Indian Summer Takeaway in Elmbridge

Love the food cant get better in area BUT never answer phone cant order on website as sez closed .... tried just eat again sez closed.... tried for over half hour to put order in via phone not answering... NOT FIRST TIME happens a lot. Great food but need to address the above sure your loosing so much business as I'm sure I'm not the only one.

We're huge fans of Indian Summer. Traditional Indian food done well. No frills, but no high prices either. The daal is especially great. Our only point would be that the naan always tastes sweet - we get a roti instead

Friendly staff. Tasty food that wasn't too spicy so the flavours really came through. Service was quick.

Not a massive take away fan but like to give them a try a couple of times a month and the food from Indian Summer is by far the best. Most of the takeaways are restaurants which means that they tend to be more expensive and you are fighting the folk eating in for your food. Indian Summer is the opposite but if they decide to open a site down place I'd be there like a shot. Great food, great price and a great range too - work your way through the chef's specials and you will not be disappointed - recommend!

Esta pequeña india compite con la Rosa, calle abajo. Pensamos probar este como la Rosa es bastante caro y no hemos mirado atrás!La calidad de la comida es estupenda, ya que no hay aceite, muvh relación calidad-precio es muy buena y el servicio es fantástico, con el personal siempre amable reconociendo el hecho de que son un habitual. (que ya se han convertido en una familia)No elegir otro indio alrededor desde entonces.

I order for this take away on a regular basis. It is good value for money and the staff are really helpful and friendly.

Pedimos una comida para llevar esta noche basándonos en las buenas reseñas de aquí y no nos decepcionó. Ordenados y paga en línea y la comida llegó poco después.La comida era increíble, pollo tikka rogan y pollo tikka masalaa eran muy agradables. Lados vegetales estaban muy sabrosos.La comida estaba bien caliente y sin pedir desde aquí la próxima vez.Sin duda, pruébalo, no te defraudará.

Pedí este llevar porque está muy cerca de mi casa. Para mi sorpresa, era delicioso, la comida llegó muy rápido y estaba bien lleno (odio cuando la bolsa de plástico es todo sucio con goteras de curry). Lo recomiendo totalmente. Nunca mejor! Madras

Me gusta mucho la casa y se entrega curries usa el mismo para llevar muy buena durante muchos años. Pero encontré Kukd. com que es un sitio en línea que promete comprar restaurante comidas para niños en Bangladesh cuando pides una comida por sí mismo. Mi curry no aparece normal, así que pensé que iba a probar algo nuevo. El menú de Verano Indio parecía realmente interesante, que no la entrega gratuita de mi zona, y me estaban dando 10% de descuento! Vale la pena una punt pensé. Así la comida llegó a tiempo. Y todo estaba delicioso! Gambas puré inicial estaba lleno de langostinos y pan precioso. La pierna de cordero real era increíble y licitación de nada. De hecho, todo estaba muy bueno. Entregar el hombre educado y eficiente. La comida aún caliente.Todo lo que necesito ahora es persuadirlos a hacer mi favorito de arranque, Nargis Kebab, y me quedaré en curry en el cielo. ¡Genial!

This has become our local Indian take away. Under new ownership, it produces good tasty Indian food. Run by a young team, the menu is varied and dishes freshly cooked with little gee. Great!

Ordered from this new restaurant as we had a flyer dropped through our letter box. We ordered over the phone on a Friday night, he did explain it would take 50 mins as they were busy..

Have been going here since the new folks took over. Cannot fault the staff, food or service. The best Dhansak ever.

Have had two takeaways from Indian Summer now and both times have been excellent. Friendly staff and excellent food can't really ask for more.

This takeaway has recently been taken over by a family and it really shows. The food is great and the service is very friendly and welcoming. What more could you want from your village takeaway.

Having walked past this takeaway on Wednesday evening, when we were drawn by the amazing aromas, we decided to give Indian Summer a try on Friday night. We're very glad we did! Absolutely fantastic food. We had a Chicken Tikka Balti and a Lamb Rogan as mains, and both were lovely. Great, generous portion sizes, and meat that you could recognise as fresh and succulent, and tasting like it was meant to! So many takeaways seem to do something to their chicken, lamb and beef that I believe you could close your eyes and not actually recognise it from taste alone. Not so here. The flavours of the tandoor came through in the chicken breast tikka and then the balti tangy spiciness was there. The lamb was not overcooked and was still tender. Again, something of a rarity. The mushroom rice and plain rice were good, as you'd imagine. We also had a lovely Sag Paneer. Our only slight disappointment was with the tandoori roti we ordered. The menu said it was wholemeal, which is what we wanted, but it clearly wasn't, due to its colour, and it wasn't as soft as others rotis we've had everywhere else...a little hard. The people in the takeaway, including Nad, seemed a very friendly bunch too. As mentioned though, overall we loved the meal and will definitely order again and would highly recommend.

Albeit being very, very local to me I had really given up on this place - but when the new owners seemed to put so much effort into their new venture I decided to give it one more go, so very glad I did . It has been a transformation...the quality is fantastic and the service impressive. I can honestly say I have had possibly the best Indian food I have ever eaten from here. Well done to everyone involved.

Much improved since recent new management. Excellent food - wouldn't go anywhere else! Owners and staff very welcoming and pay lots attention to detail.
