Faversham now has a brilliant supper party pop-up restaurant hosted at Andy and Sam's Victorian home. We booked a table on 22nd July as it was for our wedding anniversary celebration. We sat down to several courses. Each course was dainty and beautifully presented. The gazpacho starter was refreshing. We ate pork medallion served with mash and green beans for the mains. We ate three bijoux mini desserts - Eton mess, a fine-pastry tartlet and a fruit crumble. The couple had served Champagne to go with the courses and had also offered us some Benedictine and a cocktail to go with each course but for health reasons I declined reluctantly. Silver service and fresh artichoke flower heads had been placed on the long Victorian dining table. We really felt like we were dining among good friends. I hope this business thrives as it deserves to. Andy also offers different English/ international dishes during the week, including curries that can be taken away. He is a talented chef. The supper club is very reasonably priced. I would recommend Faversham Fine Dining to anyone. Many thanks to Andy and Sam for making our anniversary so special and memorable.

The restaurant is very nice inside and the staff are very helpful, however when we arrived there was a party of about 8, there were many empty tables but we were placed at a table right next to the party. Our table was riketty abd uneven and they had to wedge it level ( remember there were many empty tables). Our whole meal was ruined by the screaming and insessent laughter from one of the women and the swearing plus the loud music trying to drown her out. My ears were physically hurting. I wanted to move but did not want to cause a fight to ensue so eat our meal and left as soon as we could. We had tandoori chicken, which was lovely but needed to be cooked a bit more for it to fall off the bone. At £15 a portion I could not leave the chicken and had to use my hand to remove the meat from the bone - messy. For a starter we had mutton tikka which was about £7 for 6 cubes of tough mutton, which we shared (3 cubes each) and butterfly prawns, at about £10 which consisted of only one prawn ( we had to cut it in half to share)!! We also asked for curry sauce to put on our rice, korma and tikka, to our horror we were charged about £7 each, the same price as we would have been charged for a chicken korma or chicken tikka meal! Our bill was £90!! However, to be fair, the management realized that we had an awful time ( been hit in the back every time they served the party), and did give us a discount. Nevertheless it was not a good experience. Probably will not go there again.
