I had Chicken Tikka Masala (which had coconut in it, and was divine!) Sag Aloo, Peshawar naan, onion bhaji and vegetable samosas. All of these items were cooked in front of me and were absolutely delicious. Portions are big and really good value for money. I will definitely be using this place again. Service is friendly, but could be a little quicker. Apart from that, this food is authentic (I've been to India many times, and this is the real deal!) delicious and good value for money.

The food was absolutely rubbish. I've been eating from this place for years, it has gone down hill big time. The food use to be made with love but now its rubbish and very dry. This evening I ordered some dinner hoping it was going to be nice.and to my surprise it was Sht. The customer service is terrible The owners don't care anymore the husband and his wife use to run it I will be letting everyone know keep well away.

The food is dicusting, very poor service the onion barji are very dry, the chicken pocoras was not fresh just full of pastry and the curry was very thick, they use to be great but gone down hill, when you cook it should be made with love. I have noticed on the reviews there is only a 3 month and a 7 month then 4 years ago so I know they take the reviews down, the owners don't care the owners wife had things running nicely at one point then she left. Our go-to spot for takeaway in Walworth / elephant & castle. Chicken tikka roll, chana masala, and saag are particularly good. Very affordable and delicious ! Highly recommend.

The boss was there with his wife. I asked for mild chicken curry with vegetables. It was cooked so well, just the right amount of spice. Next time I will buy the rice as well!

Great atmosphere in the morning On market day especially breakfast time my favourite , served the best lamb shank Nehari in Town..always same taste never go wrong .. keema naan another speciality also ‘The glorious lamb curry’ too delicious.. service impeccable, price wise always right no joking ! I’ve been going here since I was young and they always been very affordable with good quality food. Recently they’ve increased their prices and the quality has gone all the way down. The lamb used to be so nice and succulent, recently the lamb is very fatty and not edible which is crazy because they increased the price of their curries by over a pound. The sizes have got smaller and the overall taste isn’t the same. The people that work here now aren’t that friendly. Also they’re cash only which is so inconvenient. To conclude, food is nice but they’ve gone down hill which is disappointing for a long time costumer like myself.

Warning: CASH ONLY We ordered 3 set of Biryani’s: Food 5/10 They told us at the end that they take only cash and no card payments. There is no board saying that. We didn’t have any cash on us and the Pathan guy was extremely rude about the whole situation: said we shouldn’t come next time and kept mum king the whole time. His other colleague then gave us his bank details to transfer the money. Totally spilt our mood, not exactly the kind of behavior one expects from any one let alone at a place you go to buy something. Kindness and politeness above all. But even the food wasn’t the best: so not going there again.

Perfectly adequate lamb curry but onion bhaji was a joyless puck of dubious freshness. Service very much of the couldn’t-give-a-toss variety. Unforgivably in this day and age, they’re cash-only and to make matters worse there’s no sign to that effect, necessitating a last-minute nip to a nearby ATM. Seeing as I just don’t use cash any more and generally avoid cash-only businesses, in future would I go out of my way and withdraw cash just so I could fill up here? Sadly not.

Really great food prepared to you spicyness specification. This is one of the few places we’ve felt safe getting take-aways during lockdown - you can watch the food being prepared and they are careful about hygiene. Great flavours, great value and very friendly service. I started going here after reading the brilliant south London blog “deserter.co.uk” which gave this place top billing!

Fantastic authentic food with reasonable prices and generous portions. The dhaal, chicken curry and fresh naan are my favourites... But the real showstopper is Nihari on Fridays. I have been here regularly for months now and never been disappointed, so I recently had them cater a small party and all the guests loved the food too. Highly recommended!

A very popular lunch spot located on the bustling East street, prices are very reasonable and the pre cooked dishes are reheated in pans. Channa Masala was very flavoursome and tasty, mine was cooked from fresh which took a little longer but it was certainly worth the wait. I came away with change for a fiver and that included a naan bread. Great little neighborhood spot

I didn't find the staff to be nearly as friendly or inviting as stated in previous reviews. The food was also a little stodgy. I'll try another dish next time, but it really wasn't all that amazing imo.

Been several times, and can absolutely love it for food on the go. Its quick, cheap and very tasty! Lovely staff, and always kept clean would definitely recommend if you ever miss your mums cooking!

Hemos estado en Kebabs Hut varias veces a lo largo de su ciclo de 10 años, y nunca me ha decepcionado. Este es, de lejos, la mejor tienda de comida hindú en una enorme radio. La comida es saludable y fresca. Es cocina PUNJABI desde el este del norte de la India. Me regularmente ir a este largo establecido llevar (unos taburetes dentro si lo desea) por sus sabrosos curry. Increíble valor, especialmente teniendo en cuenta la comida es realmente bonita, curry y arroz, creo que £4.25 . Ver las horas, están abiertos temprano en la mañana para mercado desayunos pero cierran a las 9 pm en punto y un poco más temprano el domingo.

After visiting Kebab Hut, I found that all the flavours that you wouldn't expect from a small Asian takeaway were there. The owners are very nice and polite,and service was good for food freshly made in front of you. There is added benefit of being able to state how spicy you would like the curries, and portions are very decent.Overall food was tasty and good experience!
