restaurant food was very nice and testy , specially i like manchurian dry, kaju kari , paneer butter masala.

The food was authentic and delicious, especially the thali which offered a variety of flavors in one dish. The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, making it a great spot for a casual meal. While I'd give it a solid 4 stars, it's definitely worth a visit for anyone craving authentic Indian cuisine

Just it’s take way . Order no - 365273396 .We ordered vegetable noodles and vegetable fried rice from this restaurant. However, when my son and wife tried both dishes, they found the taste to be extremely poor. It was clear that the chef either lacks the skill or the sense to prepare a decent dish. The food was so bad that we ended up throwing it out. I want to take this opportunity to warn everyone: do not order food from this restaurant.

The dining experience was ruined by the lack of staff attending to customers; instead, they were all having their lunch right in front of us. It was incredibly unprofessional and disappointing. It was a complete disregard for customer care, and a total lack of professionalism.

This was our second trip to the resturant. The first experience was good so wanted to try it again. But we regret it. The waitress took the wrong order and then took another ten minutes to correct it. Then we asked for a cheese toostie. Two servers came and confirmed the order but never delivered it. When we asked it after several minutes they said they forgot and do we still need it. What a shameful response. Really pathetic service. Secondly after coming home eating plain puris both our daughters got stomach ache and diarrhea.

Second visit to this restaurant, great food - which was very tasty. The service from Ekta, Pooja and Bhuvan was excellent, they were very attentive.

Today we ordered pani puri vada pav dry manchurian which did not look dry and grilled sandwich. We asked for not too spicy and mild and too our surprise we got all food very very sweet that we could not eat and we had to reorder another food which was ok as less salt in dal and too much garlic taste . When we asked them that why is it sweet the justification was you asked it to be mild . So mild doesn’t mean you add triple sweet in it .

The staff the lady who taking order she was rude and inattentive, making the whole experience unpleasant. We waited over 30 minutes just to place our order, and when our food finally arrived. The lack of professionalism and courtesy was shocking for a place with such good reviews. I won't be returning and wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for decent service. Bad experience with the one lady who take order in front staff

I ordered mini idly, i was told it was cooked by south indian chef. The idly is amaetuer made, home made idly is far better. Ordered chat platter: it was filled with tonnes of sev. I couldnt see what i ordered, i struggled to locate the platter items. When you make a main item, u dont over pour the side sev. Also, its cold as if it was served from fridge direct. Now, vada pav. The batter was cold. Kuch bhi??? Waste of my time and money. You need a better chef. Your reviews are falling down and owner is playing a blind eye.

If you can eat Sambhar without Salt, Masala Dosa with Saunf (Fennel seeds) and sweet flavor potatoes and Dosa Cocunut Chatni without taste then this is the right place for you. Service, Atmosphere and Ambience is good but Food... 1/5.

Recommendation for vegetarians Highly recommend Wonderfulllll experience !! Food was truly delicious with a 100% indian test. A day ago me and my friends went at this restaurant . And we make plans to have dinner here and it's really our best Indian dinner till the date in harrow .Everything we ordered is tasty and comes with good presentation. Service is very friendly and amazing by Urvashi.

I went to this place yesterday with high expectations but I couldn’t meet that. The food actually was not good at all. There wasn’t any taste. Due to less staff in the restaurant they were struggling and they took 35 minutes to serve the food after my order. Staff was telling us to make pre order whatever you want now because we will not serve you after 10. I understand that they have cleaning and other stuff to do but at the same time they should not allow us if we were late and it was closing time. Really disappointed 😌

We ordered Chinese bhel which was too oily and blunt in taste. They were kind enough to replace it with Veg Manchurian which again was too salty. Butter Roti was half baked. Over all a bad experience.

Went for lunch with a few friends..Decent food and ample quantity. The restaurant staffs are quite friendly and it has a lovely ambience. There are fascinating posters on the wall from different Bollywood movies.😊

I strongly would not recommend harrow mumbai local with takeaway. I purchase veg bahar missing shredded paneer and naan crispy felt like out of a packet. Then manager said I can have a dish for free decided to order misalpav this was cold and tasted sane a veg bahar except with few peas and beans. This was a tasteless dish. Better of going vaghaar or mumbaikar kenton road. Fresh tasty food.

We have been coming to Mumbai local Harrow for at least 5 years. We have tried many dishes and always enjoy the food. Our favourite is the thali, always a delicious selection of tasty dishes. The service is very good. Recently we have been served by Pooja she is always with a smile and accommodating. Would highly recommend visiting.

Overall we enjoyed our first visit to Mumbai local street food, however being charged £8.50 for a portion of aubergine fries is extortionate. Hate the feel of being ripped off ☹

ANTS IN FOOD My friends and I went there for food in the afternoon. We ordered papadam and bunch of other items. The papadam had ants crawling all over it. After reporting the fact, no one apologised to us. We left uncomfortable eating the food and left there. The manager wasn’t aware of the fact that there was ant in food.

Munchkin noodles was good, so was pav bhaji, uttapam was average. However, overall pricey for such range/style of Indian restaurant in London..hence 3 stars..

I have order take away and there was no mint sauce. When ask for they said there is a charge for it. They charged £1.50 for a mint sauce. Never seen any restaurant charge for a sauce. No wonder why they get so many one star reviews and they don’t even bother to improve their customer service.

Very good atmosphere. Had chili garlic mogo, baby corn paneer, baigan masala, chilli garlic naan, jeera rice, and a jug of nimbu pani.

Went as a family of 11, has a lovely lunch, ordered a variety of many different dishes. shared and enjoyed all.

Chola bature was not great, the mogo chilli garlic , I could not even finish the left overs at home. The biggest thing is Service Charge of 12.5% added to bill where it should be discretionary. The billing happens at counter then why am I paying service charge for? There was no one around to take orders when we were ready and we were the first and only ones in the restaurant.

We ordered Unlimited Veg Thali for us & Manchurian noodles with lassi for daughter. Taste was great & quantity really unlimited. Also the thali is with masala tea as complementary. They charge 12.5% service fee just for info of others

Amazing food and great service but it would be nice if their staff didn't stare at people constantly whilst we eating. They all stand staring at your table - maybe coz there were only people sat at two tables that day and it was pretty empty but it feels a lil awkward.

Mumbai Local Harrow branch has gone completely downhill. They changed my favourite dish completely. Stir fried tofu was previously fried in a coating/batter, they served me the dish uncoated and then tried to fool me into thinking I had ordered the wrong dish. They then offered to coat it in batter, but it was disgusting, full of baby corn and the tofu was not crispy like before. The chef didn't fry the tofu properly and the taste was very, very different to previously. I had to push all the baby corn to the edge of my plate. The attitude of the staff was awful. When I questioned the male member of staff, he finally admitted they had a new chef, but did not offer me any discount for such an altered dish. I felt cheated, refused to pay the service charge and now I have a stomach ache from eating that salty, awful tasting and not properly fried Tofu. I also hate baby corn, which they never used previously in this dish. I won't be coming back. They were very busy, but clearly don't care about regular customers otherwise they would have offered me a goodwill gesture. Never again!

Don't go for Mumbai test, only vadpav test like Mumbai otherwise don't try Misal pav, pavbhaji, Manchurian dry or gravy because of there chef don't know what true test of mumai Misal , there Misal without sprout, and gravy so I would not recommend who is going for Mumbai test

Ideal place for India street food selections. Service could improve. Food is very tasty. We enjoy going to different branches of Mumbai Local.

Dosa with no flavour or even salt

Got a takeout, and the food was impressive 👏 , great service, and welcome.

Service is poor, food is hit and miss. When complaining about a dish (Chilli Paneer)we are told the it will not be taken off the bill even thou we had not eaten it due to it been too hard, ! Won’t be going there again..!

Booked for 3 pax for a dinner on the 12.1.2024 to chill out after working hours. I ordered plain idli, plain uttapam and requested chutney with no onion and garlic. My cousin sister ordered schezwan fried rice, but it comes with onion so she agreed to go ahead. It was served well. I have requested 2x lemon with hot water and an extra 2x tomato chutney, but the water served late and 1x tomato chutney was served for 2 pax. Well, again we 3 of us ordered 1x sizzling mushroom without onion and garlic but it was served with onions. The server denied that we did not mention to her without onion and garlic - 3 verses 1. So we told the server to take back the food, and it was charged when we didn't consume the sizzling mushroom. The cashier keeps repeating that we need to mention whenever order the food. We 3 of kept saying that we did mentioned to the server. Which part does the server don't understand to it? Customers are legally entitled to refuse to pay their bill if they believe that the food served to them was not of an adequate standard. Diners are legally entitled to have food provided with reasonable care and skill.

We are regular customer of Mumbai local Harrow and we admire the food so much. Today we went there for family dinner and the food was so salty. The starter had double salt and currys too. Didn't expected this kind of food from Mumbai local. We were offered single portion of the curry as replacement but we were so put off by the food, so we declined. The staff should check the food before serving. Ruined the whole experience.

Food not good at all and not worth visiting. Ordered Bhel Puri, Pani Puri, Undhyu is not good. Asked for fresh green chilli and they did not have it. Taste and quality is not there. Service is poor. Best to go to Regency Club.

You need to update your opening hours. We got there and very kindly one member of staff offered to accept our order which is greatly appreciated. However the crispy bhajia were raw and the same with the Methi bhajia. We didn’t say too much that evening and paid the bill and left swiftly as they were in a hurry to close.

Food is decent , staff stare a lot so it puts you off a bit. We ordered bhel and paneer dish , which were good and I'd order them again if I return here.

Member of staff named Dharti in harrow branch was the first person to ask me if I would like to have more chutney or sambhar with my dhosa as they are unlimited which I was not aware of. Have made several visits to different branches. Also since the chef of shezwan broccoli has gone in Wembley branch the taste is not the same.

We went for birthday party. Food is good but staff was very rude. They even don’t know how to greet the customers. Even they are not happy because it’s Christmas and they want to go home. . They charge service charge for service but they don’t provide. .. manger or someone from authority had to provide the training and manners. .. I spent more than 200 pound but it’s not worth it ..

Not great. Poor service. Waiters did not show any sense of responsibility. Broke a glass in my food. Still charges is for the dishes that were taken away with bits of glass. Restaurant was cold. Food was not great.

Never ever order from harrow Mumbai local, we had a family pani puri take out... we had always had extra imli and extra pani for the same price but this time we got charge extra £10 for an extra imli and pani what a rip off.... Also the pani wasn't fresh at all as it was smelling but we thought it was us but the following day 3 out of 6 of us suffered from bad stomach aches and vomiting... Complained to them regarding the extra charges and no acknowledgement at all NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN OR HAVING A TAKE OUT

I had heard a lot about Mumbai Local and the Harrow one. I visitted once for lunch. The food I ordered was not great. Even the chai/tea was just a hot water and masala tea sachet mixed in it. You can get very tasty (properly made) tea/Indian chai very close to this restaurant. I should not mention the name of the other cafe, but it's another famous Mumbai cafe only 2-3 minutes walk from this place. I thought if I eat the food with my closed eye, I can't say what I'm eating. It was tasteless. I really want them to succeed, but they must find a good chef. I'm sorry for writing this negetive feedback, but my intention is fair so that I can come back again in future.

We ordered chole bhature and they gave us kala chana, and the taste was worst. The other dish is paneer tikka masala and it was burnt that I couldn't chew that. Will never recommend this place to Anyone.

Rakesh and his staffs were amazing for organising a birthday meal for 22 people and did an excellent job throughout the eveing. We had a set menu for the night. The food was amazing and could not ask for anything better. Thank you once again.

Very very bad experience with food. Ordered sizzler combo and masala dosa at Harrow branch- such a tasteless and soggy food, we could not even finish 20 % of ordered food. Staff did not show any care upon complaining. Ultimately we asked for take away to avoid food wastage we were handed a container on the table to packed ourselves. Pathetic experience. Do not waste your money by just name of the brand.

The worst service ever Ordered a paneer kadhai which was super dry and it was mentioned as gravy in the menu When we asked staff to replace or remake - they were rude and refused. Horrific customer service

Pathetic food, none of the items we order was next to okay. Manchurian fried rice was sweet, veg makhan wala was tasteless. I generally, don’t say, “Please eat at your own risk”. Thank you.

I tried to call them first they just pick the call and haven't responded then we call them again I call them to give order for 3 bajra rotlas she said that our kitchen will be closed by 9:50 and I was call her at 9:20 for collection. Also within a 2 min they just turn of the all tablets and every thing.Very rude staff they don’t have any sense how to talk with customer. I’ll never give any order and suggest this place.

Starters were excellent 👌 some of the best I've had. I was with family and they all agreed. The mains were also nice apart from my vegetarian biryani which was way too heavily spiced. I counted five cardamon pods in my single portion amongst a lot of other spices which is way too much for a single portion. We all still had a thoroughly good time and would return and recommend this restaurant.

Everything is 1 Star cus we didn't even get to try the food. Waited there 30 mins after being told the waiter will come in 2 mins to serve us. It wasn't even that busy tbf. There was like 3 other families eating. We got up to leave and they started calling us like "ay ay ay" and clicking at us like we were dogs. At least the water they gave us was 👍 not as good as watford water tho We left to go Mumbai Junction. Drove here, went toilet, sat down and even got our starters sooner than when we placed the order!

Went recently to see how things have changed since Taste of China days. - Food was not great, found it to be quite spicey especially for the children. The sweet corn soup unlike Taste of China SC soup more like spicy daal. - Staff appear lost and confused or perhaps inexperienced. Was never asked if everything was ok and if we'd like anything else Taste was ok, nothing spectactular. Might try again in a year's time to see if anything has changed and if they improve the service. Prices also too high.

I went there after work. It was chill. Food has become overly priced for what it is. I ordered uttapam and sev puri. And that came up to a total of £18.50. Not worth the cost of what I got. I would go back but very rarely.

Ford was cold. Mogo was hard. Crispy bhajia was also cold and hard. Noddles also cold. My mum has been sick all day today and I’ve had stomach cramps all day. Plus noodles had gone off

Must try if you are vegetarian and looking for priper street food

Went out with family and friends, the atmosphere and overall look is good, service was spot on, the starters/appetisers were nice and the lime soda was amazing…unfortunately that’s it! The mains unfortunately are a HUGE let down! If you’re happy with just a quick bite then this is the place to come, but if you’re wanting a full on proper meal with mains and the works (like we did - spend over £200), then I advise to look elsewhere.

Delicious meal, great service and soft ambience. We visit this branch regularly and enjoy other locations of this chain. Fab lunch between work and other chores.

The sabzi was excessively sweet, and the portion size didn't quite justify the price. The only saving grace was the pleasing ambience of the restaurant.
