we used to visit here before heard it was under new management and decided we would try a takeaway and I can honestly say it was awful and extremely expensive we had poppadom one main one side a rice and two naan a t a cost of £30 - I did wonder when my husband told me the price if the bill was calculated correctly and to top it all off the food was very disappointing oily and bland . i would certainly not recommend this establishment at all fir quality or value

I have been visiting this restaurant for 30 years and Joseph and his team have always been brilliant. I always had “balti chicken tikka rognee saucy” which isn’t on the menu. Always perfect. Sadly Joseph has retired and sold up so I won’t be able to go back to my fave restaurant. It’s now closed. I want to wish Joe and his team all the best. Martin F

Went first time for a family weekend dining based on reviews provided but it was utter disappointment. No proper cutlery served we had to ask twice, drinking glasses felt not properly dishwashed - stain and marks on the glass , soft drinks ordered without ice was completely warm no even refrigerated. Meat platter Starters ordered were just lightly lukewarm not even piping hot and was very dry served without chutney which is not a common gesture. I was hugely disappointed for my spending on not to the mark expectations...

Went here with my girlfriend and we decided to have some Indian street food and bubble tea after a University open day Fantastic service, a lovely young woman served us and the food was served in 20 mins. We had Keema Chicken wrap, a Saag Paneer pitta and masala fries. Very nice taste, spiced greatly and the bubble tea was very nice. Authentically made! Wish they had a bathroom though. Will be returning very soon! Thanks guys :)))

We ordered a delivery for breakfast. Parethas and paneer samosas. We were very impressed with the way the food was packed. It arrived in a sealed box and all of the individual items were also labelled. That said all the food was very authentic and not greasy at all. We look forward to trying their other dishes too.

Ordered from this place but will never do so again. I paid £12 for a prawn tikka main meal and when it came there were just 3 prawns in the tub... Works out to £4 PER PRAWN!! When I called the restaurant they just said this is what they charge for the dish and there's nothing they can do about it. An absolute disgrace. You have been warned that this place is only there to rip you guys off.. Order elsewhere if you want a PROPER meal to arrive after you've spent your hard earned money.

Busy Friday eve at the curry lounge. It’s a take your own if you want alcohol, soft drinks can be purchased. Unlike if you order a takeout, poppadoms ain’t free. The food came reasonably quick but not wothout error unfortunately. 1 dish was totally incorrect and 3/6 dishes were barely warm. Staff were really helpful and more than happily changed what was wrong, but, it shouldn’t be happening in the first place really. There’s a (dark) car park round the back. Ladies toilets double as a disabled one, god help anyone who is disabled and has to navigate themself into there. This was a return visit, I’ve had better there so was disappointed this time.
