The food was fantastic. It was my first time trying lamb biryani and I absolutely love it even though it was a bit spicy for me. I will order more often in the future :)

We ordered take out from here. Arrived a few minutes after told to and we were made to wait for another 25 minutes. The food was good. But we were charged twice for an item and now can’t get through to them on the phone to resolve.

Top Indian restaurant on West Mersea island. Friendly staff and good food. Dil will always take into account any allergy issues you may have and try to accommodate you. Food is delicious.

Al llegar nos llevaron a una mesa con no cubiertos. Un miembro del personal, literalmente tiró 8 cuchillos y tenedores en la mesa para establecer allí. No hay servilletas o cualquier otra cosa. Nos quedamos muy impresionados por el comportamiento grosero. Nos levantamos para ir al buffet y me dijeron a sentarse y que íbamos a ser traído entrante. Un poco de comunicación hubiera estado bien! El primer plato era dos cubos de pollo cebolla un duro correosos bhaji samosa y un pequeño. No me gusta la cebolla bhajis o samosas, así que cuando voy a un buffet es porque me gusta elegir lo que quiere comer. El buffet no era mejor. Fue limitada y la carne era duro y difícil. No volveremos muy pronto. No podía salir de allí lo suficientemente rápido.

Food is always of a very high quality, good portion sizes and staff are always helpful and friendly.

We have finally dined in Tandoori Villa after living not far away from the place for a couple of years. We can say this place is like to become our preferred dinner spot. Food tasted great, place has a proper homey vibe and prices are more than reasonable. You can bring your own drinks. Pleasant service and quick service.

Fantastic food - good portions and the chicken chilli starter is always a winner 😋. I regularly come here and receive a consistent and quality meal. Keep up the good work 👍🏼.

Shashlick was very spicy but sides and rice were nice.

This is the first bad review I've ever left because I felt the need to. I placed an order via JustEat. Estimated delivery time was 50 minutes. 50 minutes later, the app said by order had been delivered, but it hadn't. I waited in the street for a delivery driver and checked my phone for any messages or missed calls. Nothing. I called the restaurant directly and was immediately hung up on. Another hour later and still no food. I never received my order and received a refund from JustEat instead. Avoid ordering with them if you're using a food delivery service.

Most definitely the worst Indian food I've ever had. I had 2 bites before throwing it in the bin. It was basically scraps of dry chicken thighs with a bland generic curry sauce chucked over it, not my idea of a tandoori chicken dansak at all. Truly shocking! My wife's CTM was equally disgusting. Avoid this place, they insult good Indian cooking and should close down and do something else for a living

6/10 Experience, Great service- average food. Overall an average experience for both veggies and non-veggies. Great service, very attentive and polite staff. Food was overall alright, very rich with good flavour but a bit overpowering-sickly and therefore not quite to our taste. Value for money was reasonable for what we received and in line with standard prices. Atmosphere wasn’t amazing, but we did visit on a Wednesday.
