I have never had such a dreadful meal delivered to my house. The food was tasteless, dry, cold and nothing like I had ever experienced before! It took 80 minutes to arrive half a mile up the road and when I called to say how disappointed I was I was told that I just wanted my money back! I can comfortably afford to order a takeaway but could not eat this awful food. I have only ordered from this restaurant once before when a guy I have known for many years worked there and it was great. However when I asked if Ali from The Meopham Tandoori still worked there I was told that no one called Ali had ever worked there !! I have been told a refund will be with me in 5-10 days but their customer service is rock bottom so I don’t believe it. In fact letting people not waste their money is more important than a refund as I did not complain to get one as the Manager rudely implied .

New address in Queen Street! (same telephone number) Slightly improved premises with a little more seating than in Milton Road. We enjoyed a good selection of starters - all very tasty. The dosas were a little under done but ok. The service was friendly but as the place was almost full they were struggling to keep up. Despite this the quality of the food makes it wort visiting. Don't expect table cloths and napkins etc. Inexpensive so good value. Not the sort of "standard" Indian / Bangladeshi restaurant food. Great for vegetarians.

This curry house is exceptional. Truly amazing. Tried it out once a few months ago for the first time and haven't stopped since. The lamb bhuna and saag aloo are the best items on the menu and the service is always great. Highly recommend.

These guys are special. They are up there in my top 5 in Indian cuisine. Their balti dal tarka is bar none the best, I could mop that up with their well done naans every week. Nice little thing they do is give you a little veggie curry for free which is also freaking delicious. Makes me miss having Indians as nextdoor neighbours because they we would do the same thing. My only gripe with them is they are slooooow. Their food is top notch though if you're willing to wait.

This was a horrendous experience. I will say however, that this is what I believe to be an anomaly - this is our local Indian restaurant and one which we have dined at many times, without issue and enjoy visiting. I will also say that the food was absolutely amazing as it always is. However, from around midway through our meal, we were (and I can only describe it as this) tortured by a group of young lads on another table (six in total) who were obviously relatively drunk and deciding to sing and lark about at the tops of their voices. The staff, amazingly did absolutely nothing about this and it took myself to very loudly but politely remind the group this was a restaurant and to ask the group to desist with their behaviour and they did abate - albeit temporarily. I complained to the staff on-site and got absolutely nowhere, they agreed with me it was inappropriate behaviour however their argument seemed to be based on the fact they were able to do nothing about it (something which I find hard to believe). The noise level was so loud that talking at our table was completely impossible and we decided to pay the bill and leave the establishment hurriedly. I also note that I did mention on leaving to both the staff and the group why we were leaving so soon and whilst the staff understood - the group saw this as pathetic I believe and a physical altercation was very near close to breaking out in the bar area. A totally disappointing and unnecesaary ending to an otherwise perfectly pleasant evening. I feel totally let down by the on-site staff and it will take some persuasion to revisit this place based on the above review I have been forced to write. Having enjoyed many an evening here prior to yesterday, both myself and my fellow diners was left thoroughly disappointed to say the least.
