The best restaurants serving Indian food in North West

It’s only fair to start with the fact that my friend who booked us in regularly eats here and it’s great. However, I have a shellfish allergy and so I phoned the day before to check they can cater for that. I spoke to the manager who said they don’t have shellfish. I then pointed out that the starters alone contain many prawn dishes and he said yes, they do prawns. He obviously didn’t know that prawns are shellfish. This was a worrying start but I carried on with my query. Could they cater for a shellfish allergy? He said yes they could do a shellfish free meal. I asked if that means they would have a shellfish free area to prep my meal. ‘No’ was the answer, the kitchen is too small. I just had a drink with my friends and went home to eat. It seemed way too risky. Also another friend who came couldn’t eat because she is vegan and they couldn’t cater for her either. I feel sad giving a bad review but in the case of allergies, this is very serious and so I thought I’d post. The rest of the company had a lovely time there but if you have an allergy, you can now make an informed decision about whether to eat at this restaurant.

well established Indian restaurant never tastes better food in my traveling career then iin barinda restaurant in wilmslow would highly recommend this restaurant

Popular local crèche and bar. This is a decent little local bar that suffers from its popularity with parents, who seem to bring their children here to ignore them and let them run wild. The selection of alcoholic drinks is decent, though like with most places these days the offerings tend to be heavy on the IPA end of the vast beer spectrum, and the staff are helpful and polite. Would be greatly improved by a more adult-friendly atmosphere, befitting its status as a bar.

Years and years of great meals. Hubby (Paul ) says it’s the only Indian (and he’s been hundreds ) that can make him a great jalfrezi phall hot. Great restaurant great food and really helpful friendly staff. I think Paul loves the anmol more than he loves me 😂

Sent me a fifteen percent off thing online and when I tried to order through it said they were closed

I rate this takeaway as 1 of the best in a 10 mile radius . Growing up and going to school in Rusholme Manchester around around the curry mile and spending a lot of time both working and holidaying in INDIA,i feel i can class myself as a connoisseur when it comes to knowing the diffrence between an excellent curry and a poor run of the mill one.

the poppadoms was so soft that it could be folded. the chips were like rubber obviously re heated. the madras and nann bread was nice. so sad this is usually amazing food

Not the usual takeaway service, standard of food or delivery. I think it may be under new ownership.

This Indian is great for 5 courses for £18.You can take your own alcohol as they dont serve this.The food is tremendous great value for money and comes to you very quick.

Fabulous 👌 A great Indian. Lovely food. Flavours good and staff where fantastic. You can also take your own alcohol, much cheaper than anywhere else.

Ordered for the first time, had a lamb tikka jalfrezi and garlic rice with a garlic chilli naan, must’ve been by far the best curry I’ve had in a long time, great flavour, great spice, everything was hot when delivered, see you again soon 🙏🏼
