Our favourite Indian restaurant in Henley. We always look forward to a night out here whenever we visit. Classic Indian dishes including lots of vegetarian and gluten-free options for me.

Really nice experience. Pleasant welcome good location with parking. No draught beer unfortunately. The food was delicious though. We had chicken madras, tikka masala, butter chicken and chicken korma, vegetable Pilau rice and garlic and keema naan breads. Food was very good. The tikka masala had a flavour of cinnamon, not common, but not unpleasant. The madras was one of the best. The vegetable rice and naan breads were delicious. We asked for tikka in the madras and in the butter chicken, it didn't appear to be tikka in the currys, however, very good food though. Would recommend a visit.

Excellent takeaway, delivered hot to the door. Bengal bites were so delicious as was the chicken jalfrezi and prices are reasonable too

Fantastic food ambiance and staff - we had poppadums with pickles, chicken naga , chicken kerala with lemon rice and sag bhaji - all delicious well spiced - the best Indian we’ve eaten in a while

Despite a good reputation and good trip advisor reviews this restaurant is now shut down and up for sale. This needs to be reflected on trip advisor urgently

Okay I'm front northern india punjabi boy.. I was tipsy on Irish James. ordered from bengoli restaurant called balthi house..food was do old and overdue

Customer service was terrible management was terrible we got there for 6oclock and waited for 2hrs and still no food came out I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone we were treated like aliens that just landed out of space every one else in there who came after us got there food and drinks and left while we were still waiting absolutely disgusting I will never ho there again

The outside suggests this is nothing special, but the food is delicious. Freshly cooked and tastes that way. Service friendly and very efficient. Well worth a visit.

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. First of all, the food was an hour late, which was frustrating. When the food finally arrived, I was shocked to find that the chicken was raw, which is unacceptable. Additionally, the flavors were completely off, and it didn't even resemble what we had ordered. Overall, I was very dissatisfied with the service and the quality of the food. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place to anyone looking for a good dining experience.

Now a small restaurant at the side of a pub in Shipston, I imagine that like us, most people order takeaway food from Chutneys. The starters and mains we ordered were excellent, really tasty and it'll take a few more visits to decide if this is better than the improved Shipston Bengal, which it may well be.

First time but not the last, great food, really friendly welcome and service, nothing else to be said. Would definitely recommend.
