Second takeaway from here, tasty, hot and speedy.

We were a small group of three who dined at this restaurant. We had pani puri and a Gurkha lamb for starters and then shared the large sizzling meat mix with an assortment of nans. The food was exceptional and deep in flavour. I really enjoyed everything and I would highly recommend this restaurant. Karki was an exceptional host and looked after our group very well. Would recommend this restaurant, would be suitable for large or small gatherings or birthday parties.

Moved from Solihull centre to Sutton, our final decider to move here was because of Namaste.

Lovely restaurant!Very spacious inside,which I like plus an attractive bar,with seating. Staff welcoming and very helpful including I think the manager and Sunni our lovely waitress. It was a mix of Nepalese and Indian food,all beautifully cooked and presented. As you can see the tandoori chicken was beautifully presented and delicious! Our breads were lovely and my napalese lamb starter,also paneer starter was great. perfectly cooked! Bill a very reasonable 63£ including beers. We will return! Parking good,make sure you register as you enter the restaurant to get a longer stay!

Visited Namaste Sutton on Thursday night and had great experience. The mix sizzling platter was the highlight, perfectly cooked, full of flavours , and great recommendation for sharing. Lovely vegetarian options and desi style curries. The restaurant has warm ambiance and friendly and attentive staff making the evening more enjoyable. A great spot in Sutton Coldfield 15 mins drive from Birmingham city center. Highly recommended!

Average food, but piping hot. The chicken tasted old and we were the first ones through the door, so I reckon we were served the day before's chicken. Hence the fact it was piping hot to prevent food poisoning. Which I didn't get, btw. Quite a bland and heavily blended curry. I wouldn't go here again, as I've tasted much better Indian food elsewhere. The decor's nice. They have a bar. The staff were ok. Not suitable for disabled people, as you need to walk upstairs to get to the restaurant. The toilets also need desperate attention. They were freezing, dated and in very poor condition.

Namaste sutton is the authentic Indian and Nepalese restaurant. The staff is very polite and helpful, serving food with smiling face always. The taste of food is much better than the other restaurants i have tried. Must try chilli paneer and popadum.

Having been recommended this restaurant we decided to give it a try regretted it after ordering and waiting for an hour and a half delivery! When I called they advised that it would be 45 minutes to 50 minutes. For a Saturday night I thought that is fair but after an hour I called and was advised it’s out for delivery but they didn’t know how long it would be, which is really poor customer service as you should have an idea! When it did finally arrive after an hour and a half the popadoms were broken bits of popadoms( not sure if this is what they serve as popadoms) naans were dry and the food taste only alright strong taste of tomato for a tikka which is weird. Had the food been great the wait would have been worth it however it wasn’t.

Had a great evening. Friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere. Not too busy for a Wednesday. Would recommend the momos for starters and the Himalayan lamb and the paneer with peppers and onions (not on the online menu but available in the restaurant) for main course. Highly recommend a visit here!

Another perfect meal. We come here often with my inlaws and always have a great time, this time was no exception. I decided to try a new dish this time and I wasn't disappointed, the Lamb Biryani was absolutely stunning, a new favourite! My partner wants to try it next time for sure. It comes with either a curry sauce or cucumber raita, I chose the raita which was really refreshing. The staff are always super friendly and very attentive. Thank you for another great family evening!

I've been looking for PROPER AND AUTHENTIC INDIAN food for about 6 months in Birmingham, but finally, today I ordered food from here and finally felt impressed by the proper butter chicken and Paneer tikka masala. 5/5 for the food, taste, and quality.

Long black hair in the naan Food taste is delicious , But unfortunately 2 times we had a same issue hair in the food Like a taste food is delicious but unfortunately we had same issue 2 times 🤮 Obviously the baker do not use hat for cooking and is not clean properly kitchen or the person who cooks the food 😓 Soo sad , because we really liked this place People from Namaste Sutton are polite and kind but 2 times same issue is too much for us and we never will buy anything from there 😓

Went for Christmas day lunch, WOW! Lovley warm festive welcome, greeted with a prosseco. Popadums in abudence with sauce tray. Christmas menu was varied, everything we ordered was hot, tasty and presented beautifully. Took a long tjme to get a takeaway,dedpite being yold 40mjnuts it turned out over an hour. 1 dush was tasty the others were pretty average

Ordered a Lamb Biryani to pick up. Last time you put some mint concoction instead the correct sauce. Couldn’t be bothered to drive back. My mother picked it up tonight and I said make sure the right sauce is included. She was told it was correct. WRONG. Same mint concoction again. Will never use you again.

Perfect ambience, friendly staff and really tasty food!

Delivery did not arrive. We ended up collecting this food ourselves from the restaurant after we called the restaurant and they said that a driver hadn’t arrived for it. Two hours later, the driver arrived at our address asking for the delivery code

Food was quickly served and beautifully made . The ingredients tasted so fresh and the workers gave an amazing welcoming environment. Karki who works at Namaste was very inviting and helpful. Will definitely be coming here again.

Fingerlicking Asian food. All the family were blown away with quality of lamb and chicken dishes. Cheese naan are quality. Take-away food was well packaged. Food is higher priced but was well worth it

Used to be really nice, this time round was massive disappointment, the butter chicken tasted like they’d mixed a can of Heinz tomato soup in it. The meat in the special grill was tough too…

This was a snap decision to call in, so there was no reservation. This wasn't a problem to them, but it was Tuesday evening. The first impression was that it was a very nice place to eat. The saff were attentive, professional, and friendly. I was there with my daughter, and we didn't order a starter, but we did have poppadums. Rather than the often unmanageable plate sized disc, they came in a basket and looked more like large nachos. These were much easier to handle. Both our main courses were fantastic. They were very tasty and plentiful. We ordered pashwari naan bread to accompany, and my daughter commented that it was one of the best that she had tasted. My daughter, by the way, is an adult. The restaurant seemed very clean, but we didn't use the bathroom.

We were visiting Sutton Coldfield and were not disappointed when we found Namaste on Google as a good place to eat. The atmosphere was lovely with cure modern decor. The owners were so attentive and made each and every person feel welcome. He even took the time to take a photo of me and my daughter with the pretty flower wall. The food was absolutely delicious 😋 the keema nam was one of the best I have had and it even came out cut into nice slices so it can be enjoyed rather than everyone trying to rip into it and the filling falling out. Presentation was nice with all cute different bowls and there was definitely enough to share. I had the minced lamb dish with south Indian spices and it tasted just like one of our Indian friends dishes, with a home-cooked meal feeling about it that just can't be beaten. Peas and fresh coriander popped out through the mince meat and the flavour was consuming, I definitely recommend this one. My daughter had the chicken korma which came out in a copper mulled bowl with arty swirls of cream on top and some of the biggest pieces of chicken I have seen. There is only one thing I would suggest to the restaurant and that would be to perhaps have more mild options rather than just korma as pasanda and malaya are also nice mild options and are a little more adventurous for mild lovers out there. We had egg fried rice to share, there was plenty, it was the best Indian version I have had and again...it was SO fresh. All the staff seemed to go above and beyond with smiles on their faces. If we are up this way again, we would have the sizzling board as it looked incredible when we saw (and heard) it being delivered to another table. I would have also liked to try some of their cocktails too as the pics on Google review look really nice. Just a quick one about parking which is handy to know. As you pull in it says 2 hrs free, however when you go up to the restaurant, you can put in your reg and get 6 hrs free. I thought this was great as you don't need to rush or worry about the car then. Oh and there are a few flights of stairs to get up to the restaurant, not sure if there is a lift or not. Another note: There were SO many options for vegetarians too which you don't really find in most places. All in all, definitely worth a trip and will be returning if we find ourselves up this way again.

I always order from here every Friday and the food is amazing, the only problem I have had is all my food was cold when I ordered last night so I was very disappointed I think it was down to the delivery driver as his bag was open in the back of his car

I visited Namaste Sutton with my family after my son's school parent meeting, and we had a wonderful experience. The attendants greeted us warmly and seated us in a cozy spot, which was perfect for the chilly weather. The food arrived quickly and was absolutely delicious. Visited Namaste Sutton on Tuesday and had a great experience. The Mango Daiquiri was refreshing, and the Chicken Lollipop starter was perfectly crispy and flavorful. The Chicken Kadhai with Pilau Rice made for a delicious main course, full of rich spices. Great service topped off a lovely meal.

The food and service were outstanding. The Paneer Karahi was absolutely delicious, and both the mushroom rice and pilau rice were expertly prepared, each with its own distinct flavours. A truly wonderful dining experience!

I was there with my family for my husband's birthday and we really love this place. Food was really amazing, we had all vegetarian meals. Overall love how the manager personally attend all their guests.

I went out to try namaste Sutton with my family and the food was amazing and the waiters were really sweet and friendly with the children.In conclusion this is the best restaurant for if you want to have a nice dinner out with your family.I would definitely recommend namaste Sutton and I will definitely be coming back .🙂

During our holiday in the UK from Australia, one of our friends highly recommended Namaste Sutton when we mentioned our craving for Indian and Nepali cuisine. Based on that recommendation, we decided to give it a try, and I must say, it was one of the best dining experiences we've ever had. The service was prompt, the ambiance was warm and inviting, and the food was simply outstanding. We had absolutely no complaints, and we are definitely going to recommend this place to anyone visiting Birmingham. Namaste Sutton is a must-visit!

Edit 30/09/24: Namaste have actually had the audacity to not cancel the transaction on their end after failing to provide the service at all. I am having to dispute the charge with my bank. Truly awful service and still no word back from the restaurant. It's been over two hours since ordering online for delivery with no food in sight. I have been on the phone with them twice - I was polite each time and they assured me they would complete the order quickly. Still no sign of food and now they appear to be ignoring calls. As it stands, my Mum's birthday takeaway has been ruined. I will edit to update if the restaurant bothers to get back to me at any point. Edit to add: It's been two and a half hours, and "calls to this number are being diverted". We have been forced to order from somewhere else for fear of resorting to cannibalism in the depths of our hunger. Second edit: Between the moment a member of staff assured me they'd get back to me with an ETA and now, I lost the will to live, ordered from a different restaurant, ate from different restaurant, reached midlife, met my soulmate, got married, had a late child through IVF, retired, saw my daughter off to university, grew old, and am now sat on a rocking chair on my porch watching the sun set. Oh, and Namaste is now closed without ever having gotten back to me. I expect a full refund. All restaurants have issues from time to time, but this was handled appallingly. They had multiple opportunities to apologise and say they weren't able to complete my order, and failed to do so. If you're considering ordering from here don't bother, just order from somewhere else.
