Red Chilli Indian Takeaway & Restaurant in New Forest

Really disappointed. I ordered a takeaway for myself and my daughter. We had 3 mouthfuls and threw it away. I’m not convinced the chicken was cooked properly as it had a strange texture. Complete waste of money. This is my 3rd order from Red Chilli, the first one was lovely, second one was very average - again the chicken was strange and this third and last time, it was horrible.

Yet again attempted to order only to find they want to charge extra for items on the banquet menu. Surely if you display prices they should stick to them. Order cancelled !

Food is OK, but NEVER give them your phone number of email address. You will be spammed without mercy forever more.

1st time I've used this takeaway and wasn't disappointed - Cheaper than most in the area as not a dine in restaurant so overheads are lower and reflected in the prices - Ordered and received in very quick time all dishes cooked very nicely - One other point to mention is that their onion barjee is the biggest and best portions I have ever had - So many now just give you small ones at silly prices? - Will use again

Had a very nice delivery from this take away, hot, tasty and very good, arrived quickly as well. Quick to take your order. Easy to pay.

I have ordered food from Red Chilli before a couple of times since they moved their premises and the delivery was quite prompt, the portions great, and food was tasty. Unfortunately, they have really let themselves down with my last take-away order! I was told the food would be delivered in 45 mins to an hour and it took 1 and a half hours. After numerous phone calls and being told the food was on it's way I had to meet the delivery guy in the street as he could not find the house. The food was cold, no sauce (VERY dry consistency) very small portions (1/2 a tub full), and the Chef's special I ordered had no heat even though I asked for it to be cooked as medium. I wish I took some photos! The excuse I was given that they were very busy. I do not think this is a good enough excuse for a business to provide such poor food and service.

Having been disappointed with the bland Indian takeaways offered in this area, we thought we had nothing to lose in giving this new takeaway a try. We were pleasantly surprised to finally find delicious Indian food. All of our choices were delicious, rich sauces and medium spiced dishes were proper medium with a good spicy kick. We ordered chicken dhansak , prawn Ceylon, sag panic, naan and rice. A huge variety of dishes to choose from. Collected the food rather than being delivered as it's close to home and usually quicker to collect. Ordered early shortly after opening to get it quickly. Told 15 minutes on phone and kept waiting a few minutes when arrived to pick it up but not too bad. This is going to be our regular Indian takeaway if they keep up this standard.
