Usually nice food from here .. don't know what happened 2, nte .. the potato and cauliflower in me curry was hard . Think they threw it in raw with the curry sauce ..not nice 2 nte .. disappointing 😞😭

Incredible traditional food bursting with amazing flavour. Never been let down by any dish served, and always presented gorgeously. A quintessential of great south Asian food, presented and delivered perfectly.

We went here on New Year's eve, as we were visiting family in the area, and it wasn't too far away from where we were. The food and service was good, but we thought the atmosphere could have been made better with less and softer lighting - it was far too bright and a little music.

Food containers were open and spilled out in the bag. Limited meat and both curries were very thick and lacking flavour

found elastic band in food tried to get InTouch and no response .

Ordered the mixed vegetable vindaloo and potato and cauliflower balti. Very rich flavours and a steady heat. Good delivery time with a selection of dips and poppadoms. With a wide selection of takeaways within walking distance, I would recommend Rajpoot.

Truthfully i won’t order from here again as it just wasn’t the best , the prawns were more shrimp than prawns , and the naan I am 99% sure is store bought. But the delivery was really quick

WOW! this was maybe the best Bhuna ive ever eaten, perfect flavour, perfect ingredients. The lamb melted in the mouth. Arrived 30 mins earlier than eta. 10 out of 10

Went here with my husband poor service for a meal on 24.08.24 i had chicken dopiaza and fried rice, husband had chicken pakora and chips pakora was burnt to a crisp and chips was just like oven chip ended up with food poisoning up all night didnt even have hand wipes at end of meal shocking service and wouldnt be visiting again would rather go to Kurry Kingdom further up the road

Not the best. The paneer starter was burnt. Sheek kebab was bland. Chicken tikka meat was very tough. Corriander was not chopped on naan. Overall, it was very disappointing. Service was ok.

Absolutely love getting rajpoot, they're one of our go-to orders when we need something delicious. Highly recommend the dhansak for a low-spice high-flavour option, and the madras is excellent too. We're veggie and always happy with the options - they do mixed veg and aloo gobi for all curries, and they've got plenty of sides that we love as well, especially the Bombay potatoes. Delivery is always really prompt so everything's still lovely and warm, and it's always consistent in quality and reasonable prices (plus, sometimes there are discounts, which I'll never complain about!). Ordered lots yesterday and looking forward to having leftovers for lunch today! 🥰🥰🥰

We had great food from Rajpoot before so tonight's was rather disappointing. The onion bajhis were tiny and very dry, my wife's butter chicken was very watery and, like my chicken murgh masala, lacking any real taste at all unfortunately. The daal was lovely, the naans okay and the portion of poppadoms generous, but overall this was a real let down.

Ordered through just eat. First time customer. Yes the curry was a bit sauce heavy but still plenty of meat. Full of spice which I've struggled to find elsewhere. Delivery driver was very friendly and gave me a curtesy call when he was on his was. Very impressed and will definitely order again.

This is the best Indian takeaway! Really tasty food. Great portions! Mutton was so tender! Flavoursome and I have been looking for a good Indian for ages! I will always return. Thank you for the extra poppadoms and the extra onion bajis you gave me complimentary!!!

We ordered a meal from Rajpoot last night service was quick & we were pleasantly surprised by the free popadoms & chutneys but the curries & rice were disappointing ordered two different curries both looked & tastes the same more gravy than meat & no pepper’s on either that was stated on the menu rice was bland definitely didn’t taste like pilau rice such a shame when you have ordered for a bank holiday treat

I used to enjoy this place had a awful curry last week thought it was s one off. Now had it again curry nice chips wouldn't feed to my dogs. Popadoms soggy lost a every week customer........had another curry.... back to normal was excellent xxxx

First ate drom the Rajpoot about 40 years ago, the food has always stood out here and always extremely polite service. I eat a lot of Balti from many different places but a lot of newer places try to simplify the sauce too much. When you look and taste Rajpoot balti, you can tell there is a superior depth of fresh herbs and spices. Also you wont beat them on price anywhere, a lot of places charge almost double what they charge. Delivered by a charming polite young lady in a very timely manner. Thumbs up to Rajpoot for retaining its high standards for the last 40 years.

Average and unbelievably expensive. 28 people persuaded to have set meal. Small starter and poor main meal, 1-2 beers each. £63 each !! Unbelievable

Starters were tiny - what I would expect from a supermarket multipack. Baltis & Kormas had little meat in them and portions were very small compared to our usual place. Price....extortionate!!!! 2x korma 2x Balti, poppadoms, 4x naan, 1x basmati rice, 3x starters plus drinks (2 alcoholic and 4 soft) £89 - stunned wasn't the word! Rounded off by a sick child in the night.

The best tandoori and take away restaurant in South Birmingham. A wide choice of beautiful prepared food. A warm welcome from the proprietors. We have been enjoying this restaurant for many years; it goes from strength to strength

Curry was completely bland and watery. Naan had only a quarter with keema meat

it was delivered early, however that wasn't a problem. The food itself was really disappointing. everything was cold & the chips had so much oil. I squeezed them slightly and they were dripping. I did take a photo. A real shame, had food from here before and never been an issue.

Food was good but it took over 2 hours from ordering to arrive when I was given a 45-60 minute estimate which ruined it for me.

Normally the delivery time is quick however I waited 2 hours for the delivery so have to give it a thumbs down imagine waiting 2 hours when normally takes about 40 minutes at the latest no explanation from the delivery person he said he didn't know why it took so long

Just ordered a takeaway from here as normally always order from a different place and my partner fancied a change. Prawn Balti full of oil when it arrived and a couple of frozen bag prawns mixed through.Tikka masala basically sauce with half a chicken breast chopped up. Naan breads all containing hardly any fillings. Wouldn’t recommend a take away from Here.

Firstly,i've ordered from here a few times and it's always been ok but tonights was possibly the worst takeaway i've ever had. If i had been served this in a restaurant, i would of walked out - The madras was like water but blander and had no heat to it - The chips were overcooked and dripping in grease - chicken balti was swimming in grease - Half of my keema naan, didn't have keema meat in it. Maybe it was just a one off, bad experience but its put me off using again.

Some items were missing but Rajpoots rang to explain why the items would be missing and if we wanted to carry on with the order. Food was great can't fault it or the service.

Worst takeaway ever. Everything awfull. Northing like curry dishes. Waist of money. If I tasted curry first time I would never eat curry again. I am pakistany even I can cook better than this. Supermarket take away taste better. Expansive rubish save your money.

Excellent food always hot on arrival used several times never dissapoints

Food wasn't edible to eat the chips were disgusting the nann bread was horrible and the curry horrible really disappointed me and my daughter was. Never had problem here when I used to come in for meal but 1st time delivery I won't order again to not eat and stay hungry because no refund yet.

Last night a large group (14) of us went to the Raj Poot for our Christmas curry. The guy who was delivering the service was way out of his depth on his own. The food came out at different stages. I had eaten my curry/soup before the rice arrived. Naan breads were as hard as the popadoms, the curry was the worst i think I’ve ever had. When I told the waiter it was the worst curry I’d ever had he said “Thank you”…… A flavourless balti which couldn’t have been more from a curry if it tried. Needless to say, myself and half of the group will not be returning.

That was a glorious cuzza. Food is amazing, service was spot on and really nice vibe. Definitely coming back. Thanks

Food was pathetic, Biryani was like fried rice. i would say they are the worst i tasted in Birmingham. Nothing was right... and on top of it packing was like a road side shop. Sorry to say but the restaurant is not worth even any ratings.

Love this restaurant. Been to many Indian restaurants but this is my favourite by far. Been here 3 times with my husband. My husband used to be a regular years ago. The food is always fresh and very tasty. The staff are very welcoming. H the owner is such an amazing friendly man that goes out of his way to make you feel at home. The decor is lovely and clean. The pictures on the wall are personal to the family and very interesting. I would highly recommend. Very reasonable with the pricing too

First time ordering from this place after reading their reviews. The mutton Balti was fingeliicking , but found the chicken tikka masala a bit sweet for my liking. Everything else was spot on! Generous portions and the 20% off on orders over £20 was handy! The food came on time and it was delicious. 10/10 from me. Will order again.

nice fresh food and always no need to reheat

Prawn Puri was cooked to perfection , right texture chapati , could taste the flavor's in the sauce , and prawns were nice not hard after being cooked like some I have eaten else were in the past . I'm a chef and love my food to the point , if its not cooked properly I will most defiantly not eat it . The starter was delicious . Unfortunately was shattered after long drive in the day , not had the delight to eat the mains yet . But if they are anything to go by the starter, cannot wait to eat it later . The delivery driver was on time great service . Very happy with Rajpoot will order from them again . Thankyou for the nice food Rajpoot %-) I'm so confident after eating the starter the main will be delicious was very nice .

The best balti restaurant in Birmingham. We have been enjoying Raj Pot’s food for decades. It goes from strength to strength. A warm welcome, excellent service and a varied menu. Great for an evening out or a celebration.

Order meal for delivery at 6.15 still not received at 8.35 called restaurant several times on the 2 occasions they answer said driver on way these both 40 mins apart told only had 2 drop my delivery arrived at 8.40 in a taxi cold , never use them awful service

We were visiting Bournville and called in because the restaurant had the best appearance of those we passed on a n evening walk. Particularly noticed the cloth napkins on the tables - always a good sign. Excellent meal, friendly helpful service and very good value. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Home delivery arrived on time as usual. The food is fantastic and the staff are always friendly . Try them - you cant go wrong.
