I recently ordered from Masums Indian Takeaway for collection, and it was a fantastic experience. The customer service was exceptional; the staff were friendly and welcoming. I tried the Bengal Piazza and Chicken Biryani, both of which were delicious. The Bengal Piazza was rich in flavor and perfectly spiced, while the Chicken Biryani was aromatic with tender chicken and fragrant rice. The portion sizes were generous, making for a satisfying meal.

Well once again Masums have delivered the perfect Indian experience, as in my previous reviews nothing has changed. Ordered tonight Tuesday 1st October 2024 and got a great meal delivered by a friendly cheerful young lady who said enjoy your meal and have a lovely evening. Food as usual was first class and I got a free vegetable curry on the house which was lovely and will order in the future. Keep it up Masums 5 Star food and service👍

Masums is a hidden gem in Gravesend! I have Ordered from here for nearly 2 years after trying many other Indian Takeaways in town and this is by far the best flavour & Freshly cooked with care not to mention it’s very cheap too. The restaurant is ran by 4 Brothers who are all very friendly & all seem to love what they do. Support your local honest business and enjoy doing to, Much healthier than Chinese or KFC as well 👎

Delivery was very quick and food was very nice, however the onion bhajis were forgotten. When we called them to fix this, they delivered them in quick time, so no worries.

Masums is second to none! The chefs specials are superb. Please do try them! Their food is consistently fresh, fragrant and lovely. The service and delivery is extremely good. I have tried so many different places and we have got such a wide choice in this area but please give Masums a try because they will never let you down. Let’s hope they can open up a restaurant in the future- and make sure they take the chef with them! Nothing is ever a problem for them, so accommodating and wonderful. Thank you!

Keep it up Masums and get ready for my next order👌 Well there has been quite a few meals since my last review and my opinion has not changed just had a delivery tonight Monday 26th May 2022 and it was spot on chicken so tender and the spicing exquisite, I ordered two spicy popadoms and got three and also got two onion bahji’s,free lovely touch, and their salad is the best and freshest you will get from an Indian Restaurant/Take Away Thankyou Masums, see you again very soon👍 Right just had another delivery from Masums Monday 9th January 2023, as usual the quality has not changed one bit, still 1st class, tonight I was missing an onion salad and mint raita for my starter rang them up and one of the staff bought it straight round, thank you again Masums for a great meal and great service👍 Yet another update Tuesday 17th October 2023 and the quality of food and service has not changed, two things with my order that has not been surpassed by anyone else in Gravesend is the amount of chicken you get in a portion is fantastic and the Bombay Aloo is simply the best cooked and spiced to perfection, it’s so nice to find somewhere that doesn’t send out hard potatoes, and just to cap it off they send me three onion Bahjis as an extra. That is why I’ll always choose Masums,👍

I have ordered in the past from this takeaway and will order again. the food was delicious as always. Was pleasantly surprised at how quickly it was delivered from the time I ordered to when I received it. It was still nicely hot.

This is my regular curry house order once a week thought I’d leave them a review the chef is amazing always cheerful helpful and friendly I tried more Indians but this one just hits the spot I always recommend everyone to try this place if u haven’t tried your missing out big time 😊

I reviewed 2 years ago but decided to do it again. Enormous portions fast service and polite delivery people. Chef is very accommodating as I like hot stuff so he puts a few extra chillis in etc Plus extra "on the house" portions. I can't believe they are so quiet at weekends. Give them a try you won't be disappointed

Ordered the lamb tikka which is cooked in the tandoor. The customer service was good however the food was appauling, very salty and extremely chewy. You can clearly tell the lamb was off cuts and had a heavily salted marination. I appreciate that the food was cooked quickly, however this is not acceptable as a 1st time customer and having eaten all over the country, I always expect high standards from any establishment when it comes to the produce and quality of the end product. For £7.99 it was not worth it as there was too much tough fat within the fibres of the meat and hardly any of it was consumed. (TO THE ESTABLISHMENT) Please take my review as positive criticism, as I would love for your business to prosper and have returning business. The meat cuts used for the lamb tikka were not of a decent quality, lamb should be easy to eat and not chewy to the extent that we have to spit it out like over chewed chewing gum.

Not as good as my usual indian take away (pink paprika) I had a jalfrazi and although hot was lacking taste all the way through the meal instead having small pockets of flavor (very odd). My husband said that his dish was ok (I can't remember what he had) but still only ok.

Just ordered today for the first time. Dish that I like was so salty that it was awful. If not that I was after 12 hour shift and I was really tired, I will bring it back. Will never stop there again.

I’m sorry but this has gone downhill big time,when foz and his crew were there the food was so nice.I’m not a good cook but mine taste better than the new owners cooking.I’m surprised it’s still running.I will not be ordering from here again for sure.

Tandoori mixed grill was awful, none of it seemed fresh, very dry, had to throw it all out, lamb and chicken skewers and quarter chicken really bad, very disappointed. I was so looking forward to it.

Was briefly in Gravesend and asked Google to navigate to the nearest Indian Takeaway and I arrived here. Food was tasty, chicken chunks large and free vegetable curry "on the house" was very tasty.

Ordered last night. The Madras I ordered had absolutely no flavour and the food was cold when arrived. I can forgive the food being cold, but not the lack of quality of the main dish. This is most likely the final time I will order from you guys now because of the same issue before. You need to address this issue guys

Always used masums but the last 3 times the order has been wrong or cold when delivered . The manager has just called us back and basically told us he doesn't care if he loses our custom so we will now be looking for a new indian takeaway which is a shame as we used to enjoy their food

I have been ordering from Masums for years. We even moved to Medway but always drive back to Gravesend to use Masums for Indian take away, they never fail to satisfy. Every now and then we will venture out to someone else closer to us and its always disappointing. You can't beat the quality and taste that Masums offer. It's mouth watering curry! The closest to home cooked curry I've tasted. If you don't mind spicy I would highly recommend the chicken tikka madras! Best I've ever had, we also recently tried the chefs special chicken jalfrazi which was amazing, full of distinctive flavour. If you prefer sweeter curries you could also try the Passanda or Dhansak.

I have used this Indian takeaway for years and have never received such awful service. I placed an order for a family dinner and spent £90. I decided to collect it as it would be quicker, once I got it home and was dish it up one dish was missing. I called the takeaway and said that a dish was missing and they said they would deliver the dish within 15mins. After 30mins I called back and they said it hadn’t left yet and it wouldn’t be long. Again I waited while my guests finished their meal I still hadn’t got mine. I called again but they kept picking up the phone then put it down (obviously they had caller I’d) so I called from my mobile and they answered. Again I had to explain the issue and they said that they were waiting for a delivery driver to get back. It did finally arrive 20mins later. The driver asked me to pay for the dish which I said no. The driver said that it was under new management and that people who had placed their order at 6.40pm was still waiting. I will not be using this takeaway again which is a shame as I have had nothing but good service from the previous owners.

Something has changed have always had a biryiani but this time chicken was dry not as good as it use to be. The mint sauce was completely different and the poppadoms were not good

The best curry in my area. I drive 6 miles to Masums. The food is excellent and consistent and the shop, kitchen area and chefs are spotless. Try the Green Herb Chicken Yum Yum!!!
