The best restaurants serving Indian food in Vale of White Horse South East

Booked an early dinner which meant the restaurant was fairly quiet. The staff were all lovely and made sure our experience was top-notch. The food was superb (first time I've had a Chinese starter followed by an Indian main). Every dish was perfectly spiced with tender meat and the sides were fabulous. Massive car park, interesting decor. A really good night.

First experience was one week ago in the restaurant and today I had delivery ordered direct through Tiffin's website. Both restaurant experience and the takeaway experience was impeccable. Food is excellent, very tasty m, generous portions and good quality meat and prawns. Absolutely flawless and the staff are super friendly.. highly recommended

Abingdon Spice is, without doubt. The best in Abingdon for Indian food. Price, taste, portions, service and even better when eat in. As a chef myself and in the Michelin Guide I can wholly recommend.

Azeems is by far the best for curries in abingdon, only Indian I will use. If you request a curry but more spicy they absolutely smash perfect as per usual 10/10

Ordered takeaway from here recently. Ate half the curry then found a big fly in it. Absolutely disgusting. Been reported

We had a takeaway drawn in with the text that the Elaichi was back. Well we were told by the automated system it would be 1.5 hrs but it was more like 2.5 hrs, each time I called to chase why he hadn’t delivered, it was , the driver had just left, it was all cobblers, don’t know why I bothered as the food was awful the worst I’ve ever had, both meals were made with Tomato soup the Indian takeaway cheat ingredient and were watery awfulness - that’s the Chicken tikka masala and Murgh chicken both should have had creamy sauces but alas the tomato soup couldn’t thicken them enough. The only nice thing was the nan bread the day old popadoms and lack of onion salad that was ordered really was the final straw - £55 for two people us £55 I’ll never want to spend there again! Whatever happened to the old Elaichi, should have remained closed…

Have ordered takeaways from here many times and have always been impressed so thought we would eat in. We were pleasantly surprised, the food is delicious and the service was amazing and very friendly.

Changed hands recently and boy it’s really showing, absolutely full 6pm onwards! Food is excellent, service very friendly with one chap front of house a real character. Catered very well for young children too. We will definitely be back.
