Absolutely amazing restaurant I went there with my family today there’s something for everyone the staff are extremely helpful and very pleasant, the food is amazing very tasty I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Visited on a Friday night with friends, and the owner/manager could not be accommodating. Had the table for 4 hours, catching up with friends over good food at a reasonable price. Never felt rushed, unlike other restaurants in Fleet!!! Definitely, be back.

Regular customer of Zaal takeaway, however 2nd time in a 6 weeks that they have forgotten part of the order... This time round when called to tell them they said that they would reimburse my account, I even chased via email however have not heard from the since. A little disappointing as always enjoyed their food in the restaurant and delivery

Visited with a group of work mates, after a recommendation. Well what can I say. Delicious food and excellent service. We had the indulgence menu, so we got to try lots of different things. I loved the peshwari chicken and the lamb bhuna. I will be back thats for sure! Thank you!

Visited with a group of colleagues, some of whom had been before. And we will all be going again. It was lovely to choose many small potions of various starters and mains, along with rice and naan breads etc. It meant we could try dishes we hadn't before, all served very freshly prepared. The staff were excellent and looked after us very well. A return visit is definitely on the cards.

Service was pretty poor, took a very long time to order drinks, then a long wait to get them, over an hour wait for our food, restaurant wasn't that busy but seemed to be more focused on take out orders. Telephone never stopped ringing which was pretty annoying as our table was next to it. Food wasn't great, certainly not worth the wait wouldn't go again.

I grew up in Southall West London, so was very fortunate to have great Indian food from an early age, I now live in Fleet Hampshire. Zaal fine dining is fantastic. Az and he's staff are always very welcoming. The food is very authentic and always very good, it's a 10 out of 10 for me, so lucky to have this brilliant restaurant as part of our community.

First time here as I'd heard good things about it. Little disappointed with the food , lacked spice and heat. Portion sizes are on the small side too. I would go back and try something well known and spicy to see how it compares with other dishes I've had elsewhere. On the positive side their wine servings are massive ! HOLIDAY POUR 🤣

Wow wow wow; we have missed eating the amazing food from this curry house. Now they are open after the emergency repairs have been done and cooking up the most amazing food. Starters to try; prawn puri, chicken pakora, samosa and lamb tikka. Mains; Ceylon, Madras, khodu Gosht and mixed grill. The staff are highly attentive despite how busy it is, atmosphere is electric and the general feel of the restaurant is relaxing and comfortable. Stuffed now! On a final note, if you want to try lots of different dishes, their indulge menu from Sunday to Thursday is affordable and simply perfect. Enjoy!

Just back from a lovely family meal at Zaal. A friendly welcome as always and we enjoyed the Indulge menu - a chance to try lots of different dishes. All of which where very fresh and tasty! Everyone in our party commented how good the food was - including a vegetarian, a 'timid' curry eater and a seasoned Ganet!! We'll be back again soon. Thank you

We are so pleased that our favourite Indian restaurant Zaal is back open again!! We visited last night and the food and service are still head and shoulders above any other in the area - they really go that extra mile to make you feel welcome - the menu is exceptional value in comparison to others in Fleet. They have been closed for major gas works for a good few months now and therefore need our support more than ever in these challenging costly times - so please go for a Curry at Zaal and let's support our 'Independent' Local Businesses.

From the minute you arrive, the service is impeccable, friendly and professional. The food is well presented and delicious! And the seating / linen / atmosphere is quality.

Food was ok but the staffs attitude were disgusting , we had previously booked the meal for my father in laws 80th however he passed away just before , so we still went and the waiters were rude gave us the attitude that they didn’t want to be there ,

Last night, Saturday 04th March I placed a telephone order at 1850hrs for a takeaway to be delivered. The waiter took my order £53.46. I was told by the waiter it would be approximately 1 hour for delivery. After an hour and a half I called the restaurant (Zaal) to find out where our food was. I could here the manager tell the waiter it was just leaving the kitchen and would be with us in 15mins. 20mins later the delivery driver called to say he was outside the block of flats and he’d rung the intercom. Our intercom hasn’t rung so I told him to ring it again, to which he replied, I’ve given the order to a young man with curly hair and glasses, your son!!!!He came and took it for me. I told the delivery driver that I DIDN’T have any children, never mind a son and he’d just given our food to someone else!!!!😡😡😡😡 I asked the driver which Flat this imbecile had gone back into with our food to which the driver pointed to the flat. No. 10. When the driver knocked on their door they refused to answer the door because they knew they’d stolen the food. When I called the restaurant to talk to the manager to explain what had happened. I heard him scream at the waiter to tell me to F**k Off, my food was on the F**king way!!!!! If this is what they (Zaal restaurant) class as Good Customer Service. I would hate to see they class as Bad Customer Service. I have had NO response from the restaurant manager with regards to getting my money back or an apology for his disgusting language. For anyone thinking of using this restaurant I would think again. Absolutely appalling service!!!!!!

Theiving b@×*€¥ds! Took our order, over £50, then 2 hours later their delivery driver gave our food to someone else! The delivery driver was clueless as to who he had given our food to and then disappeared! When calling the restaurant to enquire and complain about what was happening with our order my wife was promptly told by the manager (heard clearly in the background) to f#@k off. We still haven't had an explanation as to why we didn't receive our food, a call back from the manager or if we are getting a refund. Absolutely awful service, avoid at all costs 😡

From the first bite of Samosa I could tell that this was average food, nothing bad, but nothing special. Lacking in taste, you know, that fullness of flavour, depth of flavour combined with a lack of seasoning. Samosa ok, onion bhajee better tahn the samosa....

We had a takeaway recently, the food arrived fairly promptly my wife had a Chicken Jalfrezi and I had a Bengal chicken Naga The food arrived hot with lots of flavour.

Had friends over this evening and decided to order a takeaway from Zaal hoping that it would be good....it wasn’t good....it was great! Every dish we ordered was absolutely delicious...we will definitely order from here again another time...and may even eat in.

We enjoyed a wonderful meal here and were very happy with the service. The only small (and I mean really minor - I could have asked but didn't bother it was that minor) is offering mint raita with the starters for the salad as other India restaurants do. Lovely non-greasy delicious curries, and fab chapattis - recommended!

Actually Bangladeshi cuisine - our takeaway was promptly delivered and was absolutely delicious. Our mains were Balti King Prawn and Chicken Tikka Marsala. The meat was so tasty and tender. The mushroom bhaji, pilau rice and peshwari nann were hot and perfect. Highly recommended.

Had heard some good things about Zaal, so ordered for a takeaway. I would say that of all the dishes we had, they were all a bit old fashioned in taste (bland and tasted broadly the same) and it's definitely not as good as much more modern Indian restaurants.

Went here as my partner used to come here regularly. Ordered food. My partner asked what size the rice was. Standard size was the reply. Food came out i orderd a mixed starter bland at best. So pleased to find a good Indian restaurant which we can enjoy as a family. Our kids (6 and 4yrs) love eating here, choosing from the children’s menu. Delicious food, super friendly staff and kids eat free before 7pm. What’s not to love!? It’s our go to take away too!

We have both eaten at Zaal and ordered take-aways from Zaal on many occassions. The last few take-aways have not been as good as in the past but acceptable with the food being just average.

Came here for the first time for my friend's birthday. There was a big group of us (14 people) and the service and food was amazing. All the meals arrived at the same time, were piping hot and and packed full of flavour. The staff were friendly and the restaurant had a nice atmosphere.

Been 4 times before during week and had a good meal but very disappointed with service and meal on a Saturday night. Very busy and Staff unable to cope. Long wait with no apologies. Finally got meal and not very hot so obviously been sitting in kitchen before serving.

Thank you for a lovely night. Very attentive service without being pushy or interrupting. The food was excellent including the King Prawn starter, Chicken Tikka, Breads, Chutneys, side dishes, drinks including Proscecco, Kingfisher on tap, Long Island Ice Teas!! And the complimentary drinks after we'd paid. The waiters were very funny and helped with recommendations. Love this curry house, easy 5 stars.

We had a selection of dishes all of which were well presented and cooked to a high standard.

Lamp was not cooked nicely and rice was not fresh as need to be and very sticky and tikka masala sauce was not taste good either,sorry for negative review I know that was last minute order but you shouldn't accept orders guys if you are not going to prepare it properly.

We have visited Zaal many times over the years whilst working in Fleet and each time it still delivers quality food.

When I paid by card, the waiter ran off with my card despite me shouting him not to. He proceeded anyways to take my card behind the bar. He and 2 other staff were there and I could not see what they were doing so of course suspected foul play. I told the waiter off hard and load for card out of site, and he insisted he'd done nothing wrong, but the wireless machine did not work. I told him that staff should NEVER take cards out of site. He claimed not to understand which makes it even more suspicious. I call his manager who pretended to be equally clueless. You'd have to pretty stupid to work in a restaurant and not know that. I left 0 tip and I had to cancel my card.

Attended in group of 16 and whilst I only had a Diet Coke (ice provided) the portions were clearly too small for mains as some ordered a further portion, staff not friendly and wanting us to effectively tidy up plate arrangements and then charge 10% service charge when pretty much not service was offered. It’s my third visit here and probably my last as each time the experience has been slightly worse.

Had a ok meal, sat talking for a bit and the owner opened the door to let the cold in. When I said do you want us out the owner said yes. Shan’t be returning due to the service and poor food.

I love eating here in the restaurant, but tonight after ordering a take away (after bad experiences) it hasn’t changed my opinion of Zaal! I ordered online at 7.15 for a take away to be delivered at 7.45 I rang to see when my order was going to be sent out they said it was just about to leave (I am 4 min drive away) 8.20 still not arrived so I phoned again they said it was ready in the kitchen but it was going to be another hour, so I said I would go and collect instead! When I arrived it was very busy inside and lots of people waiting to collect orders, when I went to collect my order they said they didn’t know if it had been sent out or not and would go and check if it was still in the kitchen or on its way for delivery. The guy next to me at the bar was also moaning about how he had phone his order through over hour and a half ago as well and the people behind me!

We ordered a home delivery and all the dishes that arrived were of poor quality The chicken and lamb tika were so dry and leathery that it was impossible to chew. The whole experience was quite bad.

Always nice in Zaal. Not the biggest portions but great flavours. Slow service is a constant but a nice atmosphere.

During our starter, they moved our table mid meal to make room for new diners. We naturally complained and we we’re shouted for being unreasonable. The manager is rude and needs an attitude adjustment.

Having used zaal regular for a few years I am sad to say its really gone down hill. After several takeaway meals and being unhappy our last meal I decided to call and complain about the food that we had...The man that I spoke to on the telephone could not careless...Nobody else has complained? so? I am not everybody else...Spent my hard earned money on a meal for 5 to have to bin half of it due to the standard of the food....And believe me I wasn't being fussy......Wont use again and I will not recommend ...A loyal customer no more.....I would also advise to look up recent food ratings .....
