The best restaurants serving Indian food in Mid Sussex South East

After a couple of visits in the restaurant and after a second takeaway tonight, I’m very impressed. The food is always fresh and the portions are generous. Recommended.

Terrible and rude service. Didn’t manage to order food in a timely manner so left. Staff not attentive at all. Never will return.

The king prawns were more like regular prawns and there were very few considering the cost of the dish. The prawns were also over cooked unfortunately, so they were very tough and dry. The onion bhaji’s, naan and rice were fine.

Never again!!! Do not order here. We ordered a paneer tikka masala to split between two people and there was a massive tomato taking up half the box so it wasn’t a real portion for £9.95. Also don’t order a tikka masala expecting it to be sweet!

Food was amazing and tasty however, it is very overpriced. Charging for the dish £14 and then an additional £5.95 for rice or narn, which is pretty unreasonable. Room is very loud when busy so wouldn’t bring elders, apart from that was very good.

Just not very nice food. Food without character. Overcooked chicken & awful dry lamb that felt like it was cooked previously and then added to a tasteless sauce. Uninspiring and won’t use again, especially as portions are small and not good value.

The lamb Balti had no spice or flavour, the garlic rice had no flavour couldn’t even taste the garlic, chips were cold and soggy. Really disappointing takeaway

This has become a new family favourite, for the genius reason that as well as decent curry, they also do good burgers via their Smashed It burger place. I can get food for the whole family at the one time. If you want a burger but instead of chips, fancy some bombay potatoes, then why not. Have only collected so far but the food is usually ready when I arrive. We have started coming here for burgers since Smoque went down the toilet.

Really tasty food but small portions and not value for money. We got the set menu, which was around £18 for a starter , main , rice or naan, and coffee. The portion size of the curry and also the rice was small. I would expect bigger portions at an Indian restaurant. I am unlikely to return, sadly, due to the price, but I did enjoy the food.

Great food (recommend the shashlik) good portions, good service! Very reasonable prices for what you get. Quick for deliveries.

food was shockingly bad. it looked like it had been sat on and was cold. driver didn't even stick around to take the code.....really really bad.
