Tasty, authentic and fresh food with excellent service. This small venue is clean, and popular in our village for both in-house dining and takeaways. Our new go-to curry venue which is within walking distance.

The lamb was so chewy and tough it was inedible

The worst curry l have ever had. Chicken Tikka Masala was half a dozen lumps of chicken swimming in a sea of red gloop that didn’t even taste of curry. And they wanted to charge me £3 extra for ONE prawn! I was in a party of 20 and we were squashed together.

Just had our first meal their and it was brilliant. The food, service and price on the banquet night was perfect. Loved everything, will definitely visit again.

Food was late, cold, and very clearly just reheated from frozen ready-made packets. The naan were awful. Not a single thing was made fresh. It's absolute slop. Edit: Owner is making things up in their reply. I was waiting outside, there were never any police anywhere, and the interaction with the driver as he pulled up was "Here you go", "Great, thank you". It's astounding that they felt the need to type up an action movie plot to justify that their food is bad.

Quick delivery, but considering I live around the corner, the food was not hot. I found it all to be quite tasteless and didn't really enjoy any of it, even the onion bhajis weren't very good so I won't order again.

Went there the first Saturday after the relaunch as Sahil’s Spice, was pleased to see the changes in the decor, my wife and I had the mixed platter starter and our son went for the Lamb samosa, both were delicious and well presented. I went for a standard main a Chicken Dansak which was spot on, the wife had South Indian Garlic Chilli which was delicious, my son normally likes it a hot Naga decided to try the Royal Masala which is a Masala but made with a Naga chilli sauce it was delightful combination and he thought must have again in the future, the various vegetables and rices dishes we had was very good, the Garlic + Chilli Nans also good. Service was a little erratic, but to be honest it didn’t bother us the whole experience was superb.

hidden gem of North London for indian food. I love the madras with chili garlic naan. they blast nothing but Phil Collins which is how you know the vibe is lit.

This was our first visit even though we’re local… we normally go to an Indian restaurant in Baldock we’ve visited for years, so we were interested to try somewhere very local to our house. Overall we had a good experience and great food…. The restaurant is very nice inside, warm & cosy on a cold March night. The 2 waiters appeared stressed so that reflected in the very slow service and lack of friendliness to us compared to other reviews complimenting them. On reflection, I think we’ll stick to our Baldock place next time we fancy a meal out.

I eat there often plus takeout, staff very friendly, food always of good quality and I often get extra popperdoms ! Food reasonably priced also.

Tuvimos una comida para llevar y tengo que decir que fue fantástico! Creo que falta mejor señalización, ya que es un poco difícil de encontrar si no sabía dónde estaba. Sigue adelante.

Wonderful takeaway shop. Staff are super friendly and kind. Service was quick. Food was delicious! This is our regular kebab and curry takeaway place and it’s amazing every time. I had the chicken ghati (number 41 on menu) and it was incredible. Best takeaway curry I’ve ever had. Thank you Henlow Tandori! 😋X
