The best restaurants serving Indian food in North West

what an absolute discovery we made yesterday. we were out on a walk in Frodsham and went past the shop frontage that is NAGA. we both love a good Indian so we thought we will try it. from the first moment we were made to feel like returning friends. drinks, were ordered. poppas with 6 flavours on the chutney tray gave a promise of the delights to follow. we ordered mixed starter for two and every item was a taste sensation. no rushing on the way to the main course. we both tried house specialities and we were not disappointed. my dish ( can't remember the exact name) was a sort of medium lamb curry with hints of citrus...sounds mad but it really works. Peshawari naan was great too. portion sizes were extra large which resulted in a large doggy bag to be taken home. all in all, a first visit that will not be the last. a highly recommended taste experience. see you in two weeks.!!! 10/10

We came here tonight as a very special occasion for the three of us. Kirsty greeted us at the door with a massive smile. I told her of our reason for visiting and she was ace. The seat she got us was perfect. She chatted with my girls for a while and then James came over to serve us. It was exceptional . The food was amazing and the service even better. They then surprised us with a brownie which totally topped off an amazing night. Kirsty then reappeared to make sure our night was what we wanted and to be fair they excelled at all levels. Fantastic service and food ! Thank you so much we will be back ❤️

Truly excellent Indian food , great service one of the best.a good selection of dishes strangely no prawn tandoori but we will forgive that.

Excellent food, staff were so friendly and could not do enough for us. We were celebrating as a family for my fathers 80th birthday. Sam and his team went above and beyond to make the occasion so special. The food was fantastic as always and great value for money! Best Indian in Chorley for both food and service.

Absolutely horrendous. Food is not authenticly Indian, not better that any Indian Take Away from no where. Service is not great, they try to impress you but fail at delivering. 1 HOUR wait for mains! Incredibly overpriced too, nearly 80 pounds for 2 person dinner. Also whats up with the bubbles?

Went for the all you can eat Sunday offer. Good choice of starters including poppadoms and dips. Good choice of curry. You can order a nan bread which is included. Got two meal deals. Two beers and two sambucas for just over 40quid. Winner. Loved it

Absolutely perfect! Super hot when delivered and really tasty. Good onion bahjis too... They were huge!

Take away Give you a second chance as the first was bland small amount of meat Well you did it again All the same Bland no taste and had hotter zinger burger . Sorry but you need to pick your game up with so much choice out there .

Popped in for a meal, no booking, but we were made most welcome, food was fresh, portions large, very flavourful, staff friendly, would recommend to other potential diners.

Excellent restaurant quality food,always hot and never gives me indigestion unlike other places… our go to place for Indian food.

We eat here on a regular basis - at least once a week and can’t fault the food or the service. Ricky the owner is absolutely amazing and is always there with a warm welcome and a funny tale to tell. 5* in every way!

This is our go to place for the best Indian food around. The atmosphere is great and the staff go out of their way to make you feel special. I’m so glad this restaurant it’s only a mile away from where we live. Top marks for everything. If there is any family occasion we will be there and we have a big family.

Terrible atmosphere, layout, and most of all, food + very expensive. Very bland food, cramped layout & decor is a facade (whitewash over brick). Completely pretentiouse.

Many times we been to rumi restaurant the previous place was nice and better. Services was good, food also good but we can't find more food options on menu don't know why...

Fantastic.. we loved it!! Chicken Sagwala & Dupiaza delicious & plenty of meat, naan tasty too….our new favourite takeaway!
