Just today (26 Jan 25) evening take away snacks, I am a repeat customer, All the way down from manager to the counter serving staff have absolutely no interpersonal skills never mind customer focus, Male staff actually snatched by food bag off the counter when requested additional chutney mumbling some expletive and on my way out another female counter staff made rude face, I am raging with anger!! Food is average, and also expensive. Only reason I have been going is convenience (it is en-route to home from train station) after a long working week, Will now not be giving my trade to this establishment.

Ordered the ragda pattice again but I feel the standards have dropped a little. The green peas don’t taste as nice as the white peas 😔 Please bring mushy white peas back for your ragda pattice.

Tried this place for the first time and I have to say it’s a nice alternative to your usual Maccy D’s/Greggs. I enjoyed the ragda pattice and although it wasn’t out of this world I would definitely revisit!

Took Kachori, Pooran paari & Murku. Extremely low quality and unfresh. Currently its in the Bin. I am completely clueleas how people sitting over there were eating without complaints. Masala Tea was the only good thing.

I am going there in 15 min. Every Saturday morning, I treat myself to eating out for breakfast. There are a couple of restaurants and cafes close by and then there's Aumkar which requires me to board a train to get to. No problem. I am assured that for £6-7, I will not only have had a proper Indian breakfast with plenty to choose from, around 10-11am they will also be free to servce as crowd builds up around lunchtime/noontime only. When I visit them, I also do a takeaway of their "Thali" option (A full meal as a takeaway). This place is great. After a lot of research and trials, I have finalised them as my go-to Indian restaurant for snacking, breakfast and meals when by myself. They don't have the ambience for an office party or formal occasions but for especially singles or just as part of family day out, this place is unbeatable. They're really good.

Have visited a few times, always very slow service and the two male staff are not friendly or helpful at all. Have decided that although local to me, would not come here again. The food is not that great either! There are so many better Indian veg options in Harrow!

Mouth watering Indian quick street style food . Ambience is not something you will get here but the food makes up for it . Do not go at lunch time on weekdays. Far too busy. But worth a visit as it's reasonably priced.

A Friend recommended this place for Thalis, but we opted to have the other snacks. Its a simple family run place serving only vegetarian snacks. We had the pav bhaji n Samosa. Pav bhaji was avg but samosa were good. Will try the other steamed dishes like Dhokla next time

prices are unbeatable. A meal of 4 dishes costed us 11gbp. Tastes are not the best but good enough for an occassional treat A friend swears by the thali options, will probably try that the next time.

Been here a few times, simple place and a friendly team. The prices are outstanding for what you get. Thali's ( £3.50 for a variety of things) are great as are the samosas. The Bombay-style sandwich is also worth trying. Interestingly, demographics wise, there are all nationalities that visited for lunch on the day I was there and all appeared regular happy customers.

Last week we went to Harrow Town Center and came across AUMKAR PURE VEGETARIAN eatery. The place was like a cafe.serving Indian street food as well as meals. One of the most attractive aspect was reasonable quantity at reasonable price. We had thali comprising of 2 rotis, 2 vegetable curries, daal soup and rice. The food tasted good and by the end of the meal we were well satisfied.. We also decided to do a take away of samosas and bhel . We consumed this in the evening as a light supper and it was delicious. At the time of our visit it was not so busy and we received good service. The restaurant was clean. We would recommend this restaurant for cheap and good eat.

If miss street food of India this is the place. Reminds you of back home. Food is delicious but the environment is scruffy. If you love food, just get a takeaway and don’t expect hygiene and good service.

We wanted a farsan breakfast and this place was recommended by a friend. We went there on a Sunday and the place was empty initially but then it picked up and was full in an hour. We ate ALOT. Brunch was converted to a Lunch haha. Samosa, Raj Kachori, Jalebi, Paapdi, Dabeli, Pavbhaji, Vadapav, Khaman Dhokla and White Dhokla were the "few" dishes we ate amongst 3 of us. Delicious food overall. Pavbhaji and Masala Chai were alright, you can skip them. Everything else was great and really reasonable.

The worst place you can go in Harrow to eat. The people/owner serving is very rude. No one goes to eat with our paying so being paying customer the owner has to to be nice.

Small space, long queues, limited seating, confused staff getting orders mixed up. Often noticed white customers being served more generous portions and discounts that Asians don't get. Sometimes owner/staff give preferential treatment to their friends and allow them to jump queue. Didn't like being discriminated like this, like as if my money was not good enough to get same good service as others. Food okay if one doesn't mind the wait sometimes.

The food's quite cheap (definitely one of the cheapest options around Harrow Town centre) and very decent, if you like Indian vegetarian. The seating area itself is basic and not very attractive, but it's not really a place to hang about once you finish eating.

Este lugar es constantemente abarrotada su plena siempre y siempre hay una cola. Pero merece la pena la espera y el dinero. Buenas porciones y a un precio razonable. Una variedad de aperitivos de samosas de thepla gujrati y la lista continúa. ! Sin duda, si no hubiera sido! También hacen grandes pedidos.

We've been to Aumkar a few times when we've been going to the cinema in Harrow and wanted to grab a quick lunch beforehand. The choice of curries changes regularly and the turnover is high so the food is definitely fresh. The seating area could be improved as the seats are all ripped and falling apart. The food is served hot but unfortunately becomes cold very quickly as it's served in traditional metal containers which haven't been heated and so they draw the heat out of the food practically instantly. This is a shame and is something that's so easy to change and would make a big difference to the customer as eating a meal that's hot from beginning to end is much more enjoyable! The curries are very reasonably priced - it costs us under £8 to both have either a curry and rice or thali plus samosas or onion bhajis too.

This place has basic indian dishes and a selection of sweets and savoury treats. The prices are really cheap, and their lunch selection of curry with rice or paneer with rice is really good.Everything is a bit spicy, but I asked my paneer with less spicyness and it was just perfect. Huge portions too, especially looking at the price. A good choice for lunch

I can't describe how much I love this small chaat corner in the Harrow Town center. My husband and I wandering around the town, hungry and looking for a nice pub to eat and we came across this place. They have a huge variety of chaats and few sweets. Apart from chaats they also had currys and parathas. We ordered about 4-5 chaat and savored them for breakfast and after the shopping, we also took a take away for lunch and this place did not disappoint us with the currys and chapatis. I think I'm gonna eat at this place more than twice in a week or more if by Southern Rail's grace, I reach home on time.

This small cafe type restaurant and takeaway is conveniently located in central Harrow (Station Road). As you enter, the appearance is not at all inviting, as the seats are rugged, torn, dirty and sticky. The few tables, although well laid out are sticky, unclean and greasy. However, as you go forward to the food counter, you almost forget the look of the place and your mind is set on the variety of very attractive, tasty food bar. You'll find various snacks to eat in or take out. They also serve lunch thali. Also available are spicy noodles, chilly paneer and a number of other tasty items. If you want a quick break, try a plate of vegetable samosas and a really tasty cup of masala tea. They prepare the best "khichi" I've ever tasted but make sure it is freshly prepared and not pre-prepared & stored in the fridge. No matter what you select from the food counter, you'll enjoy it and surely return for more. The staff could be a little more courteous and pay attention to the customer rather than keep chatting between themselves whilst serving. This is sometimes quite annoying. I would like to visit the restaurant more often but it's the uninviting, drab seating that puts me off. If only they would focus on the seating area and make it look more presentable, I'm sure they'd do very well.

It's a very simple cafe but someone cleans the tables regularly. It's extremely reasonable and being so popular and full, there is a quick turnaround so the food is fresh. I was in there today for bhel puri and masala chai which was very comforting on this unseasonably cold June day.

I would have given this place a 5* if it wasn't for the fact they use there hands without gloves to pick up things like thepla, paratha and puffs to name a few after which they use the same hand to collect money. The food itself is nice and staff are very nice.

If you want to eat typical indian homemade fast food, lunch and sweets than this is probably best place to get in. its actually serves more of gujarati fast food. but i have many european friends whom i have recommended and they all use it everyday as you could get a lunch for under fiver.

Not bad but could be better. This casual cafe type Indian sweets and savouries (pure vegetarian) is Ideal for a cup of very soothing Indian masala tea and samosas. Some snacks are kind of ok but others such as khaata dokhla are under steamed and taste half cooked almost always. Make sure you enquire which items are freshly prepared as some come out of the fridge and through a microwave! Lunch "thali" is very cheap and filling but most items served on this platter lack taste. Service is ok. Some four tables are provided in case you want a sit down quick snack. Gets very busy at lunch times. Indian sweets are very sweet and not healthy in my opinion. They also sell ready made packaged snacks. Overall, it's ok for an occasional visit. Location is ideal in the centre of Harrow.

Ordered a takeaway from this place. The food was drenched in oil which made it inedible. Don’t order food from here unless you want a hear attack!

We went today, into an empty restaurant at 8.30pm on Sunday. We thought at first why its empty, but soon realised why. We ordered 3 starters from the Menu. 15 mins into our time at the table, a separate guy (who had not taken our order and we had not seen before, came and said the Menu prices have changed and this is the new Menu. I told him this is not on, since we ordered from the Menu that was presented to us. This guy didn't budge, in the end we had to leave the restaurant. Never again. To the owner, if you had half the audacity to attract customers, you would have done everything to keep the only 3 clients you had, shame on you because restaurants like you after money only and nothing else. Pathetic, could leave 0 review if I could

Best butter chicken, so creamy buttery and delightful. Better than any other restaurant's butter chicken I've had in my life. The almond flakes on top make it all the better Butter Naan makes it the perfect meal, so fresh Thanks, love this place
