The best restaurants serving Indian food in London

He comido en muchos restaurantes indios en la India y en el Reino Unido y esta fue una de las peores comidas indias que he tenido. Cada plato sabía a perfume. Los poppadoms eran porciones diminutas con botes pequeños de chapuzones, tan pequeños. El menú era muy pequeña opción también. un pequeño punto a tener en cuenta es que al pedir alcohol especificar si quieres uno individual o doble ya que automáticamente me dieron doble y no lo pedí ! ! ! ! Podría haber conducido esto es un truco terrible. Me decepcionó mucho toda la experiencia. La comida era muy cara y además nunca en un millón de años habría dicho que este era un restaurante Michelin.

Amazing, these guys really know how to produce a premium curry. The flavours, the portions and quality of the meat is 5 star. The place is always so clean, customer service is really good and I feel so welcome and satisfied when I leave. Definitely one of the best if not the best around. Well worth the money.

Always had good food from here. Not sure if chef has changed or on holiday, definitely not the same quality.

Lovely restaurant with one of the best Indian meals that I have ever had. Service was impeccable. Loved the art and the overall attention for detail.

stuffed parantha and keema ricewas good .. garlic naan came burnt and lamb butter curry was not good.

We have visited the restaurant several times and had lovely meals so decided tonight to order a takeaway. Very disappointed in our meal nothing like we had in the restaurant. The vegetable curry was like a watery stew with a sprinkling of curry powder. The bombay aloo was just boiled potatoes with a very weak sauce. The lemon rice didn't taste of lemon . Sadly we will not be repeating our experience and will look else where for our curry

We had our wedding reception at Hankies and it was absolutely fantastic. The food, the atmosphere and the service all exceeded our expectations and our guests were raving about the food long after the event. A special thank you to Florian who was wonderful to work with – he was extremely responsive, reassured us that everything was in hand and delivered the most memorable event for us. We could not recommend Hankies and the team enough!

Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff

We went here after a long day and night cricket match. Advance reservation is almost mandatory. We were treated to great three course meal. All authentic “beyond boundaries” in true sense. I have never seen such a varied menu in small establishment. Starter to coffee and desert attention to fine detail is impeccable. Drinks are slightly on expensive - a can of 0% ALE was £7-50 plus 13% service charge Other than that no complaints as the ambience and food were exceptional. The staff explained unfamiliar dishes very well to all three of us with different tastes and different backgrounds.

Not been for year. But back local. Amazing food and service. Lamb tikka jalfrezi was amazing. Staff and management great, friendly and very attentive. Will be back again The restaurant is so clean and authentic.

a very simple small room with good food and helpful service. An enjoyable experience but it becomes noisy as it fills up. No soft surfaces to absorb the sound of diners and drinkers and table tops are not well wiped. The one toilet directly off the dining room via the washbasin is dirty, neglected and off putting. It needs constant cleaning of all surfaces. It should be obvious to the manager.. if not it should be reported. Perhaps a woman should be in charge. ?

Went for Sunday roast. Worst one ever! The beef was two very thin, overcooked slices - shoe leather! Potatoes were so hard and dry you couldn’t cut through them. Good atmosphere in the bar, but I’d say go for drinks, not food.

So good the first time, we had to return! Authentic, genuine Indian cuisine. Food was outstanding, staff were very friendly and knowledgeable when describing the dishes. In a quiet side street away from the hustle and bustle of Euston Rd. Thoroughly recommend.
