The best restaurants serving Indian food in London

First time at this restaurant but was impressed by the attentive but discreet service. Food was tasty and good portion size. Will definitely be back.

I was a regular at The Day of the Raj for Over 25 Years and I'm sad to see it gone. It has been replaced with another Restaurant now but that does not serve Indian food.

Great Sri Lankan little buffet. I highly recommend it if you like spicy food. The wait is a bit longer than usual because most of the time it's a one man operation, but it is well worth the wait and you always know that the quality is consistently good.

We really enjoy the experience of eating our, both service and the food. Both were excellent here. It was a Saturday night and we were not rushed. We have struggled to find many Indian restaurants locally where spicing is good, but this one hits the spot. Food is outstanding, well cooked and there was nothing to fault. A bonus is it is bring your own alcohol meaning we could enjoy some lovely wine with our dinner. Will we return - absolutely. This is one of two stand out Indian restaurants locally for us. Absolutamente, el mejor restaurante indio en el que he estado en siglos, y créeme, voy a un montón. La comida estaba fuera de este mundo y grandes porciones también a un precio muy, muy razonable. Ambiente muy limpio y cálido, el personal era tan amable y nada era demasiado problema. Fui recomendado por un amigo que va mucho allí y sin duda les contaré a todos sobre este tesoro escondido. Puedo recomendar el pollo Kadai, absolutamente delicioso. La mejor experiencia gastronómica en mucho tiempo. Gracias.

Excelente comida del sur de la India servida en un entorno sin pretensiones. Uno de los mejores restaurantes indios de la zona, junto a la estación de Raynes Park y al que merece la pena viajar.

Ordered delivery for first time - think I am a Indian connoisseur (😂😂😂) ie have experience of high end Indian (eg Delhi , Mayfair and Dubai) This was a fabulous lunch - a delivery !!! All 10/10 tikka/dhaba etc - truly spectacular - now need to go there as if it’s this good with a 2km delivery journey then how good would the tikka be straight to the table Burst the bubble a little - poppadom basket not my style To the owners : great job, will be there on site soon !!

Fue una experiencia muy agradable para mis gustos. Finalmente un restaurante indio que sirve comida a la paleta india. No edulcoradas, no engañado de los sabores de la India. El Biryani de pollo tiene un gusto increíble, cardamomo, pimienta negra, perfectamente sazonada! y el pollo de mantequilla masaala es más que un simple endulzados aroma.

Este "café de mesa formica" es un lugar sin complicaciones. Puede elegir su comida de una selección de curry que se muestra debajo de un mostrador de vidrio. Los precios son razonables. No se sirve alcohol, aquí es estrictamente halal.Está al lado de la Galería de Arte White Chapel, a pocos metros de la entrada de la estación de metro Aldgate East en White Chapel High Street.El lugar está extremadamente ocupado a la hora del almuerzo con gente local que claramente ama el lugar.He visitado muchas veces y me encanta el cordero biryani que tiene un sabor muy auténtico.

The food was excellent,I had chicken karahi,my sister chicken tikka,pilau rice,peshwari naan was gorgeous.The service was very quick too.Washed down with a Cobra beer made for a great evening meal in Battersea.Very good value,the bill was £30!
