Prices are not mentioned anywhere and they can charge what they want like a third world country. However the waiters are very polite and the food is average.

We reached out for relationship counseling, as the website mentioned services for ‘relationship issues,’ ‘conflict resolution,’ and ‘marital troubles.’ However, we were told that relationship counseling wasn’t offered, which was confusing given the website’s details. She didn’t suggest any related services, just declined us altogether. When we texted to clarify that the website might be misleading, the response was simply ‘okay. It would have been helpful if she had offered a service she does provide that pertains to relationships. If you’re looking specifically for relationship counseling, this may not be the right place.

One of the worst customer services here. I went with my family here, we ate food, but after having milkshake my 7 year old daughter started feeling unwell and ran to the washroom. She threw everything out and was not feeling well. I covered her vomit with tissues so that people don’t slip and informed the staff. To my surprise the staff came to my table and asked me clean that and said it is not his duty to do that. I was busy watching my kid over as she wasn’t well and now there he is standing and asking me clean the thing. I can understand if it was done purposely or something but this was by a kid because of the food what she ate. Eventually I had to pay them £9.40 as a service charge to clean that bit. Utter rubbish behavior by the restaurant staff and truly unprofessional.

Had the worst dosa of my life. The samber was ordinary lintels. God knows what the coconut chutney was. Whatever it was it was ice cold. The dosas were served in broken peices. Avoid at all costs. Wish I had taken pictures to show. I had food poisoning after eating. This place should be shut down by the council or food hygiene organisation.

I don’t want to be dramatic, but Spice may have just altered the course of my life. What started as a simple dinner turned into an unforgettable flavour adventure that made my taste buds stand up and applaud. We kicked things off with 3 poppadoms, which were so perfectly crisp they could probably double as percussion instruments in a well-seasoned drumline. The accompanying chutneys were on point—particularly the mango chutney, which I would legally marry if the UK government would allow it. Then came the onion bhaji, a golden, crunchy masterpiece that made me question every other bhaji I’ve had in my life. It was like eating a delicious fried cloud of oniony joy. Chicken tikka? More like chicken "tick-all-the-boxes". Tender, smoky, and so perfectly spiced it tasted like the chef had spent years mastering the ancient art of flavour balance in a Himalayan spice temple. But the real star? The lamb karahi. It didn’t just slap—it arrived bubbling with attitude, bursting with rich, deep flavour, and packed a slow-cooked punch that demanded respect. Each bite was a melt-in-your-mouth moment. We paired it with mushroom rice, pilau rice and a peshwari naan that was basically dessert disguised as bread. It was stuffed like it owed us rent and paid it back in coconut goodness. And of course, the saag aloo—potatoes and spinach in perfect harmony. It was like Popeye and a spud teamed up to fight bland food crime. The service was impeccable, the food arrived hot (in both spice and appearance), and by the time I finished, I was beyond full, with a satisfied belly and a heart full of gratitude. 5 stars out of 5! Will return—even if I have to crawl.

Went to have a snack in the evening with tea and also ordered takeaway snack.. A young lady took my order at the counter and I paid the cost with my card. After a brief wait I was told by her that the order is being prepared and I will be served at the table. After about ten minutes she brought the snack and when I asked about my tea, she said she had already served me my tea at the counter which was completely untrue. Then she yells from the counter in front of the customer she had given me the tea for which I denied. Reluctantly she then served my tea and while giving me my takeaway order she sarcastically comments that I make sure I have been given my takeaway order. Terrible attitude to treat customer this way.

We chose Sagar because it was near theatre and veggie. The service was very poor and we had to ask twice for water and three times for the bill even after saying we needed to leave to go to the theatre. The onion bajis were far more batter than onion and tasted bland. Our main meal items were good but we were given cold plates. Sagar seems to be resting on its reputation and needs to improve service and food to keep us coming back.

This was our second visit (the first visit was a nice pleasant family dinner with great service by our waitress and even the manager) and felt completely let down. Everything we ordered had to be checked, starters came out Luke warm, one drinks order came in three parts (only 5 drinks ordered) over 25 mins, and customer service really wasn’t great with every server on their mobile phones literally the whole time. The bill wasn’t cheap either so unfortunately a terrible rating for fusion vibes, has gone downhill since our last visit last year. Will not go again
