The food at Indian Rasoi (near the East Finchley underground station) was excellent! And the conversations with the staff, who are always very courteous and accommodating, were pleasant as always. Every visit to this amazing place is to be cherished for its amazing ambience and service!! Will definitely be back.

We had such lovely food last night - really tasty and lovely staff - they couldn’t do enough. We will be back and recommend you to family and friends. I wish we had found the restaurant earlier. The good news is that we are quite local.

The best hidden secret! This is my local go-to and it never disappoints. The atmosphere and the good are amazing but the staff are the best part. Everything is made from scratch and they’ll talk you through the menu to find the best fit for you!

Went on a Tuesday evening as was craving an Indian but not expecting much considering the day of the week. Very pleasantly surprised! Fantastic service, ambience and the food was very authentic Indian. Highly recommend

Sensational service, fabulous food, complicated and interesting flavours in a cosy and welcoming environment. We experienced a generous welcome, generous serving of incredibly taste packed food, you can tell that the spices are freshly ground and that all the sauces individualised, and a host of extra touches, such as the complementary mint tea. I especially recommend the prawn puri, a moist buttery delight, the Jheenga Joshina is unsurpassable and the saag paneer with the addition of fresh ginger is magnificent. Booked a table tonight but due to a glitch in the system they were actually fully booked and could not reach me by phone to tell me … but they still managed to find some space for us outside and put the heater on …exemplary service (as always) and the food was amazing thank you so much!

A real Indian restaurant. I recommend "Palag Paneer" (spinach with Indian cheese), 'Butter Chicken' and the 'Peshwari Naan' (coconut-filled bread). The service is spectacular.

From our wide experience, Indian Rasoi is the best Indian restaurant, without question. It is becoming a weekly visit for take-away and we keep saying we must dine in too as the decor and ambiance is wonderful.

Our frequent dining spot is the Indian Rasoi restaurant. Their delectable cuisine, exceptional customer service, and affordable prices never fail to impress us. We wholeheartedly endorse this establishment.

Great flavors, beautifully presented, very warm and welcoming staff, we have been coming here for years and the food is consistently wonderful. You get hot towels at the end of the meal, and they brought us complimentary mint tea and a whiskey!

Ordered this on Just Eat after looking for a takeaway in north London that was reasonably priced. I implore any potential diners to not order from this restaurant. The food is inedible (seriously). Both curries (Chicken Jalfrezi and Chicken Tikka Balti) are extremely sour and taste disgusting. The only food that tastes normal was the Keema Naan, pilau rice, and popadoms. Truly vile. Not sure if this is what all food tastes like from this restaurant or if I somehow got extremely unlucky and either an ingredient was off or the chef was off sick that day.

We have been eating here as and when for the last 15 years ish . The food and service has always been good. BUT tonight it excelled itself: the lamb shanks were probably the best meal I have ever had, 5 stars 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻

The early delivery is not the problem. The problem is the delivery staff didn't check the notes, rang the doorbell at night time and woke both my kids.

The food, atmosphere, staff and service is excellent! I would highly recommend this to anyone interested in divulging into Indian cuisine, as it really is the best that I’ve tried!!

The best Indian restaurant for a country mile

Great hospitality from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. The menu has a balanced range of meat, fish, vegetarian and vegan dishes of various spice / heat levels and, suggest picking a few and sharing. This restaurant is busy (but not slow) so is clear others also agree this is a tasty find.

Good option for indian food, the staff is very helpful and willing to accept suggestions, would definitely recommend this place

We’ve just ordered a takeaway and for the second time in a row, the food was just full of garlic and no where near as good as when it first opened. We wound ever be buying from here again, which is a huge shame as it’s our local takeaway. My advice, avoid

Excellent, well-cooked Northern Indian cuisine. Recommended. Revisited December 2023, still very good - recommended. Portions are not huge, which is ideal if you are ordering a variety of dishes.

Have been here twice and received excellent friendly service both times. We enjoyed two different delicious vegetarian aubergine curries on our most recent visit.

Possibly the worst Indian takeaway I have ever had

I was looking forward to dining here last weekend as I’d heard good things (a while ago). However I shall not be returning as despite the good service and nice interior of the restaurant, the food and portion sizes were really disappointing and, as with so many places these days, extremely expensive. Our mains of chicken and lamb were teeny tiny and more like a starter size. My chicken tikka consisted of 5 small pieces of chicken and cost £11.95. The popadoms were also tiny and very few per portion . Such a shame .

So expensive! Shame the flavours were only fine, and the gravies were all so loose and soupy

Kept saying it would arrive in 10 mines and kept pushing it back, over all was later by nearly an hour

Very average,non traditional Curry House.Get the impression the cook/ owner is not of Indian/ Pakistani origin ...really flavourless. Went in on a lunch deal.but in all honesty it was misleading and basically ordered a la carte. Would give it a miss. The waiter was very helpful.but food bang average.

We ordered a delivery, OMG: Food was expired, old, and both of us, my partner and myself, had stomach ache and not feeling well after eating and the following day as for the food poisoning. We ordered: Dal Tarka, Plain Rice, Murgh Hara Masala (Signature), Bagara Baigan (Signature), Plain Naan !! All dishes we order were not good, the curries and the aubergine were sour and tasted very wired!! Only the plain naan and the plain rice was Ok. Please do not sell food that is harmful and hazardous to any customers!! We will never order again, DO NOT EAT ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE, SAVE YOURSELVES FROM GETTING SICK!!

The food is really good, but I'd say it's a bit overpriced. Be ready to pay an extra 15% for the service and £3.50 for a sip from a bottle of tapped water that's already on the table (and usually costs nothing)
