Had to reheat the food! Not what you expect when you order in. Guess it’s because it was so late. Food was nice when it was heated up. Saying that, won’t be ordering from here again!

Amazing food and great service! The naan was soft and fluffy, perfect with the rich, flavorful chicken curry. The Tandoori Shashlik was sizzling hot, smoky, and packed with spice. A fantastic spot for authentic Indian cuisine—highly recommended!

JUST RECIEVED THE FOOD. WOST INDIAN FOOD YOU CAN EVER HAVE. No spice at all, masala paneer tastes like sweet tomato sauce pury, Nobody can be soo wrong with dishes. The bread was good though.

Food never showed up, after over 2 and half hours wait. Rang 50 mins ago and was told the driver set off left '5-10 minutes ago'. Ended requesting a refund and won't bother with this one again.

Best place for Indian food in York. Period.

Only ever ordered takeaway from here, but the curries are delicious! Good enough to make me want to sit in the actual restaurant and enjoy what looks like a cosy dining experience one day.

So I ordered at about 6:40pm , said the food had been delivered at 8pm I had received nothing and also providing the driver needed a code from me , I ring up the restaurant he tells me it will be 5 minutes or so , 20 minutes pass I ring up again he tells me slow driving because of the rain , I’ve now waited until 9pm still nothing , submitted a refund , abit rude on the phone like he just wanted to get off the phone won’t be ordering from here again

Environment and staff were nice. Food wasn’t very nice and I was quite ill when I got home. We won’t be going back!

Over 45 minutes late. Food was below average - onion bhaji tasted stale, very dry chicken in every dish, flakey naan bread that was stone cold and paneer that was tangy. Really disappointing.

I ordered a butter chicken but I was disappointed as the dish wash really quite watery and not a lot of taste to it (probably due to it being watery).

I ordered mid afternoon requesting a 1815 delivery. I received confirmation of the order at 1705, but the delivery quotes moved to 1830 and when I queried where my order was at 1845 I was told the delivery wouldn’t be until 1915 with no explanation.

Ordered food for delivery, direct from their web site. It arrived in a timely manner however, 2 items missing. Phoned them to let them know and they apologised and said they'd send them straight out. Get a phone call 10 minutes later apologising that they had missed 2 items and would be sending them out again. Fair enough, neither hand knows what the other one is doing. It happens. Food arrives. They've sent 1 of the 2 missing items. Give up. The other food is now cold. Wont bother ordering again from them. There are other restaurants

Gorgeous food and lovely delivery man

We have takeaway and eaten in the restaurant many times. The food is always good, but I have to leave this review this evening because of the delivery drivers unbelievable behaviour during a delivery. He was quite simply hammering my front door down, woke up my son and my dog went berserk. He did not give me time to answer the door and continued to pound my front door like you wouldn’t believe. Both my neighbours came out to check what was going on - it was that loud! I told him it was not ok and he did apologise and blamed it on the cars behind him beeping due to him pulling up on double yellow. Must admit that although we enjoyed the food, his behaviour has put a bad taste in my mouth and I am still upset by it. Not acceptable.

The lamb was very chewy but the curry was really nice. The keema nan had no meat in and was rock hard. Need to up there game

Ordered a vegetable curry as a vegetarian and they put chicken in it! When I called they argued and said that’s how it comes. A health inspection needs to happen here immediately

Late, cold and to cap it off, vegetarian dish had a big chunk of chicken in it. When I called, I was told that it was a chicken dish and I shouldn’t have ordered it if I didn’t want chicken - being vegetarian for almost 16 years, I know how to get to the veggie section of any menu and this is 100% not advertised as a chicken dish. Went round in circles on the phone, and was refused a refund.

The food arrived much faster than expected. It was hot and fresh. I ordered a lamb afghani and it was delicious. My only slight issue was the garlic naan bread which was a bit tough and chewy. Having said that, the main thing was the curry and that was delicious. Big chunks of meat too.

Unfortunately the food had no taste at all, the vegetable samosas were filled with what I can only describe as vegetable puree. Usually the food from here is good but I couldn’t finish my meal. Very poor.

Our first time ordering from you and we are happy with the food! One small thing that we ordered paneer pakoras and got spicy paneer instead - still tasted great though 😀

Llegó la comida y en cuanto vi el color y el goteo supe que iba a ser asqueroso. Los langostinos sabían a goma, la korma parecía que se había congelado. El keema de las madras era toda salsa. Impactante. Los panes naan estaban empapados. He desperdiciado mi bien ganado dinero en basura. Lo único bueno era el arroz con champiñones que estaba golpeando. Nunca más.

cannot rate this meal high enough , we are curry lovers and have had curries all over the UK, this was hands down the best curry we've ever had and it was a takeaway! so fresh , cannot fault any of our meal. sad we don't live here to order more or visit the restaurant.

The dish I ordered a special is supposed to be lamb chicken prawn and mushroom, there is no lamb and no mushroom and the king prawns are small tough over cooked prawns the dish is way over spiced and filled out with huge chunks of green pepper and onion and the chicken has a strange texture like it has been boiled and thrown in. Not the usual standards we get when we regularly use the restaurant to eat in.

Comida tradicional y muy agradable. ¡Mucha salsa con todos los platos, así que vale la pena conseguir naan extra para trapear! Los platos eran bastante suaves, lo que nos vino bien. Entrantes para compartir, bandeja de pepinillo y popadoms, y trabajado a unos 14 £ cada uno.

I’ve been here twice now and was disappointed with the service and food on both occasions. Such a shame because it has a nice atmosphere and the location is so convenient. Hopefully others have a better experience.

If you're after some really good food, either eating in or taking away, this place I hard to beat. I like a spice curry, but most places just pack a load of chillies in, and kill the flavour. Not here. Even with a hot curry, you get the heat AND the flavour, and the flavour is fantastic. However you like your curry, mild, medium, hot, or tongue melting, the taste is phenomenal. Living a fair distance away, I only get to sample this place when visiting friends, buts it well worth the trip. If this place was on my doorstep, I'd probably only leave to go to work.

Enjoyed a birthday meal here with friends and family. Excellent and attentive service, wonderful food and very reasonably priced in today's expensive environment. We had a brilliant night and will definitely be returning.

Really nice food and good service on a Sunday evening. The saag paneer was a triumph. Off licence opposite if you want to bring your own drinks. What more can I say?

Absolutely shocking customer service. I have never been ranted to by a takeaway owner before, until I rang up to see where my food was. Which was 1.5 hrs late. The man shouted and was hugely aggressive to me. All I wanted was my food, not an aggressive rant. I actually felt sorry for the guy as anyone this angry has issues.

Rice, Bajis and Samosas were all great. But the Chicken Tikka Buna was Watery and lacked body and flavour. I couldn't really tell it was a Buna or that the chicken was tikka'd.

We have just had one of the best Indian meals we have had in a long time 😋 we have eaten too much though. It was NOT swimming in oil as we have had in the past from other take aways or to hot so you could not taste the spices. It was just perfect, compliments to the chef. They are a keeper. Thankyou for a lovely meal. Sorry no picture we really did eat it all.

Wow.... where do i begin. Me and the family visited today and i can personally say that i was amazed. From the friendly staff as well as the fast service and the delicious food, this spot is definetly a go to and you will see me more often. Highly recommended

Just moved to a new home and got their menu through the post. After a recommendation from the letting agent, we decided to order after a long day of moving and it was exactly what we needed. Delicious food that arrived quickly. This will become my regular Indian takeaway. Tasty meals and decent serving sizes.
