Best Indian Take-away ever! Treated my best friend and even she was amazed. Very fresh. Love anything which has freshly ground almonds (tikka and korma) Beautiful!! Will never change Indian food place.

Food arrived on time although my delivery time was extended by 25 minutes. Food was very bland. I'm not expecting Cinnamon Kitchen but some spice would not go amiss. It was as if the curries were watered down. It's the first time I've ordered from here and I'm afraid I will not be ordering again. Very disappointing. Just a suggestion: Please add more spice to give flavour to the dishes.

The food arrived 2 and a half hours after I ordered it. I called the restaurant 15 minutes after I ordered and they told me it was on its way. It was luke warm when it arrived and I'd already had to cook dinner for my self any way cause I was too hungry to wait wait. Not impressed, would never order from here again.

The chicken korma was a bit watery and I wasn't a fan of the multi colored rice however the chicken curry was nice

Was disappointed with the food this time. Last couple of orders were good but this time very poor. The keema peas was awful.

The food was really good. Unfortunately it arrived after 2 and a half hours. I called and was told 3 times that 'the delivery driver has left'. It must have taken him 45 minutes to deliver 5 minutes down the road. Reviews on their website say very long (3 hour) deliver times are common. Would recommend the food but not a take-away order.

we ordered just after 9 and expected oif delivery and hour later. However our food arrived at nearly 11 oclock - not happy about this.

The restaurant added 20 minutes onto an already long wait time of 40 minutes for 2 curry dishes and 2 naans on a wednesday evening at 10pm. We called them at the stated delivery time (an hour) to ask where the order was and they were very rude and defensive and told us the food was waiting there to be picked up by a driver and would be with us 'soon'. The food then arrived 15 minutes later. The vegetable balti dish was ok, nothing special and the naans were hard but the vegetable korma was terrible and almost inedible. Will definitely not be ordering from The Massala Hut again. Very disappointing!

The food was really delicious and i felt that it was excellent value for money, we received a complimentary side order which was a bonus. However, it was a bit of a wait but it was worth it i would order from here again.

The food was tasty- we even got a free dish! And it is really cheap for what you get. The delivery time was correct however it is still very long: it took an hour and a half to deliver when we live within a mile away

Food tasted good just 45 minutes late and no response from restaurant when we called to find out where food was. It's a shame as I'll likely never use them again and there Fish Kofte Bhuna was delicious!

I ordered at 11:20 pm and got an email saying that you've received my order and that you have added five minutes to the original waiting time and that my food will come at 00:30. I am still waiting and you're not picking up the phone. Why would you accept my order if you knew you were closing 30 minutes after I had ordered and was not going to deliver it and you don't even bother to call me and let me know. Now I can't order anywhere else because it's too late! Absolutely ridiculous and rude! Won't be ordering her again and I want a refund!!!!!

Decent service, nice people & who wouldn't be happy with a bit of free extra's on the side. Thank you guys, however the quality of the food wasn't 5*. I really disliked the kebab in the mixed grill, tasted too much ginger & the king prawn vindaloo was basic... other than that, I would order from here again!👌🏾

Order was 15 minutes late however driver was very apologetic and gave a reason why the order was delayed. Food was very flavoursome and totally worth the wait. Would definitely order again!

Food tasted great but after the 1 hour delivery time (eta of 8:30pm) turned into an hour and 40 minutes (9:20pm) , we were so hungry that it was difficult to really know and the long awaited date night was offset! Also very misleading to change the online delivery time from 60 to 70 minutes and then not turn up until 110 minutes! They called around 9 pm but I was looking out the window in another room and didn't hear. Please manage your deliveries better and communicate as soon as you know it's not going to arrive on time, you knew, we called you after waiting 1hr 20mins, you said ten minutes more and it was another 30!!

The delivery took around 1hr 20 minutes as advised but it was really worth waiting! Food was really good, with great favours. Also got one extra dish which was very nice. I will definitely order again!

Food was delicious, saffron curry little too zesty but still great. Good quality chicken. Food arrived on the exact minute that was given after ordering. Delivery man was very friendly and didn't need to call me and have me direct him.(always happens). Will 100% be ordering next time I want an Indian.

The mutter paneer and channa masala is too sweet. There needs to be more spices in the food. Naan was nice.

Can't rate this place highly enough. Delicious, flavourful sauces, tender meat, fresh herbs, just gorgeous. Great value for money, lovely delivery guy, and happy messages written on the food tray lids. Best in the area, highly recommended!

Food was yummy when it eventually arrived half an hour after the half an hour they had added on originally. This made it a 2 hour wait in total. When I called they didn't offer any compensation... the driver was sorry tho.

Everything was nice. The Lamb Achari was too but would have been better if we could taste/bite onto sultanas and almonds - they seemed absent. Appreciate the complimentary side - suggestion, what if there was a choice of side?

"Everytime I visit my son Jamal in Edmonton we order food from Massala Hut.Having spent time in Pakistan and knowing & eating a lot of asian cuisine I have to give Massala Hut top marks,their food is excellent,very tasty,generous amount of meat in their Biryani's.Their delivery service is excellent and their drivers are very well mannered and polite,would highly recommend their food. The food was okay, though not as spicy as hoped for. The problem was it arrived almost an hour after the scheduled time (which had already been pushed back 30 minutes. After all of the delays we waited almost 2 and a half hours from ordering to getting the food (which wasn't very warm by the time it arrived). Also annoyingly the diet Pepsi we ordered was delivered as a normal coke. Not worth the ridiculous wait times.

Where is my apparently 'delivered' order guys? It's two hours now.

I did not receive my order! (why is it showing as 'delivered' on the App?). This is the first time I have had problems from here, my (many) previous orders were ok. Hopefully this is a one off and won't happen again. I had to settle for toast :-(

We love this place and wanted to share how good it was with our family so when they came over for a casual take out dinner. Everyone complimented how great the food was and were pleasantly surprised when I told them how reasonable it was! Continues to be a favourite.

Normally really good but I've still not received my food after and hour and 40 minutes waiting. Got a text saying it left half an hour ago but according to the restaurant the driver only left 5 minutes ago. Not sure I'll order from here again now. If there's is going to be a delay I would like to be contacted about it. Apparently the driver doesn't even know where I'm located (I've ordered from here at least 7 times previous) Not up to the job delivery wise.

Great food... However took too long to come.

Took over an extra hour to arrive. We ordered at 7. Food didn't arrive till 9! Food had gone tough like it had been under a heater for a while. Delivery guy was nice about it, The free food to make up for the lateness was 1 poppadom. So yeah, no the best.

I ordered my food at 23:30 PM then I get a call from the restaurant informing me it's their closing time but they'll still make the food for me not only did they do that because it was my first time they even added a free chef recommendation meal I will forever be loyal to them.
