Fantastic food and great service. This is our go to Indian takeaway and it's always tasty and reliable. I would highly recommend the biryani.

We've been having a takeaway curry from Red Chilli for many years. The delivery is always prompt, hot and with a smile and the food is yummy!

I have been eating curries for 40 years and I can honestly say that this is the best I have ever had. And my 2 friends agree with that. The spices and ingredients are second to none and the meat was so tender.5* in my opinion.

We ordered our first ever Indian meal from Hook last night , and Brilliant . We ordered the Meal , as said it arrived 30 mins later . Two curries Chicken and Lamb nam bread pop a dons . Great service , Great food Properly priced too Well recommended . Use again YES

Ordered takeaway this evening we will not be returning ordered 2 chicken currys meat was chewy and bland we drained off approximately 1/2 pint of water of both dishes as they were swimming on the plate. Couple of hours later me and wife both not feeling great. Do yourself a favour and avoid. 🤮

I've used this takeaway restaurant for years without issue, but tonight everything was awful. I ordered on line, was told delivery within 45 minutes. That's already quite a while for a Tuesday. After one hour I phoned to check when I might expect delivery. The girl told me they were waiting for the delivery driver and it would be with me soon. She also said the system hadn't alerted them to my order. Another half hour passed. I called again and was told the order had just left. It finally arrived. I'm guessing the truth is it wasn't even started until I called, and they were alerted to my order! When I cut into the long awaited tandoori chicken it was raw. I phoned the shop again and was told they'd send another. It arrived far too late to be eaten with the rest of the meal which had, by now, been thoroughly spoiled. Very disappointed. Not sure we will use them again after this waste of money.

£30 meal for two. We had two main meals for one rice nan’s one bottle of coke Chicken poor quality very cheap and chewy. Cheap ingredients was being used. Nan had no test. rice had so much oil. Bottle had a price on bottle and restaurant added money on to the bottle. - 0 starts Personl I will never return to this restaurant and would not recommend the restaurants Restaurant looked clean and tidy in the shop area and staff was very welcome on are visit. - 2 starts was given for the cleanliness in the staff

Ordered online via Deliveroo. In comments to restaurant specifically asked for curries not to be oily. Curry and chana masala swimming in oil and chicken curry was inedible due to oil and stewed chicken. Sent photos to restaurant on the mobile number they called me from with no response. Avoid at all costs. This place is shockingly bad

I have tried all the Indian takeaways around this area and red chilli is the best in my opinion because the food as always been fresh and tasty and the portions are good and they also deliverer to Odiham.

Went to place an order- £50 for 3 curries! I said don’t worry I’d leave it. Called me over and over I answer he screams do I know how expensive chicken is tells me to F off 3 times and calls me a c**t twice! Shocking! My 2 year old was sat next to me!! Absolutely will be avoiding!

Sadly the food is just not to my taste. Delivery was fast and the food was hot. The tandoori king prawns were very tasty but that’s as far as it goes. We were sent plain rice instead of pillau rice. The tikka masala sauce was not a tikka masala but a tomato based sauce over chicken. I didn’t find the sauce thin such as other reviews have said. However, I did not like the taste. The sag aloo was simply potatoes and spinach there’s not much to say. We ordered 4 popadoms and collect tray . Sadly the size of the pots containing the onions, mint and yogurt dip and the mango chutney etc were so small they were empty after just one popadom was consumed. The keema nan was good providing you leave the crust which are burnt. Sadly not for us again and will stick to Hook tandoori

A simple order, just a King Prawn madras and a garlic naan bread, but couldn’t have asked for any more from the flavours, heat & quality. In my many years of many many takeaways this is up there with one of the best I’ve ever had. *Non-paid review!!*

We had a meal tonight for my husband’s birthday, awful, we have used this takeaway several times not been great but tonight it was awful all sauce and no meat, and cold. Very disappointed as this wasn’t a cheap meal.

I’m no stranger to Indian takeaways and so I thought I’d give Red Chilli a go. Wasn’t disappointed, in fact the only thing I felt let down abut was the fact I hadn’t tried it sooner! Quality of the chicken and literally all components of the madras and tikka masala sauces i ordered were second to none. Very very highly recommended.

Since moving to Hook a year ago, we’ve had regular takeaway meals from Red Chilli all of which are fantastic quality. The special Biryani is my husband’s favourite and mine is any of the other fruity curries. Delivery is always fast and we wouldn’t order anywhere else.

Just had a delicious meal from Red Chilli. Both my wife and I ordered different meal and we were very pleased and commented how tasty our meals were. From the smell when we opened the tub through to the end where we were clearing up the sauce on the plate with the keema nan.The gent who delivered the meal was polite and curious, dropped the food at the door and e. Walked and waited at a safe distance. Also wearing gloves. All round great service and delicious meal. We won’t leave it so long to purser our meal. Thank you.

Horrendous. Mixed grill was floating in oil. The lamb was too chewy to eat. Naan bread was burnt. Chicken curry was watery and flavourless. All three of us had nothing nice to say about the food. Most of it was discarded. £56 spent and about £2 worth of food was eaten. Never again!!!!

We had a take away from here over the weekend, I must say it was lovely & hot but it was the strangest chicken Tikka i have ever had. It was fairly watery and very tomato based almost like passata with onion bits in it not very creamy. The rest was nice but I picked the meat out and threw away the sauce. Some people must like it as the previous reviews are fairly good just not my cup of tea

We ordered a veggie banquet for 50 people and the food was amazing. Excellent door to door service and good value too. Fresh and delicious food and my guests had 2 or 3 helpings. Would definitely order from here again, we’re all still raving about it and I had such lovely comments from friends. Thank you Red Chilli! You did not disappoint.

We moved to the area 6 months ago and loved Hook Tandoori but started to get a bit bored of it. So, we thought we should give Red Chilli a go and it was excellent! Also cheaper in price, which we all love! I am very particular about my curries (I spend a lot of time eating them in India!) etc and so was apprehensive but I am so glad we did. If there have been negative comments previously, they are definitely listening and doing all they can to rectify. See you next week.... x

First time ordering , had several items from here today for delivery .. food arrived within time frame given , was hot , and very tasty , would def have again .

Delivered in approx. 20 mins.Food wasn't nice at all.I ordered lamb tikka masala with basmati rice and saag paneer. Firstly, the lamb didn't taste like lamb and the sauce was very watery. No creamy texture or nice flavours as you'd expect. Overall, it was tasteless. I wouldn't recommend the food here at all.I only ordered from here as Hook Tandoori doesn't offer delivery, unlike Red Chilli.

We’ve had several takeaways from Red Chilli, Hook, Hants and each time there’s been something wrong with either the meal or the service. Things like: burnt naan bread, foods missing (not put in the delivery), the delivery taking just under two hours to be delivered.....Yesterday we decided to give them one more chance. We phoned the order through and said we would collect at 8pm. My husband went in to collect our order and as normal, there was nobody at the desk. He waited and called out for service for several minutes. Then the phone rang. A man came through to the front and ignored my husband and answered the phone. After he had taken an order, my husband said he was there to collect his order. They THEN started to cook the order for us, which took another twenty minutes. When we got home with our takeaway order, there was no popadoms, which we had paid for. I wanted to phone to complain (as I had done in the past), but my husband said not to bother as we will never use them again. Very bad service and organisation. Do they actually know how to run a takeaway restaurant?

This place used to be good but unfortunately the last two takeaways I have had from here since refurb have been poor. The rice dishes were ok but the mains are the problem. Chicken Madras tasted nice but the sauce was really thin and more like an Indian Miso and for the price nowhere near enough chicken. The Tarka Dahl was just soupy and tasteless more like a turmeric flavoured thin soup and just unpleasant. Naan breads were ok. I'll go back in a few months in the hope they sort out the consistency of the dishes.

Shared a take away curry and rice meal with my son on Sunday evening; tasty curry and good selection of flavoured rice; sadly poppadoms were a big let down - tasted of oil only and very dry; order was completed promptly after telephone.

When there were 3 Indian options for take a way we always came here as we loved the food.

First takeaway from here and simply not that impressed. Prices were ok, but quality and taste was not great.

Horrible. Nothing authentic at all. Smokey Tikka, old oil used for the poppadoms & other starters - just really disappointing, not to mention very expensive for what you get. Sorry, really wanted to like this place but will never use again.

Very good takeaway in Hook town centre. Great choice of signature dishes as well as the usual favourites. Everything is freshly cooked and highly recommended

Third time of using. Well pleased previously. One hour wait. When food arrived the portions, apart from rice, were smaller than usual. Lamb tikka very dry, Tarka dall was more like a soup and generally horrible. King prawn madras was swimming in sauce and a bit lacking in prawns. Very hot, even for a madras. I suspect could not cope with Saturday work load.

I pretty much live off your curry, it's amazing! Portion sizes are generous, choice of dishes is very good, the flavours are outstanding, compliments to the chef!! My husband is about to order again tonight... but we keep loosing the paper menu, if the menu was on the website or on here that would be great!!! :)

We have now tried this take away a number of times and we are really pleased to say that the food is excellent and consistently good. My favourite is chicken passanda but haven’t had a dish yet that we have’t been delighted with.

I visited the Red Chilli for the first time this evening and I wasn’t disappoint. As my wife is away I ordered a Chicken Dansak and a pilau rice to take away. What lovely food and a portion almost twice the size than that in a restaurant!

The curry we bought was delicious. The rice was good. The naan bread wasn't the best. I bit doughy but still a 5* review overall. Friendly staff. Nice premises.

Vastly superior cuisine to the nearby Hook Tandoori, and better prices. My go-to takeaway, despite a longer drive for me. I especially love your Chicken Tikka Morrisa. Please NEVER close!

Telephone answered promptly and stated order would take 45 minutes. Not a problem and would expect a wait from 8:00pm .

We had a curry from red chilli today and it was fantastic. The food was very tasty and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly! Highly recommend!

It's great to have red chilli in the village. We've had a takeaway 4/5 times now and it's always good. It's reasonably priced and the chap in there is lovely, plus you get to eat poppadoms and dips while you wait which is fantastic! I recommend the lamb vindaloo but the chicken tikka dishes are also very good quality. All in all a great place to have in Hook.

Fantastic food at good prices. We have visited a few times since it opened and been very impressed. Friendly staff too!

So pleased we have something new to eat in the Hook area. The usual option are nice but they are same options available for many years. Red Chilli offer something new and It isn’t only new, we have been really happy with the quality of the food and the service we have received. Every dish has been Delicious and we are enjoying working our way through the menu. We would definitely recommend this take away and wish the new owners every success.

Visited this takeaways a couple of weeks ago, really impressed with not only the food but the friendly staff, popadoms while I was awaiting my food was a really nice touch and never had that offered at a takeaway. Heading back for another takeaway tonight.

I got my first takeaway at Red Chilli in Hook. We really enjoyed it -we had chicken ticka madras and chicken kurma, poppadoms and plain naan. It was really tasty and the portion sizes were good. The chicken was really tender and we enjoyed the sauces. The naan was good and the poopadoms dry and crispy. I will definitely be using Red Chilli again and really recommend them. The staff are friendly too! Thank you!
