We celebrated my 40th birthday, and it was a lovely experience. We had an excellent waiter called Ishwal who took care of us and answered all of our questions and dietary requirements.

Great food! Excellent service. Will definitely go again! Had the paneer and Cobra beef. Shared mains - loved the lentils!

We were staying in the LaLit for one night, so decided to try the restaurant - because the rest of the hotel was so impressive, and the restaurant had great reviews! Totally worth it, would highly recommend. The food was amazing, so flavoursome, service was excellent and the restaurant was such a great space. Would highly recommend the butter chicken and the lamb shank. The butter chicken sauce with the cheese Kulcha bread was amazing!

Visiting London for the first time and wanted to do "high tea" and found this great "high chai" place! Ishwar took great care of us and talked us through the menu, the history of the building, and overall made us have a great time.

The High Chai was incredible! Ishwar was our server and he was very knowledgeable and explained each item and the history of the building. The vegetarian course was delicious and the masala chai and lassi were amazing.

The ambience of the restaurant is good. Food was served on-time, but the quantity of starters was small, which makes it expensive. We ordered chicken alleppey curry, which did not have authentic taste. Desserts were yummy and fulfilling.

The dining room is fabulous and the food lived up to it. The staff were efficient and professional. Gayathri, in particular , was charming. Our dinners were all relaxed and delicious. So much, that we ate in the hotel every night of our stay.

Our server was Phuong, and everything came out quick and was good 👍 We came on Easter and had the whole place to ourselves!

Came for afternoon tea. It’s refillable and delicious. The staff were super friendly. I thought the price was good, much cheaper than other afternoon teas and with unlimited refills is really good value. I will come back to try the Al a carte.

The most ridiculous Indian food I’ve ever had. The staff, Rinta especially, was exceptionally attentive. The decor is beautiful - they’ve turned this prior school into a gorgeous dining room with the blue walls and sparkling blue chandeliers. I could & would eat here weekly if I lived nearby.

We had one of the best experiences in Lalit London. Came to celebrate our 8th anniversary for High Chai which had a very lavish selection of finger foods , Indian desserts and ofcourse the Masala tea. Taste was closest to what I would expect in a fine restaurant in India. Kudos to the team for maintaining amazing service, excellent food and a very high standard.
