This restaurant is an interesting one. The food as an Indian side taste to it, but this restaurant is made more for the white people. It really does not reach the depth of flavour as other Indian restaurant. We ordered Onion Bhaji, Chili Paneer, Dal Bukhara, and Super Rich Ice Cream. The Onion Bhaji was excellent, really ordered flavour and balance of onion and filling. The Chilli Paneer was great to. The Dal Bukhara (Dal Makani) was good but needs more spice and Naan was average. Lastly, the ice-cream was super rich and chocolate-y. The service was excellent but was a bit slow as they were a staff down. Overall, this restaurant is more of a white-Indian restaurant, but it was average afterall.

Disappointment We ordered a takeaway consisting of a curry and chicken side. The chicken in the curry was excessively dry and hard making it almost inedible. The meat in the side was similar albeit only minimally better. We’re local and have been here previously but had it not been a takeaway we would have returned the meal.

I often go here to get my lunch whilst at work. I have had most things from the menu and they are all so delicious and authentic-tasting. The ingredients are also good quality and it’s great value for money.

Good food, uniquely designed flavors in different dishes. Out of the dishes we liked the prawn the best. Atmosphere is a bit loud. If you are expecting spicy curry, this would not be the place for spicy food lovers. Service was great! Very knowledgeable server and fast.

Great meal - especially recommend the Saag Paneer - super creamy and delicious, with a very generous portion - and the Broccoli 65 fritters - really fresh and flavourful. Everything was well made and still delivered very quickly too. Highly recommend Vai's Kitchen for beautiful Karalan food!

Chicken pasanda and keema nan and the mogul special fried rice were all delicious. The restaurant and decor felt quite old and dated but it makes up for the attentive friendly service and the delicious food. They offer a 4 course a la carte menu for £15 per person on Sundays and Thursdays. I will definitely go back.

Gaylord is an excellent value-for-money Indian restaurant in Weybridge, our neighbourhood. The staff is friendly, courteous, and prompt in providing an amicable dining experience. Dishes like grill platters in the starters are tastefully served with salad. We ordered tarka daal and saag aloo with tandoori roti and buttered naan in the mains, which we enjoyed and relished. Not to forget that the pappadum platter with mixed relishes are an absolute must to start the dining experience here.

We were staying nearby at the Oatlands park hotel and walked to this curry house on our second night. It was early evening in a Sunday so there was only one other table occupied so it did lack a bit of atmosphere. But the restaurant was nicely furnished, modern and very spacious. The staff were friendly but didn’t speak much English. The menu is a bit more limited than a normal curry house but there was plenty to choose from. We were pleased with the lamb curry and Chicken tikka. Nice portion sizes and the peshwari nan was gorgeous. Average price.
