The best restaurants serving Indian food in North West

We have eaten in the Basmati a few times but it was cold and snowy and we didn't feel like venturing out so ordered a takeaway on line for delivery. Extremely easy to place the order and pay and you can set up an account, so will be even more straightforward next time. Website tells you approximately how long delivery will be but it arrived 15 mins early. Portions are good size and the quality of the food was excellent. Big chunks of chicken and meat in the dishes. Everything was really tasty. Will definitely be ordering from here again.

Food was great and the service was as equally as good. Me and my girlfriend went here for some food and couldn't fault it by any means, if anything there was too much food by the time we were full and we ended up taking some of it home with us

Welcoming staff and lovely place. Really good food as always and good portions sizes also a good variety of dishes. The meal offers through the week have a good choice too, value for money 😊👍 BYOB is great , they have a selection of soft drinks to accommodate everyone. We have been lots of times through the years , its really great for family occasions too 😁👍 10 out of 10

Last night, prior to going to the rugby, I went to this restaurant. I ordered Tandoori chicken, which was fantastic, beautifully cooked, and really tasty. It came with a choice of a curry sauce, which I chose Madras, again this was spiced to perfection. The service was very friendly and I can highly recommend this establishment.

Order chicken tikka Marsala full of big pieces of chilli and big chunks of pineapple never had all that in one before

worker was nice very cheap prices and the worker even brought out my food for me the tikka masala was very nice and plenty of chicken and rice on my plate pompedoms were nice and large boss man gave me and my husband a free 1l bottle of coca-cola and asked us how our food was good for family visits will be going again

Really disappointed by this place tonight, got in around 6:15 for our booking and after being seated we immediately asked if we could order our 1 year olds meal first as we would like to get him fed as soon as possible which the guy understood and said that was ok. After poppadoms and chutneys about an hour had gone by but still no kids meal, we was getting worried at this point and baby getting very restless so got up to ask the guy if he could check that the kids meal had been ordered, guy goes into the back and comes out to confirm this is getting done, an hour and a half later and finally food comes out but no kids meal at all, I wasn't happy to say the least, when I asked about the kids meal he looks at the ticket confused but says oh they'll just go get it, it was clear they hadn't even started this meal and was only just starting to cook it now, after another 5-10 minutes of waiting I asked the guys to just leave the kids meal as by now it was too late and we had to try and give him some of ours instead. Two guys came over to apologise about this and then tried to make out they was doing us a big favor by not charging us for this kids meal (oh thanks for not charging me for a meal that we didn't receive 👍) I was livid at this point and that obviously just made things even worse, all in all a massively disappointing visit and definitely wouldn't recommend taking any kids here. Shocking service.

Onions, onions and more onions! Pickle tray - mint sauce was flourescent green, never seen anything like it! Onions were redder than tomatoes. Seriously, how much colourant do you need to use. I also thought there was a strange smell from the pickles which left a distasteful aftertaste. Ordered chicken Shahlik, which was very salty, small amounts of chicken, again, too many onions. The curry sauce also full of onion..... What's with all of the onions, I hear you cry! When asked how our food was we politely gave our feedback, was little response from the elderly gentleman who we found to be rather arrogant and indifferent. A younger member of staff spoke to us, of which I asked if he would eat what we had been served.... Neither confirmed nor denied so take what you will from that one! But hey, an onion a day keeps everyone away.... and that'll be the case with us returning to this restaurant!

Absolutely terrible service and it's getting worse.

Placed an order online and the money was taken. I called to check some of the ingredients as I have an allergy. The person I spoke to hung up pretty quick and then stopped answering the phone. So I went to the store and they said they it’s under new ownership and it’s the previous owners who have taken my money and I need to contact them for a refund.

Ordered food and when it arrived we had multiple items missing. Spent over an hour calling but never got an answer. Also tried messaging but still not got a response. Be careful

Absolutely outstanding food I order from here all the time food is always hot, tried most of the menu and literally can’t fault it, staff are fantastic and this is by far the nicest Indian restaurant/takeaway on the Wirral, you can dine in or take away. GET YOUR ORDERS IN YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
