Très belle adresse. Les plats étaient succulents, les boissons aussi. Le patron nous a offert des baklavas. La salle était très calme. On y retournera.

Mi novio y yo tuvimos una comida deliciosa aquí en mi cumpleaños en julio, ¡me dieron una bebida gratis ya que era mi cumpleaños! Estaba bastante ocupado teniendo en cuenta que era lunes, pero había un ambiente agradable, pedimos mucha comida pero no tardó demasiado en llegar. No pudimos comerlo todo, pero nos dejaron ponerlo en cajas de comida para llevar. ¡También me cantaron feliz cumpleaños y sacaron un batido de frutas con una vela en el que estaba realmente dulce! Sin duda volvería a visitar si estuviera cerca de Brick Lane, un servicio tan encantador. Gracias : )

Si está buscando lo último en murales mitológicos eróticos, así como retratos de 5 pies de la cara de la princesa Diana, entonces ha venido al lugar correcto: Jasmine no decepciona. Ahora, hablemos del menú ... encontrará una buena variedad de los sospechosos habituales (bhunas, rogan josh, etc.), sin embargo, ciertos platos no eran jugadores del equipo: el pandeo estaba un poco helado y la relación carne a hueso en el chuleta de cordero al curry era pobre. Felicitaciones por cierto al menú - diseñador; Muy apreciado la página con la tabla de opciones de alimentos de estilo MS Excel. Sin embargo, lo que se ha ganado con la variedad del menú, se ha perdido en VFM (valor 4 dinero): la factura (solo garabatos) se registró en la friolera de 30 cada uno sin alcohol incluido (es BYOB, use el offy por el camino para un descuento), aunque en parte culpo a nuestro organizador por no encerrar uno de esos asesinos de '25% de descuento y poppadums ilimitados' con el chico de afuera. Sin embargo, todo se rescató con una buena selección de chocolates cálidos "post-pago" (nada en un cuadro de selección de Lindt, pero fue bueno tener algo dulce para calmar un poco las cosas, especialmente el de menta). En general, una montaña rusa de comida pero buena para esa experiencia genuina de carril de ladrillos, te recomendaría si te gusta el arte y puedes negociar.

Visited last night and was completely unimpressed. I order the sizzling mixed grill and paid for extra King prawn. What I received was simply scandalous as the whole dish looked like a mound of re-heated red gravy, nothing actually sizzled. I proceeded to attempt to eat the meats which were cold, dry, over-cooked with the lamb being tougher than leather. This was clearly a dish that had been re-engineered from a previous life as it certainly hadn't been carefully prepared and cooked, whilst I waited. This happens to be my favorite dish so I have a very good bench mark of what is expected. I wont be going to this place as the surrounding choices look very good. My visit was ended with a very arrogant approach by Jay on the door, who simply couldn't give a damn what I had just experienced. He needs to go on either a customer care course or move him on to something where he can relate to others !!! His arrogance was far more impressive than the food I had just been served

Wanted to eat at Aladdin Brick Lane, as we entered the restaurant a waiter who was standing just inside the entrance asked if we had booked, I replied no we hadn’t, so he said there were no tables free in this part of the restaurant, but will take us next door. We followed him next door as as we went through the entrance he pointed a small notice in the window. The notice read “we are part of Aladdin”. We thought no more of it and continued to look at menu. Ordered our food of sheek kebabs and veg samosas The kebabs had been deep fried and certainly not cooked in a clay oven. The rest of the meal was ok...typical Bangladeshi taste, so very Indian. Finished our meal and got our bill...that’s when we noticed we had in fact been taken to Jasmine and not Aladdin as we thought we had, so very annoyed by their actions to tout customers from other restaurants So word of warning....just make sure of the touting waiter, and there seems to be quiet a few around are taking you to the restaurant YOU want The food at Jasmine is nothing special....it’s your typical Bangladeshi restaurant....sweet and bland.

Got free popadoms and great service. y. Got moved table a few times due to a large group but the service made up for it. Food was tasty!

After a bit of haggling outside, which I can't stand but fortunately had someone do for me, we agreed a price and went in. Staff were pleasant, food was good but nothing special and beer was very limited in choice. Saying that I ended up paying less than £20 plus tip for poppadoms, dips, starter, mains and two pints! Carpets were disgusting and the decor is a bit odd but for a cheap curry and beer it's ok.

We had booked a table at Aladin when we arrived they told us our table was next door in Jasmin but it’s one kitchen, seems like they have 4 restaurants and are building a little restaurant empire in Brick Lane. Firstly this place doesn’t have a bar, when you order booze they go down the street to the off licence to buy it, so when we ordered a second round of drinks he said how many do you want as we have to keep going out.... if they’d been clear it was a BYOB place we’d have brought our own, all of the regulars turned up with their own beers and bottles of wine, on the plus side they don’t charge corkage. Food was amazing, Chicken Korma, Chicken Biryani, Prawn Curry, Chicken Tikki Masala were amongst the dishes we ordered, there were 6 of us and we all enjoyed our food. Staff were very rushed to get you in, get you fed, and get you out of the door. As soon as we’d finished eating they said they needed the table back as it was busy, even though we all had drinks to finish up. If you can get past the hurried nature of the place and the not so polite staff, bring your own booze, and enjoy the food here.

We were lured into the Jasmine on the promise of a free round of drinks and 25% discount of the price of the meal. Not sure whether this was because it was quite early and they wanted to attract diners in to make the place look busy but it certainly worked because within 30 minutes the place was heaving with noise levels most probably illegal in industrial situations! Menu was typical Indian but uninspiring. I have to say that my king prawn biryani was very poor, God knows what sort of prawns they were but they were almost inedible. My wife had the chicken tikka sizzler and that was much better and very tasty. Service was good, décor average but scruffy - stairs down to the toilets are disgraceful and makes you query their commitment to cleanliness. As a footnote we did get our free round of drinks - which included 3 TINS of gin and tonic but we didn't get the 25%. On querying this on the way out with the guy who had enticed us in he was 'mortified' and to be fair he would have refunded but we were in a good mood and declined so we have a promise that we will get it next time!

Came here for a family meal. Duped into entering on the proviso that it had a licenced bar which it doesn't. Rude staff, treated us all like utter crap. Ruined our family experience. And then the staff swore at me as I left the restaurant!

There are heaps of better places on Brick Lane. It's noisy and the decor is weird. It's hard to get serviced and afterwards staff are impatient and rude and rush you out before you've even finished your food. Toilets are disgusting and we didn't get the discount we were promised. Walk straight past here to one of the other hundreds of restaurants in the area.

One of 4 restaurants all served underground by same kitchen. Food was ok without being exceptional. Large portions and reasonable value. Not like Mother India in Glasgow but ok.

We met here for a birthday meal and had a decent enough time, but it could have been better. My meal was of a reasonable quality and the poppadoms were very nice. My paratha bread was okay but could have had more vegetables. Bit disappointed by the small range of drinks on offer. The decor is fun - the murals of Princess Diana, and various semi naked women make this a tricky date night venue I suspect! The hot towel waiter was brusque but the other waiters were helpful. We were confused by our bill as they'd first not applied the discount promised and then possibly overcharged us. We were then asked if we could head off which I guess is standard for this busy part of London. To be honest if I was looking for somewhere to eat on Brick Lane I'd recommend the street food near Trumans Yard, but this was decent enough if you're not too fussed.

The meal was a poor imitation of Indian food. Completely lacking in flavour apart from an overpowering sweetness. No spicyness at all. May appeal to someone who has never tried Indian food before, but not me, sorry. Apart from that, the staff were reasonably friendly.
