Busy Friday eve at the curry lounge. It’s a take your own if you want alcohol, soft drinks can be purchased. Unlike if you order a takeout, poppadoms ain’t free. The food came reasonably quick but not wothout error unfortunately. 1 dish was totally incorrect and 3/6 dishes were barely warm. Staff were really helpful and more than happily changed what was wrong, but, it shouldn’t be happening in the first place really. There’s a (dark) car park round the back. Ladies toilets double as a disabled one, god help anyone who is disabled and has to navigate themself into there. This was a return visit, I’ve had better there so was disappointed this time.

Absolutely delicious. Ordered via Uber Eats, arrived fast and hot! Very generous portions. This will be our new curry place going forward. Could not ask for a better experience! We ordered a king prawn korma which was well balanced in the flavours, not too sweet and plenty of coconut. Chicken balti, good amount of heat and very flavourful. Onion bajis had a bit of a kick to them and perfectly cooked.

I had heard good things about this restaurant, so I popped in with the hope they did Balti. I asked before I ordered if they did Balti. I was assured they did. When my “Balti” arrived, I looked at it with disappointment. I needed food and knew I’d have to eat it, but it was such a let down. The dish was overloaded with large onions and peppers. As a Brummie, I know what a balti should look and taste like and this wasn’t it. After shoving most of the onions over to one side of my dish, I ate what was left. As a curry in its own, it was ok. Nothing special. The restaurant was ok, bit small and not very full. Staff were friendly enough. Maybe some other dishes are ok, I don’t know but I will not visit again.

I recommend the fish pakoras and chicken tikka masala, neither of which I'd normally choose when I eat out, but they are really flavourful. Most of the food is great/good, and although a few things aren't to my taste, it's nothing to do with the quality. The staff are always friendly and welcoming.
