What a little gem of a cafe! Next to a decent sized car park, we popped into Yam Frae Yam on a disgustingly wet Saturday afternoon. We had missed the breakfast menu (served until 12) but one of us had a bacon and brie panini and lemon meringue blondie. Both were delicious and great quality. We both also had coffees which were expertly made. The staff were particularly friendly and helpful, even giving us recommendations on walking trails locally and showing us specific routes on Google maps. Loved the unusual decor and the cafe felt spacious - unlike many others where you feel like you're sat on top of other customers! A lovely place to spend a few hours on a rainy afternoon. We hope to return again and sample the breakfast menu!
And a shout out to the young lad working there who served our drinks and food and was proactive in clearing our table.
Lovely family run restaurant, which adds to the experience and authenticity. Great food at affordable prices. Service very good. We enjoyed the lamb and chicken. Enjoyed the bring your own drinks. Desserts also very nice. Well worth a visit.
In town to do a few jobs and decided to treat myself to a quiet breakfast. Found this little gem of a cafe and it was an absolute win from start to finish. Super friendly staff, lovely surroundings and a great sounding menu. A great tasting menu as well If my traditional breakfast was anything to go by. Top quality produce and all cooked really well. This is definitely on my list to return to now…well worth a visit
The toastie we had was super tasty and I really enjoyed it. The bread was fresh and the filling delicious. It was a bit odd that they weren’t served on plates, just in cardboard holders, which made eating them awkward. The venue itself has a cool Scandi feel. Only giving 4 stars on account of the fact that it wasn’t super clean- the toilet was grubby and all the glasses/ crockery were slightly sticky
First time here and will def be back food was lovely, fresh and very well presented. Staff very helpful and attentive, cafe itself was comfortable clean and very welcoming. Over all a lovely place to visit and enjoy the atmosphere wkll beautiful coffee and food
Having booked a table in another pub in the village and found it wanting, we headed over to this one. It appeared that this was where the locals go, as it was busy compared to the other. Great range of beers and ales, unlike the other place that had one. Loved the pie and peas and came away with a very cheap bar tab... Thank you.
Wrays is a funky lil space in the heartland of South Manchester. Heart being the operative word, Lilian couldn’t do enough for us, even changing the music to 80’s soul!
We were made to feel right at home from the off.
The vibe and menu is spot on. Everything we ordered was fresh, super tasty and very reasonably priced.
Thank you Wrays so much for your warm welcome and amazing food. A gem of a place.
Most excellent cafe. Staff very friendly and cafe roomy, clean with most comfortable chairs. We had a couple of very tasty crepes with coffees. Does other food and would highly recommend. Right opposite the Cathedral, so great place to stop. Visit this cafe.
Hemos visitado anteriormente y decidimos llevar a nuestros amigos a cenar.
