We were meeting up with our teacher after nearly 60 years . We chose a venue close to where he and his wife were staying. We weren’t disappointed. We selected the place randomly

Being in the area and craving Indian food, we had a great dinner here. We had the Onion Bhaji which was delicious - fragrant and not too greasy. We were recommended the Kozhi Varutharacha Chicken Curry, which was very fragrant and had just enough spice for my liking. We also had the Kerala Fish Curry, which was much more mild, but the fish was very fresh and tasted great. We had both curries with paratha, which was clearly homemade. Overall, very nice food and friendly staff.

Was thrilled to find a lunch time restaurant doing delivery for Dosas. We ordered two masala and chicken , onion bhaji, potato Bonda and gulab jamun. Everything was outstanding, great combinations of flavours. Quick fast delivery. Would highly recommend and will order from Taste of Cochin again. This review based on delivery.

Ate here with a friend recently, one of the few places we could find that serves masala dosa. Did not disappoint; curries were excellent, masala dosa was great, waiter was helpful. Despite living a long way away, will return - thank you!

It's such a relief to find an Indian restaurant that opens at lunchtime these days. You are guaranteed a warm welcome and the food is absolutely delicious.

Had an amazing night out with my family at our first visit to this lovely restaurant. Food was very hearty and we all enjoyed ourselves! The Gentleman who served us was very attentive to our orders and very sweet. It felt as if we eating dinner in a Cochin household ! We ordered a masala dosa , idli and sambar, rice , rogan josh , chicken , chapatis and poppudums which were all scrumptious and gave us an amazing homemade feeling. Will definitely be coming again and I 100% recommend this place.

Have been eating at this restaurant several times and never been disappointed. It is my go to place for authentic South Indian food and well worth the journey from Epsom. This year I have ordered a large takeaway delivery for my office Christmas (15 people) party, food was warm and delicious and delivered on time.

We rang ahead and the restaurant agreed to stay open to accommodate us for when we arrived at 10.30. For this reason and the quick service I’m giving 2 stars. My chicken curry was almost inedible due to the overpowering taste of salt. Rice was wet and undercooked too. Overall very disappointing.

Friendly and accommodating front of house / waiter let down by poor quality food. My byriani had no sauce except a dollop of coleslaw, other dishes watery and excessively salty.

A good find for myself. Went there for lunch. Proper South Indian dishes. After a long time I found a restaurant serving proper vada soaked in sambar which makes the vada melt in your mouth. Proper masala tea which stings your throat when you drink. And dishes cooked in coconut oil which gives a nice taste. Surely going to visit again.

We have been over the weekend and whole family enjoyed the Meal. Yummy food and Staff were very friendly, it made our weekend so special. Can't wait to go again for an authentic South Indian meal. We recommend....

Had a lovely meal at this restaurant tonight. Ordered several different dishes across the menu and they all had their own distinct flavours and all delicious. Not over oily or greasy either. Really highly recommend.

Good quality Keralan food - not so spicy as other curry houses but lovely flavours - vegetables such as the beetroot thoran are wonderful!

Keralan food at its best. Authentic and a homemade feel. Very friendly staff and good service in comfortable environment. The fish fry struck close to home! As a keralite who misses homeland cuisine, I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Just opened - first week - much better now under new management. Mostly Southern Indian food and done well...service is just bedding down, while kitchen/chef knows what they are doing.
