No volveremos

After reading some good reviews, we decide to give this place a shot - the third Indian place visited on this trip. The service was disjointed and poor. The food was all in all not very good at all. The lamb dish, recommended by the only good server out of at least 5 different people to wait on us, was terrible. Chicken Tikka Masala was flavorless too. Try another place, this one ain't worth it

We were visiting St Katherine's Dock in London with friends and felt like some Indian food as had not had for some time in Australia. Loved all our dishes and the South African Shiraz, very nice indeed. Our only negatives - a couple of the waiter's had left their personalities at home and they cleared away items of which we had not completed and did not ask if we were finished.

Mmmm great restaurant overlooking St Katherine doc . As you can see If you look at my history of rating Asian restaurants I visit frequently as I travel on business throughout the UK and Ireland. Have to say service was ok sounds like a couple of waiters were having a fall out but everything arrived nice and hot. Seek kebab starter excellent lamb madness main ok no need for a knife v soft. 5 out of ten. Not a friendly environment but unsure why. Would not recommend!!

Very nice location, my husband had the non veg Thali a mixture of different curries in small dishes, rice, nann bread. I had lamb Biryani which was one of the best I have ever had, we really enjoyed the evening until it came to the bill time, we paid the bill which had extra 12.5% service charge added. Then the waiter returned twice and opened the wallet to see if we had put a tip into it and each time put it back down on the table, the third time he picked it up and walk away showing the empty wallet to other staff shrugging and gesturing. it made us feel upset and disrespected we had paid extra 12.5% service on top of the bill so why should we pay a tip as well. Our total bill was over £60 just for the two of us. They need to sort out what they want, Service charge on the bill or customer tips. you don't pay both!

We visited here for my partners birthday during a trip to London, we were staying at a hotel near by. The location is lovely, quiet and overlooking the dock. We walked in and waited a few minutes to be seen and seated. Once seated a guy took our order, then another guy came and took our order again because they couldn't read the first guys hand writing. When the food came, the first guy brought the tray over and sat it on the legs near our table,....then he walked away to do something for another customer, it sat there for about 7-8 minutes before he returned to put the plates on our table - This completely baffled me!!! I had the butter chicken, it was really tasty but sickly. My partner had a nut based curry dish, he said he thought it tasted a bit funny but didn't think anything of it,...low and behold in the night he was ill - ill all the next day walking around London, he had food poisoning for about 4 days afterwards. The place is expensive, especially for rubbish service ( and service charge automatically added) - I wouldn't go back.

We visited Mala for an Indian recently whilst visiting London. The restaurant is in St Katherine's Dock which is a lovely place. The food and service were really good. It was quite pricey but enjoyable.

A fantastic Indian meal in a delightful location overlooking the boats moored at St Katherine's Docks. Service was friendly and food was delightful and authentic. Not the cheapest but great for a special night out. After dinner, stroll down to see the Queens barge Gloriana moored at the docks.

Terrific location, but very average quality and service. Not worth the price and time to eat here. London has a number of better Indian restaurants.

Me and my daughter came for a meal after watching Pretty Woman!Poppadum and chutney tray we’re delish! Disappointed no hot plates for main sides! Half tandoori chicken tasted great! Sides not worth £8.95 each! Service charge already on the bill - the waiter had the cheek to ask if we wanted to leave a tip??? Kind of ruined the experience !!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A comida é boa.

Fanstastic little family run place. Food and service was first class at very reasonable prices anywhere let alone London. Well worth a visit

They offered some regional dishes that we had not seen elsewhere which were very good. Our expectations were low because it was listed as a take-out but it was raining and we didn't want to travel about looking for another place. It was a birthday dinner for the old man (father/grandfather) in our group. We were very pleasantly surprised. We had seating in a quiet spot downstairs which was nice and the service and food were good.
