The Curry Club in Haringey

Beckenham/ Elmer end’ has a nice little curry club. Full of favourite. A nice restaurant doing a good job I would recommend some of their fish and seafood curry’s. Nan breads cooked fresh on site and staff at hand all your visit.

Best Puri bread in London. They do what it says on the tin good food, reasonably priced, down to earth service. If you want good food, no frills, this is the place.

My family and I had a bereavement in the family. We ordered food for 50 people The order included tandoori chicken, byriani, salad etc It was very tasty and went down well with the family. The order had arrived on time and was very warm. Thank you for your hospitality. We will definitely order again in the not so distant future. Keep up the great work. Mrs Motiya Rahman and family

Ordered 3 different curries, all full of water. Saag paneer was inedible, worse thing I’ve ever tasted, no where near a saag paneer taste. Rices were hard. Breads were flat and hard. Garlic naan wasn’t made with fresh garlic. Just had garlic granules sprinkled on-top so tasted nasty and burnt. Samosas were soggy.

local curry spot for years but after yesterday wont return, a small hair was in my pilau rice. Its unnaceptable please wear nets on beards and head. First thing i dished out onto my plate and ruined my whole takeaway before I even dished my plate completely

One of the best curry houses in town! We have been ordering from here for more than a year now and it never disappoints! Highly recommend the chicken jalfrezi or aloo gosht!

The worst Indian restaurant and service I have ever come across. After placing an order at 7 pm and waiting an hour and 40 minutes I thought I would call the restaurant. They were extremely rude and told me that it would be another 20 minutes. I asked them why they had put on the just eat that it had already been delivered and continued to be rude to me. My partner than spoke to them and they just kept on saying 20 minutes 20 minutes but we could hear someone in the background it sounded like they had not even started the order yet and the location was about 17 minutes from your house. I was not prepared to wait any longer. They are extremely rude and I will never be ordering from here again. Thank God I opted for cash as I intend to turn away the driver when he eventually arrives.

Sorry to say that standard of the food has declined greatly. I’ve been a regular for a few years. But the meal I had from here very recently I ended up throwing most of it away. The tarka daal was far too salty- ? Msg ? Aloo Gobi cauliflower was like water ! Matir paneer was too unbalanced flavours ! Lot of tomato I wonder if chefs have changed - anyway I won’t be ordering here again.

Do not order from here it's the worst food ever - so disappointed I had to throw away all the order - nasty 😫

Worst curry I've ever had.. So much water in it I had to throw it away. Will never order from here again 26/04 - I can assure you this is a chicken curry no matter what the reply states. I have the receipt to prove it was ordered. I also contacted the 'restaurant' via Facebook and I've still not had a response

AVOID. really so disappointing, all dishes were poorly made, lacked flavour, errors made in order. mostly in the bin unfortunately, id rather eat toast. cant be classed as curry. save your money and avoid. my advice would be to cut your menu and perfect those dishes; much better off.

First order through Deliveroo for a while, no idea where the ratings on their app come from but ‘4.5 Excellent’ for Curry Club was way off the mark. Half the dishes were nearly inedible, nothing tasted fresh and leftovers went in the bin. Really poor value, disappointed.

Ordered from here many times and usually brilliant. Tonight, the delivery man was extremely grumpy and both the lamb and chicken pakora were dry and chewy. Not good.

I placed an order, told it would be 50 minutes, the time was then extended to between 8.30 and 8.50. At 9.10 I started to call to see where my delivery was, unfortunately I couldn't get through as the phone was just ringing. After 14 attempts I got in my car and went to the shop to be told it was on its way. The attitude of the staff felt like they just wanted me out of there shop. They curry arrived at 9.30, when it arrived it was cold, 4 different currys and none of them was marked so it was trial and error. Will never use this place again

Unsure why such good reviews. Very disappointing and one of the blandest curries I’ve ever had, on each and every dish. Frozen not fresh veg and was somehow cold despite being minutes’ drive away.

I’ve been coming to this place for a few years now and I can’t believe I haven’t left a review any time we eat Indian it’s always from this place , mostly we get it delivered but I also I go and pick it up myself and every time I go I get greeted with a big smile from all the chefs as they Cook right in front of you The food is absolutely beautiful and the price is unbelievably good 5 stars all the way

I have been going to Curry Club for many years, their food and value is great. The Chicken Tikka Masala, Jalfrezi, Peshwari naan (the best), Chicken Biryani, Aloo Saag and more are delicious. There has been some negative comments on here, but truss me they had nothing better to do but write rubbish. Curry Club is the best in the area by far.

We ordered a takeaway to collect and the food was absolutely great. The change to the chicken muli where it was flavoured with Barbecue seasoning was very much appreciated and enjoyed. The food was still hot and fresh by time we got to Enfield. Just wished they delivered to our area as it would definitely be a weekly treat. The staff in the takeaway were also very friendly and polite. Will definitely trying to work out a way to have more takeaways from here. I did not feel the food was overpriced at all considering the quality of the food, freshness and how lovely it all was to enjoy.

Popped in to Curry Club on the off chance. Ordered a chicken and lamb biriyani. A prawn malayan and stuffed paratha nan bread. The food was very enjoyable. Raj and his staff were helpful and friendly.

I came from USA and always have heard about how food taste different and fresh in UK. I had ordered chicken biryani and chicken Tikka from Curry club. Let me tell you how friendly the stuff were. Food was ready in timely manner. Biryani definitely tasted different (good way) then what we get in USA. Chicken Tikka was so soft and juicy to eat. I will definitely order again during my stay in London.

I've been getting takeaways from the Curry Club since the mid-nineties. The curries, bread, rice and bhajis are very tasty and the quality is consistent - if it wasn't, I would have gone elsewhere by now. Recommended.

Food delicious and you can taste the freshness. Have used Curry Club whilst living in N7, N11 and now N17. Thank god for deliveries! Can especially recommend biriyani, any tandoori dishes and all breads. Enjoy

Ordered my food. It wasn't delivered. When I called to complain I was told they didn't need my business and it was the delivery drivers fault. Issue not resolved. Refused to give me the managers number. Worst and most disgusting service I have ever decide from a restaurant.

Didn't deliver at all when ordered on Deliveroo. Rude when called and complained. No acceptance of responsibly, blamed the driver. Shocking. Already reported to trading standards. :(

My favourite Indian takeaway. Always very friendly and quick delivery. The food is great quality and the chicken tikka is one of the best I've found in London. I've ordered from here many times now and haven't been disappointed!

I’ve used this takeaway curry house regularly but the food isn’t always uniformly good, I’ve become fed up of them now having received poorly cooked food from them one too many times so it’s safe to say that I will take my custom elsewhere from now on. .

Both me and my partner laughed when we read the reviews on TripAdvisor regarding Curry club - they cook up one of the best, cheapest and most consistent curries that we’ve ordered for ages and we are curry lovers!!!! One of the things we like about Curry Club’s curries are the fresh ingredients and many different flavours these guys seem to conjure from their constantly frying kitchen woks and pans - right in front of the till prepped in their open kitchen.... don’t get me wrong this is not the swankiest of restaurants but these curries are a tastebud sensation.

Manager screamed down the phone at me when I complained that the order had come late, was freezing cold and was missing many items. Would rate this 0 completely if I could. Absolutely disgusting and will never order from them again.

This is my first order from the Curry Club, and I must admit the food is exceptional and well prepared, the ingredients are fresh and very tasty, especially the curry dishes, I would highly recommend anyone new to give this place a try, you won’t be disappointed, Furthermore the price is very reasonable compared to other local restaurants near-by.

Just ordered from here on deliveroo and I received mouldy naan bread and nice small bone fragments in the curry!!! DO NOT EAT FROM HERE... Clearly they are not that bothered about their customers well being. Thank you deliveroo for the refund.

Please save your money and take out elsewhere. We had a terrible experience where half of our order arrived and was incorrect. When we called to ask them to resend what was missing, and the fact we’d paid for it, we were basically told “tough”. When I said that this isn’t right and it was unfair, the manager started shouting at me down the phone and became increasingly aggressive, telling me to take it up with Uber Eats, blaming their driver even though they were the ones who packed the bag incorrectly. Completely incompetent, aggressive and NO customer service to speak of. Naturally, we refuse to order from there ever again. Also the food that did arrive was bland and cold. Don’t bother.

The Curry Club is not new to us and before our last experience, it’s been great. However, today it really went downhill. My girlfriend and I ordered meals, she is pescatarian and her curry came with chicken instead of king prawn. As she would know prawns taste like. We’ve let the restaurant know about the mix-up, were told it would come shortly, asked to pack the wrong order back into the container as the driver would need to bring it back to the restaurant. So as the driver arrives, examines the meal visually and assures her it is king prawn meal, he was persistent and rude, asking her to get a piece of cutlery and try it again in front of him. Well, this is not right. Now, nobody should be forced to be trying anything in front of someone to prove the point, especially food that is against someones believes to eat. Now she was too polite, tried the food again but he would continue arguing that it is not what she tastes. I was appalled by this and went to the door to see what is going on, seeing my concerned face he suddenly became more cooperative. And this is sad that a petite woman has to be backed up by a man while getting take away food or anywhere else in fact. Calling back the restaurant about this didn’t do much either. Now, I am leaving this review here not for the sake of dropping a complaint, I don’t do that, neither my girlfriend does. This is to let the restaurant and customers know that nobody should be put into a situation like this. It is wrong, it is against of customer’s rights and quite frankly a distressful experience.

Peshwari naan - rock hard, burnt on once side. We ordered three curries and they were swimming in oil. There was more oil than any other ingredient. The masala tasted awful and they all looked totally unappetising. The only reason we ordered from here was because our normal one was closed. Will not be coming back. So disappointed.

Best delivery Indian I've had in ages. Had king prawn biryani, was delicious and generous with the prawns compared to others. The vegetable curry that comes with it was great. Sometimes you get a 3rd rate veg curry as it's an accompaniment to the biryani. But this was good and fresh.

I guess there's a first for everything.. we initially ordered online my stupid friend thinking he'd done delivery but it was collection. after releasing this we went to curry club to pick up the food and oh my god. the hygiene standards in this premises is below average AT LEAST IN LONDONS STANDARDS. I'm grateful my friend ordered collection. &No this wasn't clickbait with the first for everything, have a look at the picture below, this is how their 'salad' I think its called served in a white plastic bag with everything just put in randomly..

Poor quality good. Curry was too spicy for what was meant to be mild, the lemon rice was spicy too (!!), other than that there very little flavour to the food. The spinach which is usually my favorite was also a let down.

One of the mint pots that I paid for it came completely open and was split everywhere in the bag, so some of the dishes came messed up and wasn’t nice at all, the food is really nice but this thing messed up everything. 😞

Food came on time but it wasn’t what we expected to be, we have ordered many Indian dishes but his time it was different what we expected it, food was bland meat was chewy.
