The best restaurants serving Indian food in Eastbourne South East

What a great find - recommended by a friend and went with a group of girls. We all had the taster curry dish and highly recommend it was delicious. If you like Indian food you'll love the Kerala flavours in their dishes

Was recommended Dolma kitchen by a friend- it did not disappoint! Momos were the best! Food was lovely - owner was really helpful and advised us regarding dishes to order - he was really friendly and chatty. Food was tasty hot and presented well. Cannot fault anything it was all delicious . Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning. Thank you 🤩

Went for first time and found it superb. Prices were very reasonable. Staff excellent. My missus had prawns in a hot curry, think it was chettinad, I had lamb (lamb shank off the bone) that was some type of gosht and paratha, nan and veg rice and their equivalent to bombay potatoes so they are not bombay style but a different city and they were superb, never seen them anywhere else. The food was OUTSTANDING. Eat here you won't be disappointed.

Dinner with friends. Delicious authentic food. Amazing jalfrezi and danzak. Fab peshwari nans. Great wine. Superb service.

Fabulous lamb rogon josh. Best lunch I have had in Eastbourne. Perfect service and fair pricing. I forgot to mention the shish kebab was also very tasty. This restaurant is a real gem.

Neither did any of the females enjoy the meal or service, kids waited almoat an hour with only 2 popdoms to share between 6 people, not a penny discount cost us almost one hundred pounds, I've made this restaurant on the blacklist so that we NEVER ever go there again, even by mistake. Food was smelling like it was old re microwaved. Chicken tikka was not even red, to be honest I am God fearing, a good Muslim I wouldn't write this if this was not true, my Allah is watching, this service was totally nonsense. We are Muslim's so are they, they didn't even bother to give 3 popdoms between 6 of us although it was almost an hour wait for old reheated food. Sad.

Forgot one of the curry’s I ordered. The onion bhajis we couldn’t eat as they was like rocks. And I can’t even get a refund on the food the was missed. Won’t be ordering again.

This restaurant has a great atmosphere and the staff are good. I found the dishes too hot for the dish I chose and there were no hot wipes offered after the meal. I would go again though.

Unfortunately It has been a few months since we last visited. Tonight the Ashoka again showed why in our opinion it is absolutely the best Indian restaurant in the area. The service and staff were outstanding; attentive, professional and friendly as always. The food was brilliant: Chicken Jalfrezi, Chicken Chittinad, Chicken Passanda and King Prawn Naga were all balanced and delicious. All the accompaniments were also excellent. Thank you to all the staff in the restaurant and in the kitchen. We’ll be back soon and would recommend everyone to visit. You will not be disappointed!

What a lovely place, visited last night with lot of family members who love indian food and we all had a amazing time, the menu is not your usual Indian variety but a really good selection of different and excellent Indian cuisine, perfect location, near seafront, we ordered lot of different dishes and they all were equally tasty and delicious, words cannot describe how amazing the food is here and how helpful n friendly the staff were, lots of unusual dishes and great flavours, huge extensive menu which caters for everyone meat lovers,fish chicken and lots of vegan and gluten free dishes, we highly recommend this place and we cannot wait o go back in December for our Christmas celebration meal, they'll be open on Christmas day and boxing day as well so we planning to go there again on boxing day, we will see you guys soon, thanks
