The best restaurants serving Indian food in Milton Keynes South East

The food is absolutely splendid. The chef customises it as requested. It has become more of a Saturday morning routine to order and have food here. It’s served with a smile and warmth as if it’s all just one family. There are always new people and new faces of different languages and cultures at the joint, to talk to about random things. The little birds keep chirping and playing around whilst one eats there. It’s more than just a food joint, it’s more an enriching experience to just be there early and find happiness.

I ordered a desi breakfast with habibi tea and wow, it was delicious. More than that, the gentleman who was taking our order etc (think he was the owner) was so attentive and really cared that we were happy. I will definitely come back and thank you for making us feel special plus the food and tea was great!!!

We had a takeaway last night which was excellent. The chicken madras had succulent meat and a very good sauce. We decided to try a lamb nehri which had tender lamb and again a very nice sauce. This is Indian cooking at a high level. The only slight negative was the naan bread which we didn’t enjoy as much as in other restaurants. Looking forward to our next meal.

Whatever cost cutting has taken place is now reflected in the meal. What was an excellent dish (tandoori chicken with masala potatoes) is now a dry and inedible mess. Took 1hr 20 to arrive. Last time for us.

Outstanding Curry & Service Had a fantastic meal at Ganges Lounge last night. The service was excellent—attentive and welcoming from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious, with the perfect level of spice for my dish. After trying many Indian restaurants recently, it’s been quite a while since I’ve had a curry this satisfying. This place truly ticks all the boxes, and I’ll definitely be returning!

As always fantastic food, but the service at the weekends so so slow. I presume with the volume of eat in customers and the volume of take aways the kitchen cannot cope judging from how many people are waiting.

Iv used Tandoori Hut for many years now. The food is always amazing, and the staff are so friendly, both on the phone and in store, always a pleasure to pop in for a chat and to collect the order. Chef will always accommodate a request for something cooked in a certain way, or something that isn’t on the menu, a great local business that really is part of the community.

My go to Chinese been going here 25+ years .food is always fresh pipping hot never had an issue .

We had a lovely family birthday lunch. The restaurant is very smart as are the staff. Beautiful white table cloths. The food choices on the banquet menu were extensive and good value. The food was lovely too. The staff couldn’t have made us more welcome.

I ate alone as had just finished work on a Saturday. Firstly the positives: I had a tasty Lamb Rogan Josh, with freshly prepared rice & a light Nan bread. The pops & dips we’re good although I would have liked some chopped onions. The draught kingfisher was also v good. The only negative is they do not offer a discount off the menu prices for collecting a take away. Their competitors do offer min 10% off if you collect. I found the staff friendly and attentive.

We visited for a take away yesterday and we were very impressed with menu and the way you could choose the level of spice to your taste for the vast majority of dishes. The food was delicious and flavoursome. The service was attentive but not intrusive. Would highly recommend and will definitely be going back.

First time getting a takeaway from this restaurant, it will be the last. Food was very bland and the rice very over cooked, more like rice pudding. It is a shame as the people seem very nice, I hope for their sake this was a one off, but I will not go there again
