Excellent food and service the mix of curries were superb and the bread nans were the freshest I’ve ever had was absolutely top notch it will be my regular go to curry house from now on well done

The food is always delicious. Everything tastes extremely fresh. Poppadoms, paratha and onion bhaji are the best ever. Keep up the good work. Sadly we don’t live anywhere near Higham but if we did we would most definitely be regulars.

Just had to write a review, we have ordered from this restaurant many times and can’t fault it everything is always absolutely delicious and the politeness of phone manor and counter service is impeccable also the delivery service would highly recommend anyone to try this lovely place

One of the best Indian takeaways in the area! Always tastes amazing and delivered on time. I know during the pandemic they struggled to get orders out but cut them some slack for gods sake! They were giving out hundreds of free meals to the nhs during covid so they deserve some credit x

Staff very helpful, food very good, did have overcooked Okra but can forgive as the flavour was still good. Worth using this place as they work hard to get things right.

Friendly staff, amazing food really high quality 100% recomend it. Got a broken down with my truck and this take away was life saver :D

This is my second review, the last one being a year ago.I vowed then to never use it again, however after some other disappointments we revisited. We have now ordered roughly a dozen times and have not been disappointed. The food is always of good quality with delivery being punctual and polite. We had one incident which was quickly and politely resolved, which is all we expect. Great restaurant.

We have never eaten in but have their Takeaways often. The food is good quality with no complaints, the staff are always helpful and kind when ordering be it delivery or over the phone collection. We have lived near for about 3 years and have tried many different Indians but none top this.

Rude staff late food and order wrong will not order a take away from here no more very disappointing

The new owners have finally settled in and we had an excellent meal and servce..The menu has had new dishes added and it food very well presented,I could not eat all of mine and they were ery obliging in letting me take home the left overs for a tasty lunch the next day !! It is not very big so for larger parties need to book in advance at weekends

We have been ordering from here quite frequently, however recently we have been disappointed. The last time we ordered the food arrived warm at best. We ordered tonight and told 45/ to 1hr delivery. After 90 mins phoned and told ten minutes. Called twice more to be told it was on way. After 2 hrs we cancelled and they just didn't seem bothered. 10 mins later the food was at the door! I felt bad for the chap who delivered it. I will not be ordering from there again.

We have often passed this place but didnt realise it was a restaurant thought it was just a takeaway service. We found the place itself quite dated & really cold, the servers tried with heaters but it was still so cold!! 🥶 The food took a while getting to our table seeing as we were the only 2 customers in there!! The food was just about average, didn't have good, strong flavours for an Indian meal. Sorry but we will not be going back! 😐

I’ve ordered twice now from this restaurant and can’t fault it. The food is delicious, the delivery drivers polite and the delivery time outstanding, both times the orders have arrived early.

We ordered a takeaway from Anisa and when it arrived some of our order was missing, so had to ring up and then wait for someone to deliver it. I quite enjoyed my meal but my husband wasn't impressed with his. He said he wouldn't bother to order a takeaway from them again.

OK. Bit watery and tinny. Not horrible but average at best. Far better in gravesend available esp Shapla

ordered a takeaway and was advised wait would be one hour. After one and half hours phoned to chase it up. No apology offered just barked at the driver had left. Took 2 hours in all. Food was hot but that was about it. chicken kurma seemed micro waved left a puddle of water on the plate. Meat in all dishes was scarce. All curry dishes were tasteless and watery. Would not order from here again.

I’m always eating at this restaurant and always use for takeaways, the food is always great and very good service, been using for the past two years and never had a bad meal.

The food always tasted really good from Anisa. We usually order through Just Eat and the food arrives quickly and is always nice and hot.

We are local to this restaurant, and use it as often as we can. Take away is very good, although I normally try and collect take always - we have not yet had anything in the way of a bad meal from Anisa. This is only a very small restaurant, and is always good for chatting and catching up with friends as it isn't manic or bustling as larger restaurants normally tend to be. They do a 'banquet' deal during the weekdays which makes for a good value meal, but this is not available on Fri or weekends.

The food was adequate here, but service was non existent after the mains arrived. We were never offered desserts or additional drinks in the hour and a half preceding our plates being taken. Their takeaway service seems to take precedence over their restaurant.

Absolutely terrible service!! Waited nearly an hour and a half for food which turned up stone cold. When querying it over the phone and asking for either a full or partial refund the man was rude and evasive of the issue. Such a shame as myself and family order here quite regularly but I will make sure we never do again!!

Yet again an excellent meal with friends at The Anisa.The restaurant was full but service still good and prompt. and attentive Food was delicious and plentiful. No problem parking in surounding area.It offers home delivery , personal collection or eat in.

Was delivered early, best tasting Indian had in long time and will definitely use again. Also got a discount voucher in bag so will also try and visit soon.

He usado principalmente para Anisa entregaron un buen par de años, pero también he recogido en mi comida a casa de trabajo. Generalmente pedido via telefonica como algunas de las aplicaciones de alimentos no reflejan su mayor área de entrega.

We found Anisa via Hungry House and for the first time with this type of food you're never entirely sure what the food will be like. We were VERY pleasantly surprised the food was well cooked, tasty and arrived much earlier than the ETA which is always a good thing ! Since our first order it has become our favorite Indian Takeaway - which is saying something ! !

Fantastic service, fantastic food. It really is as simple as that. We have fussy eaters in our household and they never mind adapting the dishes etc and the food is always piping hot and tastes great!

After finding Anisa Indian Takeaway via Hungry House I was very pleasantly surprised at the top quality of the food. The service so far has always been a lot quicker than the estimated delivery time with the quality and size of the portions to be first class and they are now always my first choice for an Indian Takeaway ! ! On the recommendation of friends, my Wife and I came here for dinner last night....We were exceedingly impressed.The service from our waiter Enam, was attentive but not intrusive, the menu selection was really quite vast with some items on the 'Specials' list that I hadn't come accross elsewhere and the prices were quite remarkable, being 20 - 25% less than all the local rivals.Despite the low cost, the food was delicious and the portion sizes very generous indeed. I had a Lamb Pasanda with House Special rice. My Wife had a Special Biriyani. We shared Aloo Ghobi and Mushroom Bhaji side dishes and fantastically light Naan breads. All were truely beyond our expectations.....With drinks (quite a few....), starters, and a special 'banquet deal' on meals during the week that my Wife opted for, the bill, that I was expecting to be over £80....... Was just £51! ....... And we were given a complimentary drink before we left, (with a doggie bag....)To sum up.... Great quality food and exceptional value. I just wish we lived near enough to make this a more regular venue.

Its such a fast home delivery, and its my favourite indian restaurant by far. nothing compares to it! The food is sooo good. The customer service is always fantastic too! nothing i can say bad, i really wanna eat at the restaurant soon as well! 10/10 for this place!!!

Restaurants posing as 'Indian' should make it clear that they are serving halal meat, so that an informed choice can be made about whether they wish to have food sourced from this barbaric practice.

Tried here with a friend for a takeaway. Not my usal takeaway but thought id let her pick. It was good food, friendly staff. The wait for the food was half hour, which is nothing. Overall a good service & i would defo use again :)

Prawns still had intestinal tract through them which really put us off... Taste was not great! Lamb madras extremely greasy.. Meat was very fatty and bland taste. For some reason they stick a tomato in every dish like it's going to help... Really doesn't!! Disappointed and would not recommend, unless you like poo of course.

Lovely food! Especially over the busy Christmas period when the restaurant was buzzing! Great that the quality in the dishes was not compromised with service at the ready - as usual!

Other halfs chicken tikka masala came without any sauce? So he had a very dry curry. I had the prawn korma and it was LOVELY.

Visited the Anisa last night, had a brilliant meal, shame the restaurant was so quiet. The food was delicately flavoured and served in very generous portions... Especially the starters! Will definitely visit again.

I recently visited Anisa after a very long time, in fact since June 2013 follwing a bad experience. I have to say what a transformation the new owner has made. Their style of cooking and their customer friendly service has won me over. I will not hesitate to visit this place again and recommend others to do the same.

Was a bit sceptical to try this restaurant at first as it is very small and never seemed busy, however it has since become my favourite curry house, ever. The food is absolutely fantastic, genuinely the best chicken tikka I have ever tasted! The portions are huge, especially for such a small place! The staff are brilliant, polite and always right at the first time of asking. Excellent value for money. Even noticed particularly at weekends the restaurant is packed! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Even after moving house, we still order from this one. However I'm starting to wonder why we bother with them! The food is delicious. I'd say they cook the best tasting curry I have ever had. But the service and delivery time from them is terrible! Twice in a row our food has been delivered extremely late. Last night we ordered at 7:15 pm. After multiple phone calls and being assured 'it's 10 minutes away' we finally got our food at around 10:00 pm. After being refused a refund or any compensation, I just closed the door on the excuses that were said to me. When unpacking the food at the dinner table it seemed it had all been thrown in the bag quickly to get it out the door to us...there was more sauce in the bag that on my plate! Clearly had forgotten or lost our order. Not happy at all. They have lost a customer in us!

Very friendly staff, both by phone and in person. Portion size really good. Tasty food with good selection on the menu. Only discovered this little hideaway curry house in the past few months and would recommend highly. Beats all other curry in the area. Great food great price.
