We have been a few times here and the staff are lovely, the food is great. Always a fav of ours.

Still waiting for food to be delivered called restaurant and said it’s out for delivery

ordered alot of items and was happy with 40 % off deal but the food was terrible not sure if uts new chef ??? every meal apart from the 3 tikka masalas was bland and had zero taste really disappointed and most went in the bin unfortunately

Absolutely love this little gem. Wish you had a place in Whitby because I would have Indian food more often. I love this restaurant so much. Great choice on the menu, highly recommend you to anyone looking for great food at a reasonable price.

Twice now they have left items off my order so they won’t be getting a 3rd chance.

La comida era deliciosa y llegó caliente, no luke cálido como un montón de otros lugares que he estado también. El lugar estaba muy limpio y tenía un ambiente encantador. We went here for my birthday. The service, food and atmosphere were all 5*. They really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The food was out of this world. We are both vegetarian and found plenty of dishes available.

half of my madras was leaked all over the bag badly stacked trays caused the tray to open. Tray containing madras was barely half full.

I have always enjoyed the food here. However as a vegan I don’t appreciate meat in my food, thank you very much! I won’t be ordering again.

Food arrived cold. Had to throw it away then to be told by Just eat that a refund for cold isn’t given. The delivery was nearly an hour wait I won’t be using the restaurant or just eat again.

The delivery driver the last couple of times is an absolute gem. Cannot fault him. I don’t know his name but he’s absolutely brilliant…Thank you

order time was amended for the arrival, which i understand given the weather. waited another hour, no food to ring up to be told 5/10 mintues.. fine. Another hour ring back up to be told delivery divers tried to deliver but was shouted at ... didnt even try and attempt delivery and to be told hes gone home, with my food. The guys on the food have now had to make the order completely fresh and delivering himself, 2 1/2 hours after originally ordering.

Well, they were quick! Suspiciously quick. How can you properly prepare a meal and then deliver it in twenty minutes? I think that’s the worst curry I’ve ever had. Overcooked with chewy meat. Barely edible.

I think some of the recipes have changes. I had chicken tikka masala, one if my favorites, but it was a bit sweet. My friends had several other dishes with sauces and theirs too were on the sweet side. My other friends had various curries and theirs were delicious. All in all, we had ample portions, the meats were tender and juicy and service was lovely from very hospital staff. Will return again.

On holiday with family, including my mum at 85. We checked the menu online, and noticed 15% discount if the spend was over £25. So, we rang up to order. We placed £60 worth of food, to be told that it was £75, so tried to overcharge us from the start. When we pointed this out, and the advertised 15% discount, the guy on the phone said he needed to ring his boss to see what discount he could offer! If you are advertising 15% off, then it’s 15% off. So we asked if we could order a Jalfrezi, but no chilli, and could he make it mild for my mum. He said that was no problem at all. When the curry arrived, it was as hot, if not hotter than my madras. Needless to say, my mum couldn’t eat it. The creamed mushrooms she ordered were in a disgusting sauce that was sweet. Never have I had sweet garlic mushrooms. So, she went hungry, and her food in the bin. I called the takeaway to complain, upon which I was told that they never said they could do a mild curry for her, effectively calling me a liar. He then told me that a jalfrezi IS a madras, and that’s why it was spicy. I’m no expert, but a jalfrezi certainly ISN’T a madras. By this time it was 11:30pm, (due to the fact no-one answered the phone for 30 mins - what a surprise), and as such, his offer of a replacement curry couldn’t be taken. As the curry was effectively not as ordered, I asked for a refund instead - £6. I even offered to return the uneaten curry. Answer: we don’t give refunds. On the website, they claim you will notice a major difference when you try their dishes. Well this is certainly true, just not in the way they mean. Please, if you are on holiday in Scarborough, avoid this establishment at all costs. There are plenty of others to choose from. Questionable food quality, staff that don’t seem to know what they are doing and unscrupulous business practices mean you’ll not only be disappointed, but ripped off at the same time. If this is how they treat their customers, then they deserve no business at all. Essentially a sham operation at best.

Very disappointing.. the popadoms were stale. They forgot half of the ingredients for the pickle trays we ordered and so they re delivered more popadoms and pickle tray to be fair to them.. however the delivery was already late by 25 mins and it took another hour for the re delivery and so by that time we were all past it! The butter chicken was very poor and the sauce was like milk.. we have ordered from here many times but tonight was a big disappointment and so that’s the last time for us..

Very disappointing. The popadoms were stale, they forgot some of the ingredients for the pickle trays. They did re deliver more popadoms and pickle trays but that took a another hour and so by that time we were past it! We didn’t end up sitting down for our meal until 22:30!! This used to be my favourite Indian, have ordered from here so many times, but the past two times I have ordered the creamy dishes (saag ponier) and another one which was a creamy vegetable curry have tasted really strange… to the point where I couldn’t eat it! Something tasted off… So I am really gutted!

I am disgusted by this company, I placed my order in advance, about 4.30 ish for delivery for 7pm.I am staying at a campsite and with this been on just eat was ideal. we are in a camping pod which a 10 min walk to reception. at 18.57 got a message saying food delayed till 7.20 then I got a call asking me to pay extra £3 for delivery, when it arrives, to which I said not a chance, not only was my food 25 mins late, he wanted extra too. food came 7. 25 cold, not even warm, I want to write more

Food was nice but delivered late. Updated Just Eat status incorrectly then said it was automatic updates when I rang them. Then no rice and 2 chapatis short delivered. Don’t treat your customers as idiots. Just tell the truth. They’ll be happy to wait if you’ve made a mistake

Not very good this time. Some of the food was just warm, some cold. Lots of egg shell in the omelette which could have caused injury. Delivery time good.

Not had a problem before but food was 40 minutes late and was cold so had to be reheated. Phoned at 30 minutes late but didn’t really get an explanation. Not good this time. Food is good but had to mark down for poor service and cold food.

The order arrived very late and the chicken in the mixed grill was not cooked enough, it was pink and wet texture.

Food was delicious but delivery time was disappointing. Order was placed at 7.22pm and initial indication was 35-50 minute delivery time. Then notification suggested food would be delivered at 8.05pm. This was then amended to 8.05-8.20pm. Food finally arrived at 8.45pm.

Wouldn't recommend going there, you will be surprised when paying the bill at the end with additional charges. Biriyani was great. Mango lassie was like sweet syrup, nothing tasted mango flavour.

Visited on our trip to Scarborough.. we was really impressed. We had mixed starter, the chicken tikka massala, chicken bhuna, rice, chips and naan. Every bit of our meal was tasty, well coked and moreish. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for such a delicious meal.

A warm friendly greeting with a big smile is critical and thats exactly what we received on arrival. I have been before however not for a couple of years....had standards slipped? Absolutely not and l really needn't have worried....the waiters were warm and friendly and so obliging.....first class. The food ?? Just fabulous....exquisite tastes in all the dishes. Really fabulous Indian, my partner Andy and I enjoy going often. The food is always excellent, portions are over generous, recommendations are spot on, as is their service, hospitality and attention to detail.

The food is amazing. Had a chicken Kurai. And it was very succulent chicken. The portion sizes are huge. Well worth the money. The staff are lovely and welcoming

Offered discount on JustEat, than phoned after ordering and asked to pay the difference. Won't be ordering from here again.

Wish a looked at the reviews because this food is abysmal, not only was the food cold the curry was watery and the chicken just doesn't taste right, nana bread was rockhard... the rice was alright but i've thrown the food. Safe your money go else where

I’m utterly disappointed, this restaurant has the stamp reward card on this app however when it came to claim it they called me and told that it’s invalid and I would have to pay the £13.59 reward I had received before I could have my food, which they hadn’t even started cooking when I turned up to collect. Please advise what can be done as this is not on, false advertising!

We ate here around 10 years ago and food was fantastic. We have just returned to Scarborough for a holiday and had to try it again. What a fantastic experience we had second time around. Service was fantastic and staff are warm and friendly. Food came in great time and we were all extremely satisfied with the quality of food. Our starters, curries and nan bread were delicious we would highly recommend this restaurant for the quality of service and the food alone but then the prices blew us away. They have a half price special on 2 days a week and we ended up with a bill for £51. This included 3 pints of cobra lager a pint of coke, 3 starters,2 curries, 2 rice, 2 chips and a garlic naan. Absolutely unbelievably cheap price, thanks for a great evening and we will see you again.
