tikka tikka restaurant on Friday night 13/10/23, the starter we shared, I had the duck reazzlah and my hubby had a fish curry which he said was brilliant... Well done to you all and we will be back in December.

What a little gem, our first visit and certainly won’t be our last. Every dish was absolutely delicious. Naan bread was the best I’ve ever eaten. We went for the set menu which has an abundance of choice and was plentiful. The restaurant is immaculate and the service was brilliant, we will definitely be returning.

This restaurant had good reviews but our experience was the opposite. There were four of us in our party and we all had different meals. Each of them was greasy and the chicken was overcooked and old. We have eaten Indian food all over the world and I think we know what chicken Tikka is. When I mentioned it to the waiter he said he would speak to the chef. Not another word was mentioned and no offer of a replacement dish. I Would Stay clear of this place. Warm beer and bad food!!

A little disappointed after reading the reviews. Found all flood to be very oily and not the authentic Spivey tastes that you usually get from Indian food.

I've been here before many years ago and finally returned on a lads weekend. Absolutely superb. 4 of us went towards the end of the evening and there was no problem with them seating us without a booking. We went for the set meal for 4 - an absolute bargain at £72 (£52 if take-away). Any 4 starters, 4 mains, 2 naans, 2 rice and 2 sides. Nothing prepared us for the amount of food that arrived. The portion sizes are HUGE!!! It could easily have fed a table of 6. I knew after eating the starter that I was not going be able to eat much else and so it was proven. had it bagged up and it has done me for another two meals! Superb quality and value. Highly recommend.

5 of us had a starters and meal here the starter was very nice we have no complaints about these but two of us had meals which where order hot which where vinadloo and nagga. The lamb was lovely but it seemed they added more hot spices. These two meals seemed like fal . The other meals we had seemed the same too hot for what was ordered. We do eat alot of curries and do know what these should taste like but due to us being the only people in the places it seemed they wanted us out of the place has quickly as possible. We all left most of our main meal due to taste and not enjoying the meals ordered. We would not return to this place again very disappointing.

Ordered a takeaway whilst on holiday in the area. Fabulous food at very reasonable prices. We both had our usual menu choices (chicken rogan josh and butter chicken) but the food was far superior to what we are used to. Very fresh tasting and plentiful. Staff were fantastic too.

Superb food and service, friendly staff to boot. My partner said it was the best lamb balti he had ever tasted, so succulent and plenty of it too. My prawn madras was beautiful and authentic. Our daughter loved her chicken tikka masala too. Highly recommend, if we weren't here holidaying this would be our 'go to restaurant' for sure!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is one of the worst ever Indian food I have ever had. Ordered through their website and called to check an hour and half later for update on delivery. They “missed” the order. Then 45 minutes later food was delivered. I was not ready for what’s to come next. The food, excluding the pappad (impossible to ruin it) was one of the worst ever I have ever had. No, it’s the worst we all have ever had. None of us took more than 2 bites of anything that we ordered. I wouldn’t recommend this place to even my worst enemy. This is a war crime on your taste buds. If you like Indian food, AVOID IT!!!

Ordered online, paid my money then drove 20 minutes to the place only to find out it was shut! Took 3 days to get my money back, later realised they'd emailed me whilst I was driving to let me know they'd cancelled my order, like I would check my emails when I'm driving??? Suggestion: If you're shut (for whatever reason or excuse you want to give) DON'T TAKE ONLINE ORDERS and people's money!

We were staying in the area, and we were walking around to see the best place to enjoy a meal. We passed many places and we're so glad we didn't pass this restaurant. We had the set meal for 2. The restaurant is lovely and clean. The food was outstanding We both had the mixed kebab starter. We both enjoyed some of the best food we have ever had. The service was perfect. The waiters are attentive but not overpowering. The value for money was amazing. We will recommend and most definitely return in the future. Disgusting food ever. Chicken makhani was nothing like what menu said. Mattar paneer with no green peas and had chick peas in it. They do not accept that cook have no idea about authentic Indian food. Called to ask where food was as it was over 2 hours, was told it had been delivered to a different address. When I called I was questioned several times about the address and that we must have given the wrong address. It was the correct address, correct flat number, road name and post code. So much time had passed it had gone well past a reasonable time to eat (10pm, ordered at 8.10pm). I did receive a refund but that was not the point.

Today we ordered chicken masala at 10 o'clock but the taste was so bad I would rate the food 0/10. I couldn't even eat it 4 bites the chapati was so expensive even though I would not pay 30p for it but instead of it we paid 1.50 per chapati .We have wasted our money on ordering from here It's a completely bad experience though it was our first time from your restaurant.

The worst experience ever, I’ve no idea how this restaurant has 4.3 rating and good reviews but if you’re looking out for an authentic Indian restaurant please don’t trust these reviews as my birthday dinner was spoiled because of these reviews and I’m so sorry to say the quantity which they give in takeaway is not even enough for two people and the meal was meant to be for 4 people… I mean everything was sweet and had sugar in it. Visited here on our weekend away. The service was excellent. Everything was served on time as expected. The food was lovely and we really enjoyed it although it wasn't as spicy as we would have expected for the dishes we had ordered. Having said this I would definitely return for another meal.

Visited Sunday 9th April 2023, early evening. Table booked for 7pm, table was ready and the place was busy, quite a few families eating which made the place fairly noisy; however, by 8:30 it was surprisingly quiet. I'd recommend eating later if you're after a quiet meal. Food was good, although I'll admit we're spoilt in Derby as we have an abundance of Indian and Bangladeshi restaurants. The staff were all polite and friendly but professional and service was quick despite how busy it was. Prices were good to be honest. Complementary drinks is a nice touch and a great way to get repeat customers.
