The best restaurants serving Indian food in New Forest South East

Very nice restaurant, great food and service.

Been coming here for years and would not go anywhere else.

Always have a takeaway here when visiting the new forest. Not had a bad meal. Recommended the garlic chilli chicken!

First time ordering from here. Never again, Told us delivery would be here by 7:45pm. Rang at 8pm and they said it would be here in the next 15 minutes. Fast forward to 45 minutes later and it appeared! The order was wrong they gave me chicken instead of Prawn, and food wasn’t that hot. DISSAPOINTED.

Having Rebranded and no longer actually being Shapla tandoori, it’s now called “Cinnamon”. We waited an hour for a delivery and ended up collecting after waiting so long. The Chicken pasanda was actually a “chicken tikka” pasanda, which turned out to be very watery and both chicken tikka dishes were very rubbery and almost felt cheap or undercooked. We were missing a Rice dish completely, Cheese naan was wrong and was found to be a plain naan. 2 incorrect dishes and 1 missing, while having a really underwhelming quality with all. I’m sorry to say but after this experience, I Would 100% recommend elsewhere…

Amazing take away, 5 star, I don't know how it could have been better, delivered.

Nice new Indian restaurant by the train station in new Milton. Food was very good, and at the time is was bring your own alcohol as they just opened. Not sure if still the case.

I have been using this take away for 20years never bothered with another. The food has always been delicious and I have tried many times to replicate the flavours after watching them cook my food to no avail. Delivery is haphazardous but collect it yourself and its brilliant

Take away delivery not to be trusted. Long story but one which combines incompetence with bad arrive and out right lying … I love this place as a restaurant ,.. but the delivery drivers are incompetent (unable to use google pins, apple pin , what three words location words) - and fail to communicate when they are struggling to find an address. In 2025 unacceptable

This was a takeaway which we have used for many years. The food is always fresh and there is lots of it. Thank you and keep doing what you do x

Really disappointed. I ordered a takeaway for myself and my daughter. We had 3 mouthfuls and threw it away. I’m not convinced the chicken was cooked properly as it had a strange texture. Complete waste of money. This is my 3rd order from Red Chilli, the first one was lovely, second one was very average - again the chicken was strange and this third and last time, it was horrible.
