Holden Tea Rooms in Rossendale

We came as a family for afternoon tea as a late Mother’s Day treat and it was absolutely amazing! The selection of sandwiches was great and the food was unreal. We couldn’t finish it all so got boxes to take away our sweet treats. We were all waddling out afterwards. 10/10 and we will definitely be back for more ❤️

We have passed this spot on numerous occasions on our way to Manchester, but on our return the other day fancied a drink after a frustrating time in the city !!. Fancied having a look at some of the antique stalls as well, which were well laid out and prices looked reasonable. The tea room was busy but they got us a seat almost straight away. We orderd two teas which were very prompt in coming and served by a most pleasant older gentleman. I also purchased a fruit scone for my wife ( very nice and a decent size ) and a millionaire shortbread for myself. These were super choices. In fact the shortbread was massive and perhaps the best I have ever tasted it was that good!!. Overall a great experience with friendly efficient staff who know the meaning of customer service...The main menu food looked great as well, so we shall certainly be back when we want a light lunch!! Prices are very reasonable ....Well done to all at the Holden

I took my mum for afternoon tea, the food was delicious. Staff are lovely and couldn’t be more attentive. Good value for money and it’s impossible to eat it all, we took our cake choice home.

What a fantastic visit to Holden Tea Room! I visited with my partner after a visit to the antiques shop next door. We were greeted by several friendly and approachable members of staff, all with smiles on their faces. We were quickly seated and given a menu. Our orders were promptly taken and very just as quick to be served to us! Piping hot food and great quality! We both had cream cheese and salmon bagel, cauliflower cheese soup and a portion of chips to share. The portions were very generous. Throughout our duration, all members of staff we polite, happy and just generally nice to be around. It is evident that they pride themselves on quality service and you're not just a number. The staff also ensured that we enjoyed our food. Id left some soup and they questioned to make sure I had enjoyed. I was just full! Reasonably priced menu. Around £30 for a frappe each, 2x bagel and soup and chips to share. We gave a well deserved tip and wil certainly be returning!

We had such a fantastic breakfast here the other morning, the food was outstanding and made perfectly! The staff are always so lovely and friendly, thank you very much.
