Very nice food and environment. I really enjoyed my time . Authentic desi food they have variety of foods and deal some of my favourite is chicken fried rice with Wings and dal makhni halim nehari it’s just gave me a taste like home. Halim and nehari, Paya u can’t find anywhere else like them . Stuff are really excellent one person name is master ji he is a greatest entertainer and lovely man .

Worst experience ever. Walked in with family. Guy at counter just said take a seat and no eye contact. Walked around figuring out which table to seat on as every other table was dirty. Staff shortage and once order taken, things came in drubs and drabs, one dish was £11 but was just an oily dish with bones and maybe one piece of meat! Manager seemed very grumpy. Overpriced too for what you get. Avoid this place and go somewhere else.

Avoid this place at all costs! The food is absolutely terrible—cold, stale, and nowhere near edible. But the worst part? The staff is shockingly rude and even abusive. They have no respect for customers and treat complaints with hostility instead of fixing their mistakes. Save your money, your stomach, and your dignity—go somewhere that actually cares about quality and customer service.

Never have I ever experienced this level of disrespect anywhere. I went there with a friend of mine few days ago and one of the staff members was extremely abusive and aggressive towards the customers. My friend was sitting beside a set of extra plates and she took one and put it infront of her. The staff member just walked in aggressively and started yelling. As he walked away and we called him back, he yelled "SHUT UP" and went inside the kitchen. Moreover, that guy was making offensive remarks to another male diner who was there with his sister, claiming that the guy comes here with different ladies. As we requested the manager, another staff member showed up claiming to be the manager who refused to call the real manager from the back. Ofcourse, he started defending the behavior of that aggressive staff member. I would like to request everyone who is reading this to stop going to this establishment until they get rid of their toxic and unprofessional staff. Cheers!

Great food with bold flavors! A perfect spot for those who love a kick of spice and a burst of taste in every bite.

Not recommended,food’s quality is minus .Ended up paying £14 for breakfast.It was disappointing.Prata was cooked in oil that was smelling.Tea wasn’t tasting good .Simple mixture of milk and tea bag. One of the female staff was talking too loudly which was annoying.I could hear her even she was in kitchen. I will never go to this place again.I regret why I took my friend over there .She has stomachache since ate their chana and puri and prata.

I recently had the worst experience at this place. The staff’s behavior was shockingly abusive. A slim guy at the main counter aggressively shouted at a customer, telling her to “shut up.” When another customer requested the manager, a supposed “partner” falsely claimed to be the manager, defended the aggressive staff member, and did not call the actual manager from the back. Additionally, this staff guy made inappropriate comments to a male diner who was there with his sister, telling her that her brother comes here with different women, causing discomfort among them. This hostile environment led several customers to leave in distress. I strongly advise against patronizing this establishment due to their unprofessional and abusive conduct.

I came in late yesterday and the head chef made me a box of everything. You were so nice and the food was delicious thank you so much I will be there again soon.

Great place and atmosphere, food is amazing very tasty and delicious, plus very reasonable prices as well . Will definitely recommend and would visit again. Good take away along with sitting as well.

Food was really good...can recommend the lamb for sure, as it was soooo tender. The vibe has not been improved by their refit a few years ago, as the addition of a takeaway counter in no way benefits the atmosphere! They still cook all restaurant orders fresh in the kitchen though. Oh, and they don't sell alcohol. Which is a bummer. But it did mean a slap-up meal only cost £20 each. Which in this day and age is pretty darn good value!

One of the worst experiences I’ve had to be honest I wanted to dine in this evening and was treated extremely poorly by one of the workers who insisted if I were to dine in u would need to buy a larger size absolutely wouldn’t recommend walked out and didn’t ordered

Ordered a Chicken Tikka Massala, Rajastani Lamb, Mutter Panner, pilau rice and a plain naan. Only the rice was good. All three curries were completely swimming in oil, making them pretty much inedible. The tikka massala didn't resemble a tikka massala at all, the chicken wasn't marinated, there was no cream in the sauce, just tough bits of chicken floating in some kind of generic curry that was half oil. Rajasthan lamb was just bits of lamb in spicy oil. Mutter paneer was mainly oil, with old hard peas. Even the naan was bad - flat and lifeless, like a supermarket naan bread cooked in a microwave. I was looking forward to a rare Friday night curry treat, and this meal left me and my girlfriend very disappointed, it was so bad we could barely eat half of it. To put the final finesse on the meal, we both got diarrhea within an hour of eating it. I was offended by this food.

Such a shame . Over salty very poor soggy curry. For high priced food 11.50 per curry so disappointed veg curry to much salt naan bread cold soggy also the mint sauce was off strait in the bin.

The cosiest environment. The manager/ owner uncle at Front desk is super friendly and caters each one of us with a lot of love. A must try for food. Love the dal, chops, piping hot 🔥 naan and yogurt. Must must must try

I got the chicken tikka masala on a Thursday night. It was a perfect blend of spice and the chicken was tender, even at the end of the day. Their service was great, atmosphere was very comfortable and friendly. I had paid and asked if there was rice, they said there wasn’t, so I asked to add on a Naan but they tossed it in for free since I had already paid. I wouldn’t say that’s the norm so please don’t go there expecting that, but that was really kind of them and I appreciate the service. I even offered to come back with a pound tomorrow to pay for it and they said it was chill and that I didn’t have to. They also kept assuring me of my order as I waited. I didn’t even wait that long, they were just conscious I was there and made sure I knew it was coming out soon. My order was wrapped in aluminum foil to help keep it warm. The place was also very clean and well maintained; clearly an establishment they take pride in. As I sat there waiting for my food they were very active with deliveries and some customers who were sitting in. I usually don’t write so long, I’m just very pleased with my experience and food and hope to come back again, maybe with some pals to sit in with next time.

Ordered 2xlamb biryani and samosa chat. Honestly I think you guys should add more cardamon and peppercorn because in only 1 box of biryani I found 7 cardamons and over 10 peppercorns :) Also to note the stingy 3 pieces of lamb per box. Definitely not recommended to anyone looking forward to have a biryani, proper disappointment. A big no to the samosa chaat too, I have no idea wth was that. One of the worst Indian takeaways I’ve had, not sorry to say.

Ordered a Lamb Madras to be delivered and it is bloody awful! It is more like a badly cooked, runny stew and doesn’t vaguely resemble a Madras. Totally inedible and vile. I’m never ordering from here again.

This is my bad experience. I ordered lamb karahi, chicken biryani, bengan ka barta. Staff very rude. They are not accepting their low quality food. Costumer paying money to eat proper food. First send your chef to learn how to cook then open restaurant for business. Avoid at any cost. Not worth at all.

Very slow service. I have been waiting over an hour for just two chicken and three Nan.

The food is terrific and they've got great vegan choices. It's absolutely worth the trip up to Turnpike Lane. The staff are friendly and professional and the owner is a fantastically friendly chap. Super clean place. Jashan is a lovely local spot and I couldn't be more delighted that they are still there making great food.

I came to this restaurant with my family. The variety of food is really good and the quality is good. The food is tasty and I recommend you bring ur family to eat here.

Used to be a nice restuarant. They've changed the layout and style, which I can understand, but the delivery food is awful. I hope this isn't the standard of eat-in meals, but regardless, there are lots of takeaway places that do much better food at cheaper prices. Real shame because I enjoyed coming here for over 20 years but it's changed so much I can't keep the rating I gave it previously, which was a high 4 star

Went into this place and asked them about a meal deal they were advertising in their window. Looking at the curries, noticed how much oil they contained, something another reviewer had mentioned. Decided not to eat there although the owner has 2 other restaurants called Salim in the same street (Turnpike Lane, North London).

Usually I love this place. However, the last few orders they have forgotten items. Then today I order and they practically for a meal and popadoms. I didn’t even ask for reinbursement the last time but now I’m just annoyed. They clearly don’t need the custom.

Service could be slow for large groups, but you'll forgive Jashan: their Dum Biryani is extraordinary, innovative while most tasty with moderate to strong spice. Wash the heat down with a proper Mango Lassi, and you'll be in Hyderabadi heaven 😋

This place is a hazard avoid at all costs i will be contacting trading standards to come and do a health check, chicken was rock hard sitting there for maybe days. it was microwaved, food tasted disgusting and the curry had so much fat and oil in there. I told the boss the food is not nice i barely ate any of it. its horrible and he apologised and charged me in full anyways £23.50 for that lol. Today i have woken up and i cant stop going toilot this food is days old

We (2) had a meal this evening. We ordered Mixed Grill, Channa Curry, a couple of Nans which, cost £29.85. The mixed grill had burnt onions underneath the meat and was totally dry. I mentioned this to the waiter and asked him to report to the owner, who is the main chef. We expected an apology at least but none received. Service was sloppy as well, the waiter forgot to serve the initial salad. I had to ask for it as the mains had already arrived. Disappointing.

Ordered samosa chaat and paneer lababdar on Ubereats. The quantity was ample and the flavours were awesome. Highly recommend!

Service is amazing!! The old man there is referred to affectionately, between my friend and I, as being my other father ahahah, he is so sweet! Its a family run business which makes this place feel like youre visiting a very well organised home. The food's absolutely great. I definitely recommend. I've been here 3 times so far, twice for takeaway, and each time I experienced tremendous kindness. Its as if once you enter the realm of Jashan's everyone's suddenly on happy pills, well, whatever the reason for the happiness, I hope they remain that way for as long as they are alive. Love this place. And, I forgot to mention, the value for money is mind-blowing! A full main dish costs around £7.

Delicious yummy food. The keema naan was superb & the portions of the chicken saag & lamb curry with okra were yummy but a little spicy. The chat masala & jeera rice, lamb birani & mango lassi’s were yummy & the gulab jamun were very tasty! Prices were good and the portion size. Will return again inshallah thank you 😊

Ordered takeaway here from Deliveroo and surprised at how I was not willing to eat their curries. Ordered a Madras and a Kadai curry but both look the same and no writing on the tupperware to differentiate which is which. When I tasted the curry, it tasted grim and salty and almost like as if a wet dirty rag was ran along it. The naan breads weren't any better -- as if they were purchased from Tesco and reheated on the microwave. Overall, will never order from here again. I didn't eat much of it but my stomach already feels sick from it as if it's rejecting it. I don't know how reviews can rate this as 4 stars.

My husband called up the restaurant guy and he blamed Just Eat people for stealing food. And we had to order again with the delivery charge. The guy in the restaurant does not clearly state that the delivery charge will be there if u order the can, and we will deliver your dish then on that he said he will send 2 butter naans and I thought it was like goodwill as one item was not sent. But Why Should We Pay Again For The Delivery Charge If It Was The Restaurants Mistake? I confronted the same guy who came the second time to deliver the dish and I asked him why the restaurant did not send our one item the just-eat guy said that they are very busy and they forgot. I got really mad and I told the just eat guy but the restaurant guy blames just eat for stealing the food. then also I checked reviews online that if anybody said anything in the reviews. The restaurant guy says oh it has happened with many of our customers. There were no reviews on it. Also, the item was not piping hot. So I am pretty sure it was forgotten there in the restaurant. Instead of admitting it, he went on arguing about it and blaming the Just-eat people. Today we had a bad experience with them. These restaurants have become so greedy for money everywhere and they don't think about their quality and standards of service. The restaurant should make it sure that the order is fully delivered. I had a meal with my wife, chips had a hair on it so they changed it however when I got home I had two pieces of hair stuck in my mouth, one black, one white, staffs do not wear any protective clothing, workers are talking loudly in their language front of other customers, never again

Wonderful staff, wonderful food, wonderful place! I came in here recently for their Lamb Biryani and I was not left disappointed! The food was honestly elite tier and cooked through and so well. Alongside this we were brought out some free chicken wings from their new range. Again these were cooked so well. I will be back again that’s for sure

Chicken in the curry was super dry. My stomach is not happy. Edit: I spent the whole night ill, your semi heated curry in a microwave was definitely not fresh and a possible health hazard. I would throw that away and be more careful.

Service somewhat slow. Looks like very popular with locals. Food was too 🔥 to my taste. The waitress very nice but not fluent in English. Starter not ordered but was given for free . Overall good .

In my many years of ordering Indian / Bangladeshi food & having lived in India I can honesty say I have never seen so much ghee floating on top of my food ever! It is off-putting & not at all justified in terms of taste! I have just spent not far off £30 for a takeaway & cannot eat it as it is drowning in ghee 🤢🤢

The service was poor, they kept forgetting the orders, staff were not friendly, it was quiet, staff talking and walking around.

Before the change of ownership and the redecoration in 2022, it used to be our favourite restaurant in London for years. The food was delicious in a tastefully decorated interior and very polite service. We have tried the food after the change and while it is okay, we miss the dishes and tastes that Jashan used to offer.

The quality of the food does not match the price. Really over priced and the portions were small. Initially went for iftar, they did not offer any complimentary snacks for those fasting. Had only water to break out fast. Then had to wait 15 minutes for our starter to arrive and then another 10 minutes until our main arrived. Personally won't recommend.
