The best restaurants serving Indian food in New Forest South East

Absolutely fantastic experience! The food was bursting with authentic Indian flavours — rich, aromatic, and beautifully presented. The service was warm and attentive, and the ambiance made it even more enjoyable. Highly recommend the karahi it was a standout. Will definitely be coming

Ain't had shapla for years&this eve orderd one&what a disappointment!! Raw stringy dough in uncooked naan bread,cold tasteless chicken in greasy cold rice. My missus korma was just as bad we had a mouthful and fed the outside bin.....still poppadoms are ok but a toddler could cook them tbf

Nice new Indian restaurant by the train station in new Milton. Food was very good, and at the time is was bring your own alcohol as they just opened. Not sure if still the case.

Ordered online a takeout delivered to the house, arrived on time, hot, good quantity and quality. All what you you would expect, nothing more or less. Would I use them again? yes.

We had a fantastic evening at The Raj. Great food, absolutely stuffed. Plenty to bring home for tomorrow too. Staff were really friendly. Really like the interior with the little booths. Feels like being in a posh train!

I have been using this take away for 20years never bothered with another. The food has always been delicious and I have tried many times to replicate the flavours after watching them cook my food to no avail. Delivery is haphazardous but collect it yourself and its brilliant

Despite its small profile from the exterior this is the best takeaway Indian Restaurant on this side of the Solent. They have a great franchise website for ordering food meaning you don't even have to call. The options on the menu are great and the food is also delicious. Food arrives often before the timer and the delivery driver is friendly. My only negative honestly is the actual location, I ordered directly from the store once and the environment is very unwelcoming. I was sat in their waiting area which is just a mass of red walls floor and sofa and the whole time the staff kept poking their heads out to check if I was still there.

Take away delivery not to be trusted. Long story but one which combines incompetence with bad arrive and out right lying … I love this place as a restaurant ,.. but the delivery drivers are incompetent (unable to use google pins, apple pin , what three words location words) - and fail to communicate when they are struggling to find an address. In 2025 unacceptable

Really disappointed. I ordered a takeaway for myself and my daughter. We had 3 mouthfuls and threw it away. I’m not convinced the chicken was cooked properly as it had a strange texture. Complete waste of money. This is my 3rd order from Red Chilli, the first one was lovely, second one was very average - again the chicken was strange and this third and last time, it was horrible.
