The food took an hour and a half to arrive - when I called I was just told "it's on it's way", which wasn't super helpful. Luckily the food is always tasty! Not happy at all about the wait time but at least I'm less hangry now.

Yo realmente altos estándares y, por lo tanto, un fracaso que no sólo daría como resultado una mala crítica, pero también para no repetir en órdenes. Así que aquí estoy para comunicar a compartir mi opinión de que es un genial HGCH casa curry. Sirven deliciosa comida india. Además, he pedido más de 20 curris de ellos en los últimos cinco años, y mi segunda elección es Kiplings. Sin embargo, casa de curry más Highgate porque encontrar su comida, servicio y precios absolutamente fantástica, excelente comida, excelente relación calidad-precio. Cualquiera que discrepa puede ser un competidor, jaja. Gracias HGCH para ofrecer un servicio fantástico, siempre es un placer pedir a usted y comer su deliciosa comida.

The food is great here , but the staff are very rude and the food is always 30-40 mins late . They have two different numbers which is very confusing as a lady picks up and shes not even in the restraunt . Have been shouted at by someone who works there and hung up on when i made a complaint about it being 45 mins late . Not happy with the sevice at all

Estuvimos aquí en casa porque está al lado de la estación de metro. Principalmente pollo y curries ordenados vegetariano basado con todos los adornos - la comida era sosa, grasienta, barato de degustación y en algunos casos demasiado salados, sin duda el peor curries y he tenido que comer un montón de ellos, yo evitaría este sitio!

The sag special is to die for. I would eat it every day - and pretty much have this week 😂

30 mins late and poor communication, avoid

Unfriendly staff and awful food - veg bhuna was just onions and a few soggy pieces of overcooked broccoli, tarka daal completely tasteless, sorry not good wont be going back.

2nd time of ordering and very good again, good size portions and good flavours.

Delivery was delayed by 10mins of the estimated delivery time (delayed to 8:45pm) but didn't turn up until 9:15pm. I called twice to chase to have the same male say the delivery guy had left "ages ago". I guess he did as when the food arrived it was freezing cold! For the record when I called both times I was polite and friendly.

The curry itself didn't taste as good this time, and I got an apple Tango, hoping for orange. Would still order again though, everything else was great.

Tried this takeaway for the 1st time. Got to say it was really tasty. One of the best indians I have had. Very lovely. Highly recommended.

Took over an hour to be delivered which is ridiculous as the restaurant is 1 mile away. We had to ring up. Naan was cold and we received only 2 poppadoms with our meal which were all cracked when the food arrived.

We go to HIghgate Curry House about once a week- it's always delicious! We pick up our order and, (because we're creatures of habit) tend to get the chicken biryani, salmon bhuna, and samosas. Would definitely recommend!

Great food, had to wait about an hour and twenty minutes for it though. Only indication of the delay was AFTER the food had been ordered.

Very poor service. The restaurant has a child answering the telephone and dealing with customer issues. Worst of all was when I asked to speak to the parent/ manager and they told her to tell me that they were too busy. Eventually had to threaten to report them and a man came to the telephone only to argue with me and pass the phone back to the child to deal with the situation. I have ordered from the restaurant a couple of times now and have experienced this similar problem. Definitely won't be ordering from them again, even though their food is quite nice.

Waited 1hr 35 mins for our food, no apology, called twice and just got fobbed off! The delivery man even had time to sit outside and have a cigarette before actually delivering our food to our house

The food was good. The 'Pakodi' were really tasty! The delivery person was quite polite but not very understandable over the intercom.

I love the food from Highgate Curry House but this is not the first time that I have had to wait for longer than I have been told for my food. Normally I have waited extra 10-20 minutes but this was the longest we have waited. We ordered at around 17:50 from Just eat and got the confirmation that our food would be here at 18:45. After ringing twice, being told it would be only 10 more minutes, we got our food at 19:25-30. We called to talk to someone about this and were told: sorry there was a delay, next time you order you will get something free, we are very busy - and then they hung up. Really good food but super poor delivery time!!

Food was amazing but the delivery man was very rude and lazy. He is a bad face for this restaurant!! I will order from again but I hope it is not the same delivery driver

The tandoori grill was tiny and didn't look remotely fresh. Madras had about 4 bits of chicken and was Sub par in comparison to last time. Cheaper than most but I doubt I'll use again.

Food delivery late. Curry and nan breads good, starters poor.

Food was actually really good but their customer service is terrible, they had advertised with orders over £20 you get a free b.aloo and a bottle of coke. However I did not get this and when I called they just said they are not doing that offer and it's not their problem that it's still up there. The guy was very rude about it and failed to see what if you advertise something you need to fulfill it!!

Excellent curry. Generous portions, a little late and wrong popadom order, but will definitely use again!

Delivery was very late but made up for it with free popadoms and nan. Food very good.

Onion bahjis were good. Naan was good. Chicken korma was soupey, bland, no taste and the rice was quite frankly odd tasting. Came in ok time though. Silver lining etc

I order from this place at least twice a month. Love the variety of dishes as I'm a vegetarian there's lots for me to eat. I have to say the delivery time is always over an hour,but I think it's worth the wait. The food is delicious.

It was ok but we were not blown away after reading the reviews. We ordered a prawn jalfrezi (not king prawn) and the prawns were the size of a pinprick! Not sure how they managed to shrink so small. Personally didn't feel it warranted almost £8 for the dish! Delivery time was great, service good, food ok.

frustrating in the sense that the food was great but was really late. got the standard "its on its way" when i called after waiting 70 mins and it still didn't arrive for another 25 mins. frustrating but i would give them another go as the food was really good, even the sag paneer which is sometimes too sweet was really flavoursome.

To start my order did take over and hour and a half to arrive,but the delivery guy apologised and the food was great. The chilli paneer was amazing so hot was lovely I also had a vindaloo which tasted great and garlic rice too so I can't complain. I'm a vegetarian and there is a lot of choice so I will definitely order again!! :)

I order from here every week, very generous portions, sometimes they're delivery can be slow but it is made up for in the quality of the food.

How can you have a Indian takeaway without pilau rice. And the nan bread tasted of flour

Nos llevó 2 horas para entregar. Pedimos a las 8 de la tarde, nos dijeron que sería una hora, lo cual es genial. Ahora 10,10 h y ninguna señal de que en general. Llamó 3 veces y sólo nos dijeron que estaba lleno, entonces me preguntó si quería 'no nos molestó' ya que ha tomado mucho tiempo!

Really tasty, especially the paneer balti. Decent portions too. Great options for vegetarians, can't wait to try the broccoli with coconut next time.

We love Highgate Curry House, always our favourite. Delicious food, quick delivery and friendly staff.

Pilau rice was plain rice smothered in onions and oil. Masala had so many nuts in that it was unedible. When i called to complain, the staff denied me having even made an order despite the factvot had been delivered, and paid for along with a confirmation email. Never again.

After an hour and 20 minutes (which is far too slow for a takeaway to cook a small meal ANYWAY) they rang to tell me they were adding an additional charge for delivery because I live outside their delivery area, despite them accepting my initial order with free delivery. They should either have rung me about this issue within 5 minutes of me ordering (which would have been ok) or not accepted my order in the first place. They definitely shouldn't make me wait, hungry and getting frustrated at the slow service, and then after 80 minutes ask for more money than we initially agreed. I found them by inputting my postcode into the app so it's not my fault that I was too far away for them to deliver for free. I refused to pay the extra delivery and cancelled the order.

Amazing every time. Iv tried lots of Indian restaurants in north London and this has to be right at the top.

Actually not sure how or why this place is still open. The food is poor. It's essentially a budget curry house so if your standards aren't that high or you're skint go for it. Otherwise, go to Kipling's.

The food is FANTASTIC!! The Xacuti lamb is particularly awesome. This has been my go to place for late nights in the office for nearly 3 years. Lovely fresh and high quality food. Excellent prices too.

We have ordered Butter chicken and Padras dishes which both dishes were flavourless. Both dishes had no spices nor any taste. Very disappointed.

The meal was tasty and fresh, not too oily which is always a risk with Indian takeaway. You can tell that care and attention was put into the food and that the ingredients were fresh and of quality. However I will never understand why, whenever I order an indian, the salad it always at the bottom of the bag where it becomes hot and and horrible, it was for this reason that our prawn salad had to go right in the bin :(

The delivery was appalling. I must have had seven calls with the driver who continued to drive in the complete wrong direction, didnt follow directions or remember which part of North London I lived in. They even returned the food to the takeaway for me to pick up, which I could not do. Food eventually arrived an hour later than planned, stone cold. The driver even told me to hurry up and open the door as he was busy. Two hours of utter stress for cold food.

fantastic value and excellent food, with 20% off I got set meal for two under £20 and it didnt affect the quality or size with it being set. I have found a gem

Not what I asked for! Food was cold because they took ages to get here and not very nice.

DO NOT ORDER, unless you want to get half your order and no refund for the money charged. They took an hour and a half (after several calls) to deliver with a promised one hour. Not only this, some of the order was missing so since they couldn´t re-deliver, I was told to expect a refund which never came and I am still waiting for it. So, the food may be ok but, you´ll wait a long long time and won´t get your money back either.

Avoided the veggie korma, and all was perfect!

Food was delicious, although there were mushrooms in my veggie korma. I hate mushrooms! Delivery man was really friendly, and was delivered in the time stated.

Used this takeaway for the first time. Was very impressed. Really fresh ingredients, not swimming in loads of ghee. Delivered within the specified time, still piping hot: well packaged and not leaking. Definitely recommend and order from again.
