This is the best Indian restaurant in the country. If you are expecting vindaloos and kormas , just go to Alum Rock or Ladypool Road areas. What Opheem does is take Indian spices and flavours and elevate them to the next level. Stunning use of spices and beautiful dishes. The seafood dishes are superb. On arrival you are taken to the bar and are served stunning canapés. We had the 10 course lunch menu and honestly each dosh was a work of art. The scallops were huge and a real highlight. I could not fault any dish. My wife popped in as she had been shopping and they gave her complimentary dessert and she was so happy. No fast turn around on tables so you can spend 3/4/5 hours chilling and enjoying good wine and food. If i lived nearby I would go every week and eat soup the rest of the week to cover the cost

Had such an amazing experience at Raja Monkey yesterday. Didn't think food could taste so good and just really how much more can you make leaks taste this good 👋. The hospitality recieved from staff was exceptionall and i can't wait to go back againd👌. Please give this place a try.

Outstanding and wide space for parking as well

I can’t even explain how awful my experience was. Like someone else previously leaving a review, if I could give 0 I would. Let’s start with timings, it took 2 hours for my food to arrive despite ordering before 6pm on a Saturday. I’m vegetarian and my mixed veg curry basically consisted of peas and sauce - not to mention it was the blandest thing I’ve ever tried. The naan bread was about an inch thick and was too doughy. Would never order from here again.

El servicio y el personal son excelentes: la mejor parte del restaurante, pensamos. TBH, no estábamos muy impresionados con la comida: los bhajis de cebolla eran bastante densos y no muy crujientes, kebab de jeque OK. La red eléctrica estaba, en mi opinión, extrañamente sazonada. Mi Dhal Gosht estaba bien, pero las lentejas estaban seriamente sobrecocinadas. Mi compañero tenía pollo tikka masalla (¿quién sabe por qué?) que era muy dulce. El naan era agradable. Tristemente, nos quedamos preguntándonos por qué había tantas críticas de 5 estrellas, nos pareció un poco ordinario.

Absolutely love the old mo! The pub is so cosy and nice, the food is delicious and fair priced and all of the staff are very friendly.

It was one of the tastiest dishes we had in a while. Both Yasir and Arusha were excellent at providing us with advice and they also gave my husband a wonderful treat for his birthday with the yummy brownie dessert. We will definitely come back. Thank you!

We celebrated my grandsons 2nd Birthday 🥳💙 here and we had a "Wonderful evening!!!" The owner's were very welcoming, the food was 'Amazing" mixed grill, chicken curry, daal, naan, roti and the salad so delicious. Service was great, highly recommend and thankyou ❤️💯 Anisa and family X

Ate here early on a Sunday evening for my partner's 50th birthday and we weren't disappointed. Food and service were top notch! We would highly recommend to friends and will definitely return. A hidden gem!
