Namaste Sutton in Birmingham

We have visited Namaste several times in the past year and can happily say that we have received excellent service, enjoyed excellent food and drink in an extremely pleasant, modern style surroundings all at very reasonable cost. The food portions are plentiful and served piping hot and the style and spice levels remind me of the quality of the old Indian restaurants in Sutton and Birmingham back in the early 70's

(Delivery) Not great worst curry ive had in a long time stear clear, mint sauce was horrible, meat was crap and the currys sauce was underwhelming will not be going here again

What a place ! Staff very friendly especially Sarga Lovely food & cocktails - I had chilli paneer for starter then a vegi balti & lovely garlic & coriander naan. Others had fish, prawns & chicken Definitely going back

First time at Namaste. We had a large table, celebrating a birthday. Great service and delicious food. We will be back again.

We had booked a table and arrived 15 minutes early. The place was very busy, but there was a table for four empty. We were asked to wait. 20 minutes later we were shown to the table that had been empty. We then waited for about 5 minutes before I had to ask a waiter if we could see some menus. We then ordered our meal and starters. 15 minutes later a waiter asked if we were ready for our mains. I said we havent had our starters yet. 10 minutes later we got our starters. Having finished our starters we then waited another 20 minutes for the mains. I asked the waiter to explain what caused the delays, but she never came back with a response. In summary good food but service was appalling, made worse by no explanation or apology.

Great food, fresh, tasty and made with skill and top quality ingredients. We loved the Indo-Asian dishes a fusion of both types of food which were tasty and different. The Sunday 3 course offer is good value for money. Our only grumble was the length of time it took to be served to drinks, starters and mains. It’s clear a lot of Delivey orders were being handled and must have been given priority over ours. The waiting was excessive. If the service had matched the food, it would have been 5 star.

Order a takeaway through just eat, food didn’t arrive staff lied on the phone and took no responsibility for the problem. My wife went down to try and resolve the issue and again they lied to her face

I switched to this restaurant for delivery after being disappointed with a restaurant I have used for years. I have consistently had delicious food from this establishment, tastes clean, well cooked and full of delicious flavour. I will be sticking with them and hope to visit the restaurant soon

After months of being disappointed with several establishments for delivery thought would try a delivery from here after reading so many good reviews. Chicken Madras with Pilau Rice, chicken was tender and succulent and melted in the mouth absolutely delicious. The search for a decent curry is over.

We had the best food, I couldn’t recommend this place enough. This will be our new got to restaurant/takeaway.

Delicious fresh food, staff friendly, nothing too much trouble, they are helpful and welcoming. We have been ordering our weekly on line delivery from Namaste for months and wanted to give the restaurant a try. The dining experience was excellent, we had (fussy) children with us who enjoyed the food, which says it all! We had variety off the menu including spring rolls, a mixed grill, chicken tikka masala, chicken saag and chicken noodles, plus rice, roti’s, naan’s, popadoms, etc. All delicious and generously sized portions. It is a hidden gem, the restaurant provide consistently lovely, fresh food and together with drinks, it is very reasonably priced.

what a great curry. very tasty and full of flavor . we had a chicken balti and Jalfrezi and you could tell it had been cooked properly and not just a soup. These are also big portions so you may not need a starter. A word of warning we experienced both meals being hotter than other curry houses so if you dont want it too hot, tell the waiter when you order.

We tried this restaurant as we noticed it had changed recently and weren't disappointed. It wasn't full when we went but our waiter said you need to book to go there at weekends. They had a well laid out menu with vegetarian/vegan and meat sections for both starters and mains as well as rice, bread and sides. I chose two dishes I haven't seen before the Pani Puri as a starter which was hollow crispy balls which contained small bits of cooked potato and cheese, you pour a mint flavour liquid sauce into the ball and eat whole. It was very tasty and apparently a popular Indian street food. My main was Corn and Paneer kofta in a tomato sauce thickened with ground cashew nuts, very tasty and not too filling. My partner had Onion Bhajis which were well cooked and not greasy and Chicken Jalfrezi which was very well balanced with a spices and fresh ginger. We had a bottle of Merlot to accompany which went down well and there is a full bar service with beers and different wines. The cost was mid range but definitely worth it for the quality of the food and choice available. The restaurant is large and has a range of tables to suit different sized groups. I would definitely recommend if in the Wylde Green area of Sutton Coldfield.

Excellent service. Staff were very friendly and took care of my daughter's gluten allergy with no hassle at all. Lovely ambience and we ordered 4 different starters which each tasting uniquely different. The mains were astonishingly delicious and the portions were unbelievably large.
