The best restaurants serving Indian food in Hart South East

Excellent food and service. Well looked after by Arpana. Will go again soon. We had the 6 course surprise tasting menu and I now feel totally stuffed but very happy.

Really helpful, food was very good quality. Explained a dietary requirement and went above and beyond to help us. Would definitely recommend.

We're creatures of habit. As the Americans say, "If it aint broke, don't fix it." Once we have found the supplier that works for us, we stick with it. For an Indian, we stick with the Golden Triangle. If we want to celebrate a birthday or anniversary, we'll have a delivery from here. (Too lazy to go out, or too naughty to be overheard in polite company.) All else being equal, we judge a curry house on the Tadka Daal and the Golden Triangle gets that just right. That's far from the whole story, though. The menu is full of choice and the kitchen are willing to accomodate a request for a combination that isn't listed. The service is warm and helpful. Looking forward to our next event.

This is our second visit and the food is really nice. Fresh chicken used in the dishes. Would really recommend a visit. Will definitely be back

Lots of options for food, delicious food, big open spaces in the restaurant, lovely decorations, the only thing is they haven’t changed their name of the shop to match their new name which is gurka inn, makes it very confusing on trying to find the restaurant.

Diabolical food compared to Hook Tandoori. Chicken didn’t seem like chicken and both dishes flavourless. The restaurant doesn’t even smell of curry when you walk in. Very run down. Won’t be going back.

Our favourite local restaurant, always good service, excellent food and very reasonable too! Went for a final Christmas family meal (before everyone returned to everyday life) on the 1st January 25, and as always came away satisfied! They also offer an “indulgence” menu, I would recommend you check it out

We ordered via this restaurant in August. After nearly a 4 hour wait for food, food being delivered cold on Deliveroo, finally the restaurant offered the same order again at a time of our choosing. We contacted them this evening (the night of our choosing) and were told they didn’t know what we were talking about. This is extremely disappointing after eating in many times previously. But will not eat here due to the rude service and deceptive ownership.

We usually eat at Monsoon however wanted thought we'd try The Taj for a change. We'd hadn't booked but there were a few empty tables. Good fresh & warm poppadom & nice pickle chutney selection. chicken rezala & tikka shashlik both tasty & chicken was tender. Rice, nann & side of saag paneer also good. The only negative was the lighting, the room is way too bright!

Best Indian take away local to us. Always a good meal, it's always hot and they never get anything wrong. The service is always great whether we get it delivered or go and pick up. Will always recommend to anyone who asks.

Absolutely appalling service, and awful food. We had the incorrect order sent. So I called up and said politely that we had the wrong dish. The horrible man on the phone decided to tell me it was my fault. I ordered a paneer tikka masala. But it came dry with no sauce and he told me it was my fault for not asking for sauce in the notes. Even though the dish says it comes with sauce already! He then tried to blame it on Uber eats. I’ve tried to eat it and the paneer is so dry and the rice has no flavour. The box that the dish came in even had an ‘m’ on it for masala but yet it came dry. I have paid a lot of money for dry rice and dry paneer and been spoken to very poorly on the phone. Mistakes happen and easily and would have happily waited for the correct one to arrive but he wouldn’t help.
