Ordered from this place but will never do so again. I paid £12 for a prawn tikka main meal and when it came there were just 3 prawns in the tub... Works out to £4 PER PRAWN!! When I called the restaurant they just said this is what they charge for the dish and there's nothing they can do about it. An absolute disgrace. You have been warned that this place is only there to rip you guys off.. Order elsewhere if you want a PROPER meal to arrive after you've spent your hard earned money.

Recommended by a relation, and I have to say a very pleasant change to the eating places on Dudley Rd. A real gem of a find. Have been several times now, so review based on overview, and each time the dishes are delicious and authentic. The staff are very welcoming & friendly. A big thank you to Taran, Manpreet and the kitchen staff of course, for the consistent excellent service & tasty dishes. Well done, and long may you continue.

First visit to Tikka Tavern following a recommendation from a friend. Free parking available on Pinfold Street by the venue. We were welcomed by a friendly member of staff and seated straight away. Our order was taken straight away and we were asked how spicy we would like our food. We settled for medium. Our drinks came out first and then our food. We had mooli paratha and aloo parathas. My Karak chai had gone cold by the time the food came so my only suggestion would be for warm drinks to be bought out with the food. It’s personal choice but I like having my hot tea alongside a paratha. The food and drinks were delicious, we were given a complementary chaat dish, this was delicious too. The venue has a function room upstairs, a bar and a single ladies toilet (which was clean and modern) and a separate gents toilets. Staff were friendly and helpful in person and over the phone when we enquired about hiring the function room later on in the day. There is a wide variety of dishes on offer and our bill was very reasonable . My family and I will definitely be going back.

A fantastic welcomed addition to bilstons sagging social scene. Food is excellent and the welcome you get by the top rate staff is second to none. My wife and I had a brilliant valentines night last night. With a free complimentary drink at the end of the night finished off an excellent evening. We so recommend the tikka tavern to others!

The food was amazing, and the service was great. The staff were really good asking if we wanted more drinks or anything else. Portions were really good and we were that stuffed we had to bag some up to take home. It was still nice the next day as I'd put the dirty fries and the kebab in the airfryer the next day. Will def be paying another visit.

Great service and a delicious meal. We went there for an office meal on the dinner time. The food was very tasty and one of our friends has had an evening meal there and says that is even better. I would highly recommend!!!

I went to this small but exceptionally nice modern Indian restaurant after a long gym session. The food is of a high standard im terms of both taste and presentation and the same can be said of the service. The staf were very friendly and gave me the best recommendations of what is best to have. I would recommend booking a table in advance because often the restaurant is busy. A busy restaurant is codeword for a good one and this place is no exception to the rule. It's good for a night out with friends and definitely a romantic night out with that special someone

we used to visit here before heard it was under new management and decided we would try a takeaway and I can honestly say it was awful and extremely expensive we had poppadom one main one side a rice and two naan a t a cost of £30 - I did wonder when my husband told me the price if the bill was calculated correctly and to top it all off the food was very disappointing oily and bland . i would certainly not recommend this establishment at all fir quality or value

I have been visiting this restaurant for 30 years and Joseph and his team have always been brilliant. I always had “balti chicken tikka rognee saucy” which isn’t on the menu. Always perfect. Sadly Joseph has retired and sold up so I won’t be able to go back to my fave restaurant. It’s now closed. I want to wish Joe and his team all the best. Martin F

Went first time for a family weekend dining based on reviews provided but it was utter disappointment. No proper cutlery served we had to ask twice, drinking glasses felt not properly dishwashed - stain and marks on the glass , soft drinks ordered without ice was completely warm no even refrigerated. Meat platter Starters ordered were just lightly lukewarm not even piping hot and was very dry served without chutney which is not a common gesture. I was hugely disappointed for my spending on not to the mark expectations...
